As soon as the group stepped out of the training area, they ran into a group of arrogant Celestial Dragons.
Leading them was a fat, greasy man wearing a Bubble Helmet, while several slaves struggled to carry a massive golden statue behind him.
The statue was clearly modeled after himself.
“Move aside!
All of you, get out of the way!”
“If you delay Saint Mulu’s procession, I’ll have you fed to the Sea Kings!”
One of his followers shouted arrogantly, lashing out with a whip at nearby slaves who failed to move fast enough.
Cassian had already been looking for something to vent his energy on.
The moment he saw this scene, his interest spiked.
He stepped forward and blocked the road, crossing his arms as he stared at Saint Mulu with a faint smirk.
The follower immediately pointed at him and snapped.
“What are you supposed to be?
How dare you block Saint Mulu’s path?”
Saint Mulu stopped and looked Cassian up and down through his Bubble Helmet.
When he noticed the God’s Knights standing behind Cassian, his brows furrowed slightly.
Even so, he relied on his status and spoke with undisguised arrogance.
“I am Saint Mulu.
Whose brat are you?
Don’t you know the rules here?”
Cassian casually dug at his ear, his tone completely indifferent.
“Saint Mulu?
Never heard of you.”
He glanced at the man’s bloated figure and let out a short laugh.
“But with that body, you’re on the same level as Saint Rosward.
Both of you look like pigs that start wheezing after a few steps.”
Saint Mulu’s face twisted with rage, the fat on his body trembling.
“You’re asking to die!”
“How dare you insult me?
Guards, seize him!
I want him crushed under that statue!”
The guards moved forward instinctively, but Shepherd Somaz shot them a cold look.
The thorn pattern on his body flickered faintly.
A chill ran through the guards’ spines, and they immediately pulled back.
No one wanted to offend the Shepherd Family.
“What, no one dares to move?”
Cassian stepped closer, until he was almost face to face with Saint Mulu.
“I just called you a fat pig.
Got a problem with that?”
Saint Mulu stumbled backward, trying to maintain his composure.
“Do you know who I am?
My uncle is…”
“I don’t care if your uncle runs the world.”
A dangerous grin spread across his face.
“If you don’t like it, then take this.”
He raised his hand, flexed his fingers, and swung it forward.
A sharp, explosive sound rang out.
The slap echoed through the street.
Saint Mulu’s Bubble Helmet shattered instantly.
His entire body spun through the air before crashing into the golden statue behind him.
The impact made the statue tremble.
He collapsed onto the ground, half his face swollen beyond recognition, completely unable to stand.
Cassian shook his hand lightly.
“This feels way better than before.”
He nodded to himself, clearly satisfied.
Getting stronger meant he could hit people without worrying about hurting himself.
That alone made training worth it.
Inside the palace, Imu sat lazily, flipping through reports submitted by the Five Elders.
A faint sensation passed through her palm.
It was so light that it almost went unnoticed.
She paused, then glanced at the scene through the crystal display.
A faint smile appeared on her lips.
“So this is the result of his training.”
Her voice carried a hint of satisfaction.
“At least now I don’t have to feel the impact every time he decides to hit someone.”
As for Saint Mulu, she didn’t care in the slightest.
To her, Celestial Dragons like him were expendable.
If he got hit, it only meant he had the misfortune of running into Cassian.
Back on the street, Cassian was in a great mood.
He walked forward casually, even whistling as he went.
The Celestial Dragons who saw him quickly stepped aside, fear written all over their faces.
No one wanted to become his next target.
Cassian didn’t bother chasing those who avoided him.
But if anyone dared to speak up or complain, he would walk over and slap them without hesitation.
One strike was enough to leave them dazed and silent.
The God’s Knights followed behind him, silently cleaning up the situation.
Their job was simple.
Drag the unconscious Celestial Dragons aside so they didn’t block the road.
Figarland Garling watched all of this with a quiet sigh.
Cassian’s growth was obvious.
Not just physically, but in presence as well.
That reckless, fearless attitude of his had only become stronger.
It felt natural, as if he had always been like this.
Cassian suddenly stopped and turned toward him.
Garling remained silent.
Answering that question felt like inviting trouble.
Houses in Mary Geoise belonged to the Celestial Dragons.
If Cassian actually tried it, the consequences would be a mess.
Behind them, Hancock glanced at the Celestial Dragons lying on the ground and rubbed her forehead.
He was causing trouble again.
Cassian reached out and ruffled Koala’s hair, then looked at Hancock with a teasing grin.
“So, what do you think?
Not bad, right?
I sent that fat pig flying with one slap.”
Hancock rolled her eyes.
“You’re only picking on the weak.”
Cassian shrugged.
“That still takes skill.”
“And once I get stronger, I’ll start picking on people who aren’t weak.”
He was already making plans.
Once he mastered Armament Haki, he would test himself against the Five Elders.
(Bro’s being too overconfident atp)
If he could beat them one day, then he could head out to sea and do whatever he wanted.
Hancock looked at his smug expression, yet felt a strange sense of reassurance.
As long as Cassian was around, no one would dare bully her or Koala.
Even if he was crude and constantly teasing her, he wasn’t someone she found unbearable.
The setting sun cast long shadows across the streets of Mary Geoise.
Cassian walked ahead, completely at ease, while the God’s Knights followed behind with quiet resignation.
The Celestial Dragons he had beaten were either lying on the ground groaning or running back to complain.
Yet none of them dared to truly retaliate.
Everyone knew he was protected by the God’s Knights.
He was untouchable.
Gradually, an unspoken rule spread throughout Mary Geoise.
If you saw the black haired man followed by the God’s Knights who liked to slap people, run immediately.
The farther, the better.
Cassian was very satisfied with this outcome.
This was how life should be.
Free, unrestricted, doing whatever he wanted without worrying about consequences.
As for the future, he didn’t care.
Enjoy the present first.
With Imu taking the backlash and the God’s Knights acting as his shield, he could walk through Mary Geoise without fear.
He waved his hand casually.
“Let’s go.
Time to eat.
I want a whole roasted bull tonight.”
With that, he walked off with Koala and Hancock.
Behind them, only the groans of fallen Celestial Dragons and the silent frustration of the God’s Knights remained.
