My entire body froze for a long moment at that voice and then fear rushed through me like hot fire as I finally forced myself to turn around to face the source.

“Uhh, Noctis…you’re awake?” I asked softly, laughing nervously as I raised my head up to stare at the snake in front of me but instead found nothing.

Where is he?

My brows furrowed as I glanced around but found nothing at all.

So who had said that?

Scared me out of ten precious years of my life!

I hissed in pure indignation as I began for the place I kept my things and that Noctis of a snake but something caught my attention.

A glittering pearl shaped object sat on the ground where the snake had died.

It shone brightly under the moonlight and I could see that the color was a pale red.

My brows furrowed as I cautiously approached it then bent down to retrieve it and immediately a high pitched ding filled my mind.

Ding!!!!!

Congratulations Host!

Host has acquired a serpent pearl!!

A highly sought after object that has the power to grant anyone complete immunity from almost every venom and poison in existence.

Its value is as high as fifteen gold beast cores!!!

Serpent Pearl?

Fifteen gold beast cores?

What’s all that?

This world’s currency, the one you wrote yourself!

Ahhn, why don’t I remember writing something like that?

I don’t think I even added their exchange means in my world building.

You didn’t?

Liar, I can pull up an image for you right now!

Okay, okay I wrote it but this pearl, can it be gotten from any snake beast male?

As long as they are at or past Tier Three then yes.

Then…my eyes moved to the place where Noctis was at with my basket and a creepy smile filled my lips.

Can’t I just kill Noctis too and take his pearl?

I mean, even if I die after that, I will come back to life but this time with two pearls that can get me lots of money!

Ahh?

What sort of a host are you?

I will report this to my main system and he will make you suffer the consequences for thinking of killing the main leads!!

Oh oh, calm down..

I was just…wondering about it.

You didn’t need to threaten me.

Really?

Just thinking about it?

Of course, I swear.

**I don’t swear** I heard that!

Then stay out of my head…no privacy at all.

Bending down, I carefully picked up the snake pearl and rushed back to the place where my things were only to scream in fright as frightening slitted eyes met mine.

“What do you intend to do with that pearl?” His voice came out terrifyingly calm at that moment, but I knew he was thinking of ways to kill me and make it look like an accident.

Lying snake.

“It’s my pearl, none of your business.” I clutched the pearl closer to my chest and for a long two minutes, he stared at me without blinking, sending a chill running down my spine.

“What?

Mesmerized by my beauty?” I asked, raising an eyebrow and his eyes narrowed for a moment before he coughed and blood spewed out of his lips right before he fell to the side in a faint.

What the….what is wrong with him?!!

He’s still weak, more weaker than when you saved him Why?

He didn’t do anything?

I just had him hide here!

If anyone should be weak then it should be me…not him!

Calm down, I think he forcefully broke through a sort of resistance keeping him paralyzed but suffered a backlash in the process…which made him more weak Argh, then he’s stupid too?

I thought it was only one male that I wrote that way…the fox male lead.

Host, you better leave here now…I can sense lots of beasts headed this way!

What?

Why would they be coming here?

They seem drawn to the blood.

Ohh, of course.

Why didn’t you warn me quickly?

I rushed forward and quickly hefted the basket onto my back and wrapped the snake around me before I high-tailed it out of there.

I didn’t stop running for a very long time and by the time the system finally showed me to the cave, I felt so weak, I could barely move.

I was practically dragging my body as I stumbled into the cave and fell to my knees—fuck!

That hurts, I hissed at the pain radiating from my knees and instinctively glared at the snake around me in disdain as if it were the cause of my peril.

He was, if it wasn’t for him and those stupid favorability points, I wouldn’t even be here!

Side Quest Unlocked Congratulations host You have earned 20, 000 normal points for killing the serpent beast man, 10, 000 normal points for survival.

Normal points?

Side quest?

Yes, you can use it in the international interface when it opens for purchase My eyes lit up at that and I instantly straightened as an idea began to take root in my head.

What?

That’s great then, I should also kill Noctis and add to my points!!

Noctis’s death was getting more and more enthralling by the minute.

My eyes shone gleefully as I stared at him, it would be so easy to stab him to death with that dagger and be done with it, it would save me so mu—.

I cried out as a sharp current suddenly flashed through my entire body, travelling through every one my limbs and almost frying my nerves as it did..my eyes rolled to the back of my head as it continued for a while before it stopped and I fell to the ground and lost consciousness.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ When next my eyes opened, I found out that it was already daytime and the sun was already climbing high in the skies.

I groaned as I forced myself to sit up before looking around the cave in confusion.

What exactly happened yesterday?

How did I faint?

I’ve never fainted once in my life so what was the cause of that?

For having too many negative thoughts and designs about the male lead Noctis, a serpent beast male, the main system decided to punish you with….a dose of lightning Lig—lightning!!!!!!!

Host, I warned you Can you freaking blame me?

He’s basically a cash cow!!

I’m only human!!

Loving easy money is a normal thing!!

What sort of system do I even have… I glanced around again and found the snake nowhere to be seen.

Where was he?

Had he been taken?

But that did not make any sense, shouldn’t I have been captured too if he has been recaptured?

He left this morning after trying to kill you.

Trying to kill me?

Why didn’t you wake me up sooner?

I tried to, you told me to get lost.

Eeh that sounds like something I would say.

That ungrateful little snake sure knows how to leave without paying back his debts, too bad he met me…I don’t care if I need to survive due to his favorability but I will find him and k—collect what’s owed me.

I smiled at nothing in particular as I recalled the shock from last night that the main system has apparently used as punishment before deflating.

No, I do care…he’s lucky I want to survive in this world…he’s very lucky that he didn’t meet me in my world, I would have pulled him down from whatever horse he thinks he’s sitting on.

You done?

If you don’t go back and start working, all your harvest from yesterday would all be for nothing.

Oh my my, I almost forgot about this!!

I have to return back to the tribe.

Even father would be worried.

Fuck, I slapped my forehead…how could you not have thought about this before deciding to save that ungrateful prick?!

Host… Yeah, yeah, I’m going!

Picking up the basket, I turned and dashed out of the cave.

I really like it when my readers are expressive about what they think about the book’s contents.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!

VOTE for me!
