The words “lead my horse” seemed to have provoked the man once again.

He lifted Jiang Xuning’s face and fiercely captured her lips. His scorching kiss carried an irresistible possessiveness, instantly sweeping away her breath.

This time, she did not resist. Instead, she obediently raised her arms and responded to him.Full novel: Overwhelmingly Spoiled: The Possessive Tycoon’s Cross-Border Romance — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The tip of his tongue pried open her teeth, bringing with it the crisp fragrance of cedar as it intertwined with her breath.

His arm tightened around her waist, while the heat of his palm seared through her clothes and into her skin, sealing off every possible escape.

The friction between their lips and teeth grew increasingly intense. It was as if he were venting the unease he had hidden for so long, or declaring his sovereignty over her with domineering certainty.

Every twist and turn of the kiss carried an almost obsessive tenderness, leaving even her fingertips tingling with numb pleasure.

Only when her breathing became unsteady and she began to tremble lightly did he retreat half an inch. He brushed against the tip of her flushed nose, his eyes dark as though soaked in ink.

Jiang Xuning lay in Calisto’s arms, panting. After taking a moment to steady herself, she raised her head and cupped his face.

“Are you still angry?”

His lips brushed hers as he said, “I am. Baby still has to comfort me.”

Jiang Xuning laughed softly, leaned over, and pushed him down onto the bed. “I think you’re the baby.”

Their passionate entanglement continued, and the temperature in the room kept rising.

By the time Jiang Xuning woke up, it was already afternoon. Nestled in Calisto’s arms, she shifted slightly, the tip of her nose brushing against his warm collarbone.

The person beside her was breathing evenly, his eyelashes resting quietly, as though he were still asleep.

She stared at his tightly pursed, thin lips for several seconds. Then, as if possessed, she leaned over and lightly touched those soft lips with her own.

Just as she was about to pull away, she caught sight of his eyelashes trembling faintly.

The corners of Jiang Xuning’s lips curved into a faint smile. She poked his cheek with her fingertip, then leaned close to his ear and said in a soft, sly voice, “Achi, you’re pretending to be asleep.”

The moment she finished speaking, she braced herself against his chest and turned over, kneeling beside him as she firmly straddled his waist.

Her palm rested against the warm skin beneath his shirt, allowing her to clearly feel his heartbeat suddenly quicken.

Calisto could no longer keep pretending. His eyes flew open, and there was not the slightest trace of sleepiness in them—only the searing heat she had stirred up.

Heaven knew how excited he had been when Baby had taken the initiative to kiss him just now.

Calisto raised a hand and gripped her waist, his fingertips squeezing firmly as he laughed huskily. “You did that on purpose?”

“Who told you to pretend to be asleep?”

Jiang Xuning lay on top of him, her fingers drawing circles over his chest. Calisto felt so comfortable he was nearly going insane.

Baby smelled so good.

She was soft and limp as she lay on top of him. It felt so comfortable.

Until…

“How is that person? Did you get a doctor to look at him? That kick of yours really wasn’t light.”

Calisto’s hand around her waist suddenly tightened. He looked at her without saying anything, his expression dark and unreadable.

“I did. It’s nothing serious. Baby, let’s not talk about him anymore, all right?”

“Mm.”

Jiang Xuning patted the arm around her waist.

“All right, let go for now. I’m going to wash up. I’m starving.”

As he watched Jiang Xuning enter the bathroom, the smile at the corners of Calisto’s lips faded at a visible speed.

His gentle eyes suddenly sank like a cold pool. He picked up the phone beside him and called Molu’an.

“Make him kneel until tomorrow morning, then throw him out. I don’t want to see him again.”

Normally, that man should have died several times over by now. But his Baby was too obedient, and she had coaxed all his anger away.

Besides, now that he had Jiang Xuning, he did not want to take things too far, lest Baby discover it.

During the meal, Jiang Xuning sat on Calisto’s lap as usual while he fed her.

It was mainly because he simply refused to listen to her protests. By now, she had even grown accustomed to it.

