Noon, Orange Town, on the streets!

Luffy squatted next to the heavily injured Zoro, who was snoring soundly face-down on the street, and proceeded to viciously slap his green-haired head.

Slap!

Slap!

“Hey, hey!

Zoro!

Wake up!

It’s time to go!” Watching this made Sinan’s mouth twitch.

Luffy truly had absolutely zero tact or situational awareness.

It was no wonder Zoro frequently threatened to murder him later on.

Having suffered a massive stab wound to the gut, endured a point-blank cannon blast, and dragged his agonizing body through a brutal fight, Zoro grumpily sat up and asked, “Ugh!

Is it handled?” “Yep!

We got the navigator and the map!” Luffy replied with a massive grin.

Without the original storyline’s events—where Nami handed Luffy over to Buggy, Luffy delivered his speech about the resolve needed to be a pirate, Luffy fought for the dog Chouchou, and all their subsequent interactions—and most importantly, with Sinan acting as her incredibly powerful personal enforcer, a pirate-hating Nami absolutely did not agree with Luffy’s claim.

Hearing Luffy say this, Nami immediately retorted, “We just happen to be traveling in the same direction for a while!

I am absolutely NOT your navigator!” In response to Nami’s firm denial, Luffy just laughed brightly, “Got it, Navigator!” Once Luffy made up his mind about something, it was impossible for anyone to change it.

It was painfully obvious that he hadn’t listened to a single word Nami just said.

Noticing Sinan and Nami, Zoro also gave them a greeting.

“Oh, it’s you guys.” “Mm!” Sinan nodded in return.

He felt a bit disappointed that he hadn’t gotten to witness Zoro’s epic duel against Cabaji, the Chief of Staff of the Buggy Pirates.

Even though Zoro’s typical cure for anything was just taking a nap, the severe stab wound had caused him to lose way too much blood.

Clutching his head dizzily, he muttered, “Ugh, no good.

I can’t walk.” Staring at Zoro’s blood-soaked midsection, Nami retorted sarcastically, “No kidding!

If you could still walk in that state, you guys wouldn’t even be human!” To Nami’s sarcastic jab, a certain straw-hat-wearing idiot defensively replied, “Hey, why are you grouping me in with him?!” Morphing into her terrifying shark face, Nami screamed, “Because you’re the least human out of all of us, you idiot!!” While they were busy bickering, several townspeople armed with clubs and pitchforks began marching aggressively toward them.

Sinan casually warned, “I think you guys might want to wake the Mayor up.

It looks like the angry locals are here!” Unfortunately, Sinan’s warning came a bit too late.

The townspeople immediately spotted the unconscious Mayor on the ground and naturally assumed Luffy’s group were pirates.

To make matters vastly worse, Luffy honestly confessed that he was the one who had knocked the Mayor out.

In the end, Sinan and the others were violently chased out of town by the furious mob.

The little dog Luffy had saved earlier, Chouchou, even stepped in to block the townspeople and buy them some time.

“We finally escaped!

What horrible luck!

Thank god for that little dog,” complained Nami, who was currently carrying absolutely nothing.

Carrying the hundred-pound sack of treasure on his back, Sinan grumbled back, “Easy for you to say!

You’re literally not carrying anything!” Luffy, who was carrying Zoro on his back, laughed, “Ah well, we made it out anyway.” Immediately, Luffy was simultaneously verbally assaulted by both Sinan and Nami: “You’re the last person who gets to say that!!” If this complete idiot hadn’t bluntly confessed to knocking out the Mayor, Sinan and the rest wouldn’t have been chased out of town by a murderous mob.

But the rubber idiot completely ignored their scolding.

Instead, he stared at their vessel with shining eyes and said enviously, “Is this your ship?!

So cool!

It’s beautiful!!” “I stole it from some idiot pirates,” Nami replied bluntly.

“And you guys actually plan on heading to the Grand Line in that tiny little dinghy of yours?” Sinan chimed in, roasting Luffy’s setup.

Undeterred by Sinan’s jab, Luffy answered with absolute confidence, “Exactly!

That’s why we need to find a massive ship so we can keep sailing the seas properly!” Looking at Luffy’s unwavering confidence, Sinan, who had read the original story, couldn’t help but suspect that this guy’s Observation Haki was already strong enough to literally foresee his own future.

Soon after, amidst the distant shouts of gratitude from the awakened Mayor, they sailed away from the pier.

….

Out on the open ocean, the two small boats drifted forward slowly side by side.

“Here!” Nami handed the neatly stitched straw hat back to Luffy.

“This is amazing!

Thank you so much!

You even managed to fix such a badly torn hat!” Taking the straw hat, Luffy recklessly poked his finger right through the repaired tear, instantly ripping apart the seam Nami had so painstakingly stitched together.

Infuriated, Nami stabbed Luffy with her sewing needles, causing him to howl in agony.

Watching this provided Sinan and Zoro with a great deal of much-needed entertainment on the otherwise boring sea.

“Hey, Sinan, do you guys have any food over there?” Zoro called out.

Taking a glance at Luffy’s shockingly barren little boat, Sinan couldn’t help but sigh, “I have to say, you guys are incredibly brave!

Setting sail on the open ocean without a drop of water or a crumb of food.” Complaining aside, Sinan pulled a few loaves of bread from the cabin and tossed them over to Zoro and Luffy’s boat.

“Arigato!

