The morning sunlight streamed through the tall, ornate windows, casting a warm glow across Cassian’s face as he lay sprawled across the bed.

He smacked his lips and turned over, nearly kicking Koala off the bed as she slept curled up beside him.

Ever since she had been rescued, Koala had grown extremely attached to him.Full novel: One Piece: Bound to Imu, I’m Afraid of no one — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She always insisted that Cassian’s bed was softer than hers, and every night she found her way into his room.

“Mm…

Brother, is it morning already?”

Koala rubbed her sleepy eyes and pressed her head lightly against Cassian’s arm, clinging to him like a small kitten.

“Not yet.

Go back to sleep.”

Without opening his eyes, Cassian pulled her closer.

The door suddenly burst open with a loud bang.

Hancock stood at the entrance, holding a tray.

The moment she saw the scene on the bed, her face flushed bright red, and the tray in her hands nearly slipped.

“Cassian!

You…

you are shameless!

Sleeping with Koala like this…”

She was so flustered she could not even finish her sentence.

Cassian slowly opened his eyes, clearly annoyed.

“Why are you yelling so early?

Can’t you see we’re sleeping?”

Hancock stomped over and slammed the tray onto the nightstand, making the fried eggs wobble.

“Who said you could sleep in the same bed as Koala?”

“Get up.

It’s time for morning training.”

Koala sat up groggily.

When she saw Hancock’s angry expression, she shrank back slightly and spoke in a small voice.

“Sister Hancock, I was the one who wanted to sleep here.

Brother’s arm is warm.”

Hancock froze.

Looking into Koala’s innocent eyes, she swallowed whatever she wanted to say.

In the end, she could only glare at Cassian.

“Hurry up.

If you don’t get up now, your breakfast will get cold.”

Cassian sat up lazily and stretched, letting out a long yawn that revealed his well-defined chest.

After continuous training, his physique had become noticeably more toned.

“What’s the rush?

It’s not like we’re being chased.”

He glanced at Hancock and noticed her eyes quickly shifting away.

A faint smirk formed on his lips.

“What’s wrong?

Staring like that…

Are you realizing your master is getting more handsome?”

“Shameless!”

Hancock’s face turned even redder as she spun around and walked out.

“I’ll be waiting in the training room.

Don’t be late, or you’ll regret it!”

Watching her almost flee, Cassian chuckled.

Koala followed with a soft giggle.

Cassian tapped her lightly on the nose.

“You wouldn’t understand.

That’s called flirting.”

“Now get up.

Wash up, then we’ll eat.”

“Okay!”

Koala nodded eagerly, her face lighting up.

Breakfast was as lavish as ever.

Golden toast, soft fried eggs, steaks, crispy bacon, fresh fruits, and steaming meat broth filled the table.

Cassian ate without restraint, quickly clearing plate after plate.

Koala ate more carefully, taking small bites while occasionally glancing at him, her eyes filled with quiet dependence.

After breakfast, the three headed to the training room.

The members of the God’s Knights were already there, standing in place with calm expressions.

They had clearly grown used to being pushed to their limits by Cassian.

After an entire morning of training, Cassian still looked completely unfazed.

Hancock was drenched in sweat, Koala’s cheeks were flushed, and even the God’s Knights let out quiet sighs of relief.

At least today, Cassian had not caused any extra trouble.

“Alright, break time.”

Cassian dropped onto the ground and waved casually at Hancock.

“Water.”

Hancock shot him an annoyed look but still handed over the flask.

“Can’t you get it yourself?”

Cassian took it and drank deeply before wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.

“Why would I, when you’re here?”

Hancock clicked her tongue but said nothing more.

Cassian leaned back slightly.

“Nothing to do this afternoon.

Let’s go out for a walk.”

The God’s Knights fell silent.

They already knew what that meant.

Sure enough, that afternoon, Cassian dragged Hancock and Koala out.

Garling, Somaz Saint, and the long-haired female knight followed behind, clearly resigned.

Cassian walked through the streets of Mary Geoise with a relaxed stride.

He called it a walk, but he was clearly looking for trouble.

His target was simple, Celestial Dragons abusing slaves.

He knew he could not overturn the entire system of Mary Geoise.

But anything that happened in front of him was a different matter.

If they bullied slaves, he would bully them right back.

It was only fair.

Not long after, a commotion caught his attention.

A tall, thin Celestial Dragon was kicking an elderly slave who was kneeling on the ground.

The old man clutched a broken bowl, the thin porridge inside already spilled across the floor.

“Useless trash!

You can’t even hold a bowl properly!”

The Celestial Dragon raised his foot again.

“Stop.”

Cassian’s voice cut through the scene as he walked forward.

The Celestial Dragon turned and frowned when he saw Cassian’s group, though he still tried to maintain his arrogance. Follow the newest chapters on g.com.

“Who are you?

How dare you interfere?

I am…”

“I don’t care who you are.”

Cassian stepped forward and slapped him across the face without hesitation.

The sound echoed sharply.

The Celestial Dragon staggered, clutching his cheek in disbelief.

“You…

you hit me?!”

Cassian rolled his wrist casually.

“So what if I did?”

“Bullying an old man, that’s your idea of power?

Try me instead.”

“You’re asking to die!”

Enraged, the Celestial Dragon drew his sword and swung at him.

Cassian sidestepped easily and responded with another slap, this one even harder.

The man spun in place several times before collapsing, his sword flying out of his hand.

Cassian stepped forward and kicked him down.

“With skills like this, you still act like you’re untouchable?”

“If I see you abusing slaves again, I’ll break your legs.”

The Celestial Dragon lay there, face twisted in pain, not daring to speak.

Cassian ignored him and helped the old slave to his feet, handing him a piece of bread.

“Thank you…

thank you, my lord…”

The old man trembled as tears streamed down his face, bowing repeatedly.

Cassian frowned slightly and helped him straighten up.

“Stand properly.

Don’t let them push you around so easily.”

He glanced at the surrounding slaves who had gathered.

“And that goes for all of you.

If any Celestial Dragon gives you trouble again, say my name.”

“I’m Cassian.”

The slaves looked at one another, stunned.

In Mary Geoise, someone was actually telling them to use his name against Celestial Dragons.

Of course, Cassian was not doing this out of kindness alone.

He was testing limits.

Testing how far Imu would allow him to go.

Behind him, Hancock watched quietly, her thoughts shifting.

She had always seen Cassian as nothing more than a reckless troublemaker.

But this…

was different.

Koala tugged gently at his sleeve.

“Brother…

you’re amazing.”

Cassian smirked.

“Obviously.

Look at who I am.”

He turned back to the Celestial Dragon still lying on the ground.

“Why are you still here?

Waiting for another beating?”

The man scrambled up immediately and fled in panic, not daring to look back.
