A wretched pirate with a flat nose and triangular eyes stared at the little girl cowering in a pool of blood.

A sickening grin stretched across his face as he let out a bizarre, high-pitched cackle.

Jihahaha!” “Hey, hey, hey!

Aren’t you being a bit too much of a pervert?!” Instead of stopping him, the nearby pirates burst into laughter, their eyes filled with bloodthirsty excitement.

“You’d even lay hands on a kid this small?

Hahaha!

You’ve got some nerve!” The surrounding laughter grew louder, and foul words poured out like dirty water.

Leaning against the mast, Hal watched the scene unfold.

Rather than intervening, he kept his cigar clamped between his teeth and revealed a cruel smile, as if the human tragedy playing out before him was nothing more than entertainment.

Just as the wretched pirate rubbed his hands together and took a step toward Nina, the lookout on the mast suddenly let out a heart-wrenching scream.

The sheer shock and terror in that voice instantly drowned out the laughter and cries echoing across the ship.

“What…

what is that thing?!

General alert!!

Alert!!” Hal’s face instantly darkened.

His annoyance at having his mood ruined practically overflowed.

He spat his cigar onto the deck and roared at the lookout, “What are you wailing about?!

Did you see a ghost?!” Cursing under his breath, he rushed to the ship’s rail, snatched a telescope from a subordinate, and looked in the direction the lookout was pointing.

But with just one glance, the furious expression on his face froze, replaced by absolute shock and disbelief.

On the boundless blue ocean, three figures were standing straight up on the churning waves.

Without a single plank of wood beneath their feet, they were sprinting across the water as if walking on solid ground, heading rapidly toward the merchant ship!

“What the hell?!” Hal abruptly lowered the telescope, his eyes wide as saucers.

He almost thought he had drunk too much rum and was seeing things.

But when he looked up again, the three figures had drawn even closer, to the point where he could even make out their clothing.

Snapping back to reality, the hairs on his body stood on end.

He screamed at the top of his lungs, “General alert!!

Move your asses!!

Aim the cannons over there!

Boys, grab your weapons!!” The pirates, who had just been laughing and pillaging, instantly descended into chaos.

They scrambled to grab their swords and guns, stumbling toward the rail.

The cannoneers frantically turned the artillery muzzles.

Everyone’s eyes were dead set on the three figures on the sea that completely defied common sense.

At the same time, the salty sea breeze carried a faint scent of blood, along with muffled cries that drifted over the waves.

Uchiha Yashiro stared at the entangled merchant and pirate ships in the distance, his brows instantly furrowing.

He turned to Kain beside him.

“Young Master Kain, what should we do?” “Board the ship, leave some alive, and gather intelligence.” Kain’s gaze fell on the vessel flying the Jolly Roger.

There was no hesitation in his voice, only unquestionable resolve.

As soon as he finished speaking, a deafening roar suddenly erupted.

Several pitch-black cannonballs wrapped in flames tore through the air with a piercing screech, hurtling straight toward the trio with terrifying momentum.

Uchiha Yashiro raised an eyebrow, a hint of disdain in his tone.

“What kind of trick is this?

The people of this world use such straightforward things for a sneak attack?” With a flick of his fingers, four kunai coated in chakra were already gripped in his hand.

With a smooth snap of his wrist, the cold blades instantly pierced the air, leaving behind only the sharp whistle of weapons tearing through the wind.

“What is that?” By the ship’s rail in the distance, Hal froze for a moment before bursting into a sneer, his face full of contempt.

“Hahaha!

What the hell?

Trying to block cannonballs by throwing a few pieces of scrap iron?

Where did these cavemen come from?” Before his laughter could fade, four earth-shattering explosions suddenly erupted over the sea.

The four cannonballs were struck with pinpoint accuracy in mid-air and violently blasted apart.

The resulting massive waves shot into the sky, and the shockwave caused the ocean surface to tremble slightly.

The mockery on Hal’s face instantly froze.

His eyes bulged, his face full of disbelief.

“What?!

How is that possible?!” On the other side, Uchiha Yashiro also felt the explosive power, which was comparable to paper bombs.

He clicked his tongue, his expression changing slightly.

“Not bad.

The power is almost on par with standard paper bombs.” Kain didn’t reply.

He simply kept his expression calm as his hands moved in a blur, completing a sequence of hand seals in an instant.

“Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique.” The moment the words left his mouth, the sea beneath the trio’s feet violently churned.

A water dragon over ten meters long burst from the surface, its scales and claws clearly defined.

With a deafening roar, it viciously slammed into the hull of the merchant ship.

“Crash—!!” The massive impact caused the entire merchant ship to lurch violently, its hull groaning under the overwhelming strain.

Dozens of pirates who failed to keep their footing screamed as they were sent flying, crashing heavily into the sea.

The rest stumbled around, hugging the masts and collapsing onto the deck, their faces filled with terror.

Several cannons by the rail were directly overturned by the surging waves, smashing onto the deck with a dull thud.

Hal’s face turned as pale as paper.

His legs gave out, and he nearly collapsed onto the deck, incoherently screaming, “Monsters!

They’re monsters!” Before the pirates’ terrified screams could fade, the three figures appeared like ghosts at three different locations on the merchant ship in an instant.

At the top of the lookout tower, Uchiha Yakumi rested one hand on the railing, his crimson Sharingan slowly spinning as he scanned the area.

At the bow of the ship, Uchiha Yashiro toyed with a kunai in his hand, a cold smile playing on his lips.

And on the railing of the second-floor deck, Kain crouched, his clothes fluttering in the sea breeze.

His crimson Three-Tomoe Sharingan coldly swept over the chaotic pirates below.

“Hey, you lot.

Who is the captain?” His voice wasn’t loud, but it carried an icy edge that forcibly suppressed the screams and wails across the ship, falling clearly into everyone’s ears.

The pirates below instantly fell silent.

They looked at each other, shrinking their necks, none daring to be the first to speak.

“I’ll ask one more time.

Who is the captain?” Kain’s tone didn’t waver in the slightest, yet it sent a bone-chilling cold through everyone present.

The deck remained dead silent.

No one knew what this seemingly teenage boy would do to the captain.

If they pointed him out now, and this demon of death left later, they would be the ones facing retribution.

But in the next second, Kain vanished from his spot.

When he reappeared, he was already standing in front of a pirate cowering at the very front of the crowd.

He reached out his right hand, accurately gripping the man’s neck, and applied a slight pressure with his fingers.

“Crack—” A crisp sound of bone fracturing rang out.

Before the terror on the pirate’s face could even fade, his body went limp and collapsed, devoid of life.
