The moment those words were spoken, everyone turned their gazes toward the cloud of dust above.
Sure enough, within the thick haze, an enormous blue figure gradually emerged.
That giant was none other than the power of the Uchiha clan’s dojutsu— Susanoo.
However, at this moment, Madara Uchiha had only activated the second stage of Susanoo.
Meanwhile, Jack climbed out of the crater.
At this point, even he had begun questioning everything.
These two bastards possess this kind of strength…
Could they really belong to some newly established 17th Division under that old man Whitebeard?
If that’s true, then I’ve obtained some pretty valuable intelligence this time.
Or maybe…
Suddenly, another idea appeared in Jack’s mind.
Yes.
He believed that since Ren Mori and Madara had only recently joined the Whitebeard Pirates, their loyalty might not yet be particularly firm.
That meant there was a good chance he could poach them.
“I’ll admit it.
You two really do have some ability.” Jack looked toward Ren Mori and Madara.
“But the pirate crew you’re serving doesn’t deserve people with your strength.” Madara had originally intended to ignore him and simply control Susanoo to attack.
But before he could do so, Ren Mori spoke first.
“Oh?” “Sounds like you have a better suggestion.” “Whitebeard is already an old man with half his body in the grave.” “At this rate…
he doesn’t have many years left.” “If you two are willing, then join the Beasts Pirates instead.” “We’re also one of the crews led by the Four Emperors.” “That’s where your abilities can truly be put to use.” Hearing Jack’s words, Ren Mori was somewhat surprised.
Then a thought suddenly flashed through his mind.
“A trap?” “You’re planning to trick us into going back to your base with you, then surround and attack us?” Ren Mori teased.
Jack frowned slightly.
Does this brat have some kind of persecution complex?
“If that’s what you think, then forget the conversation.” Jack sneered.
“The real show…
is only just beginning!” He was just about to activate his Devil Fruit ability again when— A massive blue arrow of light suddenly descended onto the deck.
BOOM!
It exploded violently.
“I’ve been waiting for this moment for quite a while.” Madara spoke calmly while continuously controlling Susanoo to fire one blue arrow after another.
BOOM!
BOOM!
Seeing this, Ren Mori naturally did not remain idle either.
He brought his hands together.
Countless tree roots suddenly burst from the deck.
Bang!
Jack abruptly leaped out from the smoke and dust.
His eyes were bloodshot, and his expression had become hideously grim.
“You two bastards…” “You’ve completely pissed me off!” But the moment he finished speaking, his pupils contracted violently.
Because standing directly before him— were Ren Mori’s Wood Human and Madara Uchiha’s Susanoo.
BANG!
The Wood Human and Susanoo threw their fists at the same time.
Jack had no time to defend himself.
The instant both fists struck his body, the armor covering him shattered apart.
Blood mixed with fragments of armor as they scattered through the air.
BOOM!
With a deafening impact, Jack was sent crashing straight into the sea.
A gigantic column of water surged toward the sky.
Ren Mori and Madara landed on the surface of the sea and quietly waited.
Seconds passed.
Then minutes.
Eventually, the sea gradually became calm again.
Fragments of the destroyed ship floated everywhere.
Blood and corpses stained the otherwise blue surface of the ocean.
“Should we go after him?” Madara took several steps across the sea as he asked Ren Mori for his opinion.
Ren Mori shook his head.
“There’s no need.” Indeed, Ren Mori had already gained plenty from this encounter.
He had obtained a Summoning Fragment from Jack.
Jack himself posed no real threat to them.
Whether they could catch him or not, Ren Mori felt that continuing the pursuit would merely waste time.
Of course, if Jack happened to resurface right now, Ren Mori would not mind finishing him off along the way.
Standing atop the Wood Human’s forehead, Ren Mori stretched lazily.
“It’s over.” “Let’s head back, wash up, and eat breakfast!” As soon as he finished speaking, the Wood Human disappeared.
Like Madara, Ren Mori stepped directly onto the surface of the sea.
The two of them then walked across the water, one step at a time, toward their ship.
…
A long while later.
Marine Headquarters.
Inside a certain hall— “Mm…
I understand.” Fleet Admiral Sengoku the Buddha hung up the Den Den Mushi in his hand with a worried expression.
Amid the heavy atmosphere, however, the sound of someone noisily munching away could be heard.
Crunch, crunch, crunch…
Sengoku glanced across from him.
There sat a white-haired old man leisurely eating potato chips.
And he was certainly no ordinary man.
He was the legendary Hero of the Marines— Monkey D.
Garp.
Noticing Sengoku looking at him, Garp grinned.
“Sorry.
I just finished the potato chips.” As he spoke, he even turned the empty bag upside down and shook it a few times.
Seeing this, Sengoku’s expression became even darker.
He shot Garp an irritated glare.
“Idiot!
Who the hell wants your potato chips?!” “Bwahahahaha!” Garp was not offended in the slightest.
Instead, he burst into hearty laughter.
“Whitebeard has been making moves recently.” Sengoku suddenly changed the subject.
Garp finally looked toward him, though he still did not seem particularly concerned.
His expression seemed to be telling Sengoku to continue.
“According to the latest intelligence I received…” “The Whitebeard Pirates recently added another division.” Sengoku’s expression turned serious.
“It’s called the 17th Division.” ⚡ Support the Story & Unlock More Chapters!
