The black sedan stopped near a mall.
Lara bought clothes and daily necessities for Ethan.
She bought clothes that looked fine for a middle-class boy; she wanted Ethan to look ordinary so no one would suspect him and news of his survival wouldn’t reach his dad.
On top of that, he was going overseas. Getting attention there would only make things harder.
A Robotic voice chimed in his mind, and a blue screen popped up in front of him,

Ethan said to himself.
Lara booked a plane ticket to France for Ethan. Before booking the ticket, Lara changed Ethan’s surname from Goldberg to Hales. The surname was actually Ethan’s maternal grandmother’s surname before her marriage.
Hiding Ethan was the number one priority.
Lara dropped Ethan off near the airport.
Leandro picked up his items and headed to Los Angeles International Airport.
"Why are you coming with me?"
Ethan asked.
"Because I’m your personal bodyguard and assistant. My two years’ salary has already been paid. I will help with all your work."
Leandro replied
"fine, Ok"
Ethan said.
Leandro and Ethan were sitting in the waiting area. Then a familiar person was passing by them.
Fortunately, Ethan saw him from a distance.
The person was none other than Lucas.
"Why the hell is he here!"
Ethan said, then picked up a magazine to hide his face.
His heart was beating rapidly. He didn’t know what to do.
Leandro sensed his uneasiness and looked in the direction where Ethan was looking.
He said, "Boss, don’t panic. Panic creates doubts; be calm."
"Ok", Ethan replied.
Lucas went to the airport exit. He didn’t notice Ethan at all.
After a few minutes, Ethan and Leandro boarded the plane.
’Oh my god, riding a plane is so unreal. I always dreamt of travelling by plane.’ Ethan thought.
Ethan was travelling by plane for the first time. Leandro noticed his delighted expression.
’Looks like it’s his first time sitting in a plane.’
Leandro thought to himself. He asked, "Sir, is this your first time travelling by air?"
"Hmm, yes, it is, " Ethan replied.
"Enjoy your flight, boss!"
"If you need anything, don’t hesitate; just tell me."
Leandro said with a polite smile.
"Ok, by the way, why are the other seats so empty?"Ethan asked
"Oh, that’s because it is business class. Business class consists of premium seats designed for long-haul comfort that typically convert into full lie-flat beds, accompanied by gourmet dining and lounge access."
Leandro explained like a teacher.
Actually, Leandro felt pity after hearing Ethan’s past from his madam. Because of that, he accepted the job of being Ethan’s personal bodyguard.
’He lost her mother at a young age.’
’His father abandoned him, and his stepmother jailed him in the basement.’
’His fiancée betrayed him.’
’I swear from now on I will not let him suffer anymore. He has to turn into a strong man.’
Leandro pledged in his mind.
After 7 hours, the plane landed at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The plane, filled with people from different countries, started preparing to disembark. The cabin doors opened, and passengers stepped off the aircraft.
Leandro took the luggage from Ethan. They checked out and hailed a cab.
Leandro sat in the front passenger seat, and Ethan, in the back, glanced at and admired the French seats.
Then Leandro’s phone ringing ended the silence.
The call was from Ms Lara. He answered the call.
"Hello, ma’am, we arrived in France and left the airport."
"Nice. I have bought an apartment for Ethan. For his studies, that will be his new home. My assistant will send you the address."
Lara said.
"Ok ma’am, I will do just as you said. After reaching the house, I will give the full report of the incident at the airport."
Leandro replied.
"What incident?" Lara asked.
"Ma’am, actually, when we were waiting for the flight, Mr Lucas was passing nearby. Although he didn’t notice us." Leandro answered with concern.
"Hmm, don’t worry about that. I will send someone to investigate that matter."
Lara said in a serious tone.
Meanwhile, Ethan was not enjoying the view, but was actually checking his new system features.
’Let’s see what new features I got.’
