The Celestial Dragon had just hidden the slaves when the door was kicked open with a loud bang.

Cassian walked in with a relaxed swagger, followed by several members of the God’s Knights.

“Oh, Saint Charloss, what a coincidence.Full novel: One Piece: Bound to Imu, I’m Afraid of no one — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

You’re home?”

Cassian glanced around with a faint smile, his eyes sweeping across the room like a scanner.

“I heard things were quite lively here just now.

What exactly are you hiding?”

A stiff, awkward smile spread across Saint Charloss’s face.

“N nothing is hidden…

Lord Cassian, what brings you here?”

“Just passing by.

Thought I would do a quick inspection.”

Cassian strolled over to a gleaming golden toilet and tapped it lightly with his finger.

“Not bad.

Even your toilet is made of gold.

You really know how to live.”

He paused, then turned his gaze back.

“But where are your slaves?”

Saint Charloss’s eyes shifted nervously.

“The slaves…

they have all gone out to work!

Yes, they are working!”

“Is that so?”

Cassian raised an eyebrow, then suddenly raised his voice.

“Everyone in the cellar, come out right now.

Otherwise, I will have the God’s Knights tear this place apart.”

The slaves hidden below froze in fear, exchanging uneasy glances.

Saint Charloss’s face turned pale.

“Lord Cassian, do not listen to nonsense, there is no one inside…”

Before he could finish, the cellar door was kicked open by Saint Somaz.

The hidden slaves were exposed, each one trembling with fear.

Cassian looked at Saint Charloss with a half smile.

“You call this going out to work?”

“Why were you hiding them?

Planning to beat them again?”

“I did not!

I did not!”

Saint Charloss waved his hands frantically, his legs trembling.

Cassian walked over to a shivering slave.

When he saw the whip marks on the man’s arm, his expression turned cold.

“You did not?

Then explain this.”

Saint Charloss opened his mouth, but no words came out.

Cassian flexed his wrist and stepped closer.

“It seems you will not remember unless I teach you properly.”

Terrified, Saint Charloss dropped to his knees, clutching Cassian’s leg.

“Lord Cassian, please show mercy!

I will not do it again!”

“I was wrong, truly wrong!”

Cassian let out a cold laugh.

“Now you admit it?

Too late.”

Pointing at him, Cassian spoke with clear disdain.

“If I catch you hiding or beating slaves again, I will carve the fat off your body and feed it to dogs.”

Saint Charloss lay on the ground in pain, tears streaming down his face, not even daring to groan.

He nodded frantically.

“Yes, yes, I understand!

It will not happen again!”

Cassian finally nodded, then turned to the slaves.

“If he dares to bully you again, report my name or go to the God’s Knights.

Do you understand?”

The slaves froze for a moment, then nodded quickly.

“We understand!

Thank you, Lord Cassian!”

“Let’s go.”

Cassian waved his hand and left with his men, leaving behind a ruined room and a shaken Saint Charloss.

These surprise inspections had become routine in Mary Geoise.

Cassian was like a ticking bomb.

No one knew when he would show up or whose door he would kick open next.

As long as he caught someone abusing slaves, a beating was guaranteed.

Over time, the Celestial Dragons of Mary Geoise were driven nearly insane.

In the past, walking around with slaves was a symbol of status.

Now, they avoided even being seen with one.

Whenever they spotted Cassian, they would take a detour immediately, afraid he might misunderstand and beat them on the spot.

Those who used to abuse slaves in secret had also restrained themselves.

They began feeding slaves properly and giving them clean clothes.

Not out of kindness, but out of fear.

Under Cassian’s brutal methods, the atmosphere in Mary Geoise improved.

The slaves were still not free, but they no longer lived in constant fear of being beaten or humiliated.

Their living conditions improved drastically.

In private, many slaves quietly prayed for Cassian every day, hoping he would live long.

Among the Celestial Dragons, a saying began to spread:

“Better to provoke the Gorosei than to provoke Lord Cassian.”

The Gorosei might be terrifying, but they could still be reasoned with, at least from the perspective of the Celestial Dragons.

Cassian, on the other hand, did whatever he wanted.

If he disliked you, he would beat you.

With the God’s Knights backing him, no one could do anything about it.

Even the highest ranking Celestial Dragons had to act cautiously around him.

This was exactly what Cassian wanted.

Fear made everything easier.

As long as they were scared of him, dealing with them later would be simple.

After all, these people had plenty of valuable things.

In Cassian’s eyes, the Celestial Dragons were nothing more than walking Berries reserves.

Whenever he needed money or resources, he could simply take a walk through Mary Geoise.

They would hand things over willingly.

At that moment, Cassian was lying comfortably on a lounge chair in his courtyard.

Boa Hancock stood beside him, fanning him with visible annoyance, while Koala peeled grapes nearby.

Cassian spoke lazily.

“Little maid, do you not think I have done something great?”

“Look at how peaceful Mary Geoise has become.”

Hancock rolled her eyes and fanned harder.

“Only you would call beating Celestial Dragons a noble act.”

Cassian shrugged. This story is hosted at g.com.

“This is called acting on behalf of justice.”

Koala fed him a grape and asked curiously,

“Brother Cassian, why are the Celestial Dragons so afraid of you?

Even the God’s Knights listen to you.”

Cassian flicked her forehead lightly.

“Because I am just that impressive.”

Inwardly, he thought of Imu.

That woman was the real reason.

Recently, Imu had tried everything to get rid of the strange connection between them.

She attempted isolation methods, but the fatigue from Cassian’s training still reached her.

She even ordered the Gorosei to find a Paramecia ability that could sever connections, but it failed.

At one point, she fled to a deserted island far from Mary Geoise.

It changed nothing.

No matter the distance or method, the connection remained.

Eventually, Imu gave up resisting.

Strangely, she even began to find it somewhat interesting.

At that moment, she was watching Cassian through a crystal projection.

As she observed him being chased around the courtyard by Hancock, a faint smile appeared on her lips.

“Interesting man.”

She spoke, a trace of amusement in her voice.

Back in the courtyard, Cassian finally sat down after dodging Hancock’s attacks.

He looked toward the horizon, where the sun was beginning to set.

“Do you want to go back to Amazon Lily?”

Hancock froze and turned to him.

Her voice trembled slightly.

“Are you serious?”

Cassian nodded.

“Of course.”

“Once I fully master Armament Haki and Conqueror’s Haki, we will leave Mary Geoise and head out to sea.”

“Cool, right?”

Hancock stared at him, her expression softening slightly.

“I do not particularly care to go with you.”

But the slight redness at the tips of her ears betrayed her.

Koala leaned forward eagerly.

“Brother Cassian, I want to go too!”

“I want to stay with you and Sister Hancock!”

Cassian ruffled her hair, clearly pleased.

“Then it is settled.

The three of us will go together.”

The setting sun stretched their shadows across the ground, forming a calm and warm scene.

Not far away, the members of the God’s Knights watched in silence.

Deep down, they all shared the same thought.

They hoped Cassian would leave soon.

Life as his enforcers was exhausting.

Far away, Imu watched the scene quietly.

Her eyes flickered before she slowly closed them.

Perhaps this was not so bad.

After countless empty years, there was finally something different.

Even if that something was a troublesome man who caused chaos, mocked nobles, and beat Celestial Dragons without hesitation.