You guys are lifesavers!” Catching the food and shouting their thanks, Luffy and Zoro immediately began wolfing it down like starving animals.

“Nami, look!

There’s an island over there!” Sinan announced, peering through a spyglass.

Still focused on the compass, Nami replied dismissively, “Forget it.

It’s probably just a deserted island.

Let’s just stick to our current course…” “It’s not deserted!

There are tons of animals on it!” Sinan corrected her.

“Really?” “An island?!” Before Sinan and Nami even had a chance to decide, the moment Luffy heard the word “island,” his boat instantly sprang into action and shot forward.

Leaving the heavily injured Zoro behind to nap on the boat, Sinan, Luffy, and Nami set foot on the island.

“Whoa!

What a weird-looking snake!” Seeing a snake with long rabbit ears, Nami couldn’t help but gasp in amazement.

Luffy pointed excitedly at a pig sporting a thick, majestic mane.

“Look over there!

It’s a lion-pig!” Rabbit-snakes, lion-pigs, and foxes with rooster combs—seeing all these bizarre, magical creatures left Sinan feeling an unprecedented sense of wonder.

The appearances of these animals completely defied Earth’s theory of evolution, looking exactly like bizarre genetic hybrids.

Just as Luffy picked up the rabbit-eared snake to get a closer look, a sharp gunshot shattered the tranquility of the island.

A bullet slammed squarely into Luffy’s chest, stretching his flesh deeply backward like a drawn bowstring, before being violently rebounded by his rubber body.

“Ahhh!” A pained scream echoed from the bushes, and a pitiful man completely jammed inside a treasure chest tumbled out onto the grass.

Finding a strange old man permanently stuck inside a box instantly piqued Luffy’s interest.

He happily started chatting with the “box-uncle,” Gaimon.

As the conversation shifted to pirates, Nami and the others eventually began discussing the Grand Line.

Sinan, on the other hand, was far more interested in the island’s unique wildlife.

He was currently busy petting a cute little bear that possessed the distinct spotted patterns of a giraffe.

Back when he used to read the manga, Sinan merely thought Luffy was a lovable idiot.

But right now, actively watching him passionately discuss the Grand Line and openly talk about his wildest dreams, Sinan truly realized that Luffy possessed an incredibly magnetic, charismatic personality.

Arriving at this island was a much-needed moment of relaxation for Sinan.

The past few days had simply been far too stressful and tightly wound.

Now, he finally had a moment of peace to seriously consider his future path.

Should he just follow the Straw Hat Pirates, or should he establish his very own pirate crew?

Before eating the Devil Fruit, when he lacked the strength to even truss a chicken, he absolutely would have chosen to join the Straw Hats.

But now, he possessed a considerable amount of combat power.

However, if he were to create his own pirate crew, Sinan genuinely had no idea what his actual goal would be.

More importantly, “One Piece” wasn’t something Sinan could realistically fight for.

Did he really think he had some kind of overpowered gaming system where he could just press a plus button to level up?

Or did he suddenly have the Supreme Commander of the Revolutionary Army as his dad and a legendary Marine Hero as his grandpa?

Attempting to claim the throne of the Pirate King in just two short years…

even Sinan felt that was completely delusional.

Compared to those legendary transmigrator seniors in fanfics who conquered the entire world and became Pirate King in just a year or two, Sinan could only bow his head and say, “I’ve brought shame to our transmigrator community!” After pondering it back and forth, sticking with the Straw Hat Pirates seemed vastly safer.

Plus, it guaranteed he would encounter plenty of gorgeous women along the way.

That was what Sinan wanted to believe, but his core values and ideals clashed entirely with Luffy’s group.

It wouldn’t even take a few days before he found their righteous pirate lifestyle utterly unbearable.

If his ultimate goal was to build a massive harem, what the hell was the point of joining the Straw Hat Pirates?!

Later on, Sinan silently watched as Luffy used a compassionate lie to hide the cruel truth that the treasure chests atop the mountain—which Uncle Gaimon had guarded and yearned for over decades—were completely empty.

Witnessing this, Sinan couldn’t help but deeply admire Luffy’s incredibly high emotional intelligence.

If it had been him in that situation, he genuinely wouldn’t have known how to handle it so perfectly.

Bringing out the meager alcohol and food they had left on the boat and mixing it with the island’s fresh fruit, Sinan and the group spent the night celebrating on this island filled with rare animals.

Cluck!

Cluck!

Cluck!

Early the next morning, Sinan was woken up by the crowing of a rooster boasting a long, slithering snake tail.

Looking at the sweet, peaceful sleeping face of the young girl snuggled comfortably in his arms, feeling her soft warmth pressed against him, Sinan genuinely didn’t want to get out of bed.

However, he playfully squeezed her firm, perky little butt and whispered into her ear, “Nami, time to wake up!” The girl groggily rubbed her eyes and sleepily sat up.

The blanket slipped off her smooth shoulders, instantly exposing her magnificent, bouncing breasts to the cool morning air.

Even though they had fought a grueling, passionate battle late into the night, the moment he saw the girl’s breathtakingly beautiful naked body, little Sinan instantly sprang back to full, rock-hard attention.

If they weren’t pressed for time, Sinan truly would have loved to engage in a vigorous session of “morning exercise.” Shortly after Sinan and Nami got up, Luffy and Zoro woke up as well.

After bidding a fond farewell to the uncle trapped in the box, Sinan and the crew finally set sail, leaving the Island of Rare Animals behind.