“Achi, you work at home every day. Is that really all right?”

Calisto scooped up a spoonful of porridge and brought it to her lips. “Of course it is. I spent so much money hiring them precisely so I could make time to accompany Baby.”

By now, Calisto had become completely adept at caring for her and saying all sorts of sweet things.

“Hmph, smooth talker.”

She took the spoon into her mouth, the corners of her eyes curving up as she mumbled, “Find me a teacher when you have time. I want to learn F language. I’ll be living here from now on, so I can’t go without knowing how to speak the language here.”

At her words, the smile in Calisto’s eyes grew even broader. That “living here from now on” was, of course, because of him.

“Why look for a teacher? If you want to learn, I’ll naturally teach you myself.”

“You have time?”

“Even if I don’t, I’ll have to make time for Baby.”

Anything concerning Xuxu naturally had to be handled by him personally. How could he leave it to someone else—especially something as intimate as teaching her?

Once he had decided, he acted immediately. The next day, the two of them began their lessons.

Jiang Xuning arrived at the study, pushed the door open a narrow crack, and poked half her head inside. Her voice was soft and gentle. “Teacher, I’ve come for class. Do you have time?”

A smile played at the corners of Calisto’s lips. He was going crazy from how cute she was.

Little Kitty.

Facing the computer screen, he said a sentence in F language that Jiang Xuning could not understand, then quickly closed the computer.

His subordinates on the other end of the computer: There’s a woman in BOSS’s room?! BOSS just smiled?! BOSS has become a teacher?!!!

Calisto could not care less what those people were thinking. At that moment, he only wanted to hold his little Baby.

He curved his lips and beckoned to Jiang Xuning. “Of course I have time. Come here to your teacher.”

Jiang Xuning’s eyes widened as she walked over to him. “You can’t say that. You can’t say things like that in your capacity as a teacher.”

Calisto pulled her into his arms in one swift motion and pinched her soft, tender cheek. “What did I say? Was I wrong?”

Jiang Xuning suddenly felt a little shy and buried herself against his chest.

It was wrong—it was definitely wrong. Although there was nothing wrong with the words themselves, his tone was ambiguous and lingering. Coming from him in his capacity as a teacher, it just felt strange.

“Miss, class is about to begin. Are you still planning to hide in your teacher’s arms?”

Baby was too cute. He really could not resist teasing her.

“Stop talking. Class, class.”

Jiang Xuning hurriedly opened her tablet, her fingers still trembling slightly.

She could not let this issue drag on any longer. That shameless man was too good at taking advantage of an inch—once they started talking about it, he would only become more and more insistent.

After studying for two hours, Jiang Xuning had mastered the basic pronunciation and learned several simple words.

The phrase she knew best and could say most fluently was “I love you.”

That was because Calisto had made her say it countless times, kissing her once after every repetition.

It was only thanks to her strong will and diligence in studying that she had managed to learn anything during those two hours.

“Baby, your pronunciation is wrong here.”

“A ruo… ruo… Mmph!”

Calisto captured her lips, sucking on them as he hooked the tip of her tongue.

Jiang Xuning pushed him away forcefully with an indignant huff. The tips of her ears were flushed, and her voice carried a slightly unsteady tremor that she had not yet managed to smooth out. “If it’s wrong, then teach me! Why are you kissing me?”

The hand Calisto had placed around her waist gave a little tug. He seemed utterly innocent. “Baby’s pronunciation is wrong because the position of her tongue is wrong. I was helping Baby correct it.”

Jiang Xuning was furious. Clenching her fist, she punched him in the chest.

Who would believe him?

It seemed she really did need to find a teacher. If she let him teach her, who knew how long it would take before she learned anything?

By then, not only would she have failed to learn, he would have eaten his fill of her.

Feeling that she had learned enough for the day, Jiang Xuning immediately jumped off his lap, moving so quickly that he could not catch her.

“I think I’ve learned enough today. Let’s stop here. Goodbye, teacher.”

With that, she ran out of the study, leaving Calisto there alone.
