Тhe bus slowlу рullеd uр tо the interseсtiоn of the bustling Yujingуuan Villa Distriсt. Sееing hеr dеstinаtion, Ji Тingсhаn gоt off prоmptly.

“Wow, is this the villа distriсt in the Nоvеl Wоrld? It’s еvеn morе luхuriоus than the оnеs in our Rеal World!”Full novel: Oh No! The Female Lead of the Angst Novel Fell for Me — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Jiang Zhеngzheng еxcitedlу floаted uр tо exаmine the grand villаs in thе distаnсe.

“Novеl Wоrld? Rеаl World? Why did уou сall me thе Femalе Lead еarlier?” Ji Tingсhаn lоokеd аt Jiang Zhengzheng with а hint of соntemplаtion.

Oh nо! If the Fеmаlе Leаd finds out this world is just а casuаllу writtеn book, will her worldview complеtеly collaрsе? If she learns hеr рast misfortunes were merely born from a few strokes of a pen in the Real World, will she be heartbroken? How can we guide her toward a happy ending then?

“Ah? I meant I never thought I’d see a villa from a Novel World with my own eyes in the Real World! And… you’re so incredibly beautiful! You’re totally the Female Lead! Anyone who bullies you, I’ll call them the Villains! Yeah, that’s it!”

Although the text guy didn’t say she couldn’t tell, Jiang Zhengzheng still dodged the question with vague words.

Seeing her praise her every few sentences, Ji Tingchan shook her head and walked toward the residential area with slight resignation.

Passing through the landscaped area, Ji Tingchan reached the villa entrance, ignored by the servants. The cheerful laughter from inside made her instinctively stop in her tracks.

A nearby maid couldn’t help but sneer.

“Tsk, isn’t the young miss going in? The master, madam, and young master have already started dinner!”

“Start, start, start! Start your damn dinner!” Jiang Zhengzheng had fallen behind Ji Tingchan by a short distance after lingering a moment too long admiring the exquisite garden nearby. Before she could float closer behind Ji Tingchan, she heard the maid’s sarcastic tone, instantly making her head buzz with anger.

Ji Tingchan, standing nearby, calmly turned her gaze toward the maid, who involuntarily felt a chill run down her spine.

“W-what are you looking at! You’re just a motherless illegitimate child! The madam was kind enough to give you the title of young miss—you should be secretly grateful!”

“Ahhhhh! I’m so mad! You snobbish, rotten thing! Chanchan, I’m so furious on your behalf I’m about to lose it! You go in first and deal with those Demons and Monsters. I’ll stay out here and tear her mouth to shreds!”

Ji Tingchan wasn’t in a hurry to enter. She slightly tilted her head upward, hinting at the surveillance camera above. Jiang Zhengzheng, filled with rage, floated toward the nearby garden and swiftly scooped up two handfuls of mud.

After smearing one handful over the surveillance camera, Jiang Zhengzheng looked down at the maid, who was still saying something to Ji Tingchan. She weighed the other handful of mud in her hand and swiftly hurled it from above toward the maid’s neck!

The maid suddenly felt an inexplicable force press down on her shoulders. Unable to withstand it, she collapsed onto the steps, then stared ahead in panic and fear!

“Ah… mmph! Mmmph!”

The maid’s terrified words were cut off before they could leave her mouth, abruptly stifled by the mud pressed against her lips. Her hands involuntarily flailed forward, but she felt a powerful force pinning her back down!

“Let you talk! Let you talk! Let you spew filth! I’m so mad! I’m so mad!”

Jiang Zhengzheng, who had initially been sitting on the maid’s neck, now straddled her back, relentlessly shoving handfuls of mud into the maid’s mouth with both hands.Tears fell from the maid’s terrified eyes as she slowly looked up. There stood the young woman on the steps above, arms crossed, composed and poised, her gaze looking down as if observing ants.

The maid wanted to scream, but it felt as though an Invisible Person was stuffing mud into her mouth. Her tears and snot mixed together, causing Jiang Zhengzheng to instantly furrow her brows and leap up from the maid’s back.

“Ew! So gross! Serves you right!”

Seeing Jiang Zhengzheng pat her hands in disgust, Ji Tingchan couldn’t help but chuckle softly.

The young woman’s clear, melodious laughter made Jiang Zhengzheng’s eyes light up. She stepped over the unconscious maid on the floor, moved closer to Ji Tingchan, and looked up at her with watery, puppy-like eyes, staring intently at the girl whose smile hadn’t yet faded.

“Chanchan, you should smile more! You deserve to be this happy all the time!”

Hearing this, Ji Tingchan felt a pang in her heart.

She steadied herself, let her smile fade, and lowered her head slightly, looking into Jiang Zhengzheng’s eyes with a focused seriousness for the first time. In those eyes, she saw her own reflection, clear and full.

Such beautiful eyes.

Ji Tingchan wanted to reach out and cover those eyes with her hand, but thinking of something, she reluctantly lowered her half-raised hand.

“Let’s… go inside.”

Ji Tingchan pushed the door open, and what greeted her was the sight of a family happily enjoying a meal together.

“Oh, Tingchan, why are you only coming back now when it’s almost dark? I know you love to have fun, but you should at least let the family know. Come, join us for dinner.”

A fashionably dressed, sophisticated middle-aged woman sat beside the head of the table. She glanced at the newcomer at the door, waved her hand dismissively, her tone carrying a hint of condescension and implication.

“Good-for-nothing! Why don’t you just die outside!” The man at the head of the table, dressed in a suit, wore an expression of disgust between his brows.

“Oh, Yaolong! Tingchan is still young, don’t say such things. Even though she likes going to bars and hanging out with those troublemakers on the streets, at least she came back safe and sound!”

Xu Lifang pretended to scold, nudging Ji Yaolong to signal him to stop, but her eyes gleamed with satisfaction as she looked at Ji Tingchan.

“Oh my! I’m absolutely furious!” Jiang Zhengzheng glanced at Ji Tingchan with sympathy, then rolled up her non-existent sleeves, ready for a fight.

“Chanchan, I can’t take it anymore! How do you manage to swallow all this? That woman with the face full of ‘technology and harsh treatments’ must be your wicked stepmother, right? I’m going to teach her a lesson!”

Hearing this, a smile flickered in Ji Tingchan’s eyes. She lowered her gaze to the angry girl beside her and whispered softly, “Alright… then I’ll trouble you, sister…”
