Leandro and Ethan reached the apartment. They entered the apartment on the 2nd floor at the end of the hallway.

Leandro unpacked the luggage and started setting up the place.

"Boss, I will buy groceries and other necessities from the store. If you need anything, just call me."Full novel: Perfection System: Billionaire Personality Unlocked — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Leandro said.

"Ok", Ethan replied.

Ethan checked the whole house for cameras, just to be sure. He still didn’t believe Ms Lara and Leandro.

Ethan chose the main bedroom as his own room.

Leandro returned with all the house necessities and started arranging them. Ms Lara also hired a maid for household chores.

The maid had brown hair and hazel eyes; from just a look, you can tell she is French.

"Boss, Ms Lara hired a maid for you."

"This is Camille Monet. From now on, she will do all household chores. She is a very experienced woman. She also worked at various big families’ houses. I’m sure she will handle all your needs perfectly."

Leandro introduced the maid to Ethan and turned to Maid asked her to greet Ethan.

The middle-aged woman turned and bowed to Ethan most humbly and said,

"Just as Sir Leandro said, I will handle everything at home. Rest. Sir, leave everything to me; I’ll handle it all."

AFTER 1 Week,

Ethan was having breakfast at the dining table when suddenly a call came. The call was from Ms Lara.

Ethan picked up and greeted, "Good morning, Aunty"

"Good Morning"

"I have completed all the procedures for your admission to a French high school."

"If you need any help, contact my Assistant."

Ms Lara replied.

"Which school?"

"Eurécole Middle School International"

"You will study in 4ème (Fourth grade / Age 13–14)"

"Ok Aunty, Thanks for helping me."

"Ok, bye, Aunty"

Ethan ended the call.

’I want to walk out and explore more about this city. After all, gaining knowledge about your Surroundings.’

The street outside was already alive with the morning rush. Delivery vans squeezed through the narrow cobblestone alley, their tyres rattling over the stones while scooter engines hummed against the tall limestone facades.

Neon was nowhere to be found—only the dark wrought-iron balconies above and the muted green awnings of the shops below.

A wave of warm butter and toasted wheat drifted from the open door of the boulangerie, briefly cutting through the damp morning air and the faint tang of diesel. A woman in a tailored trench coat rushed past on her way to the station, her leather boots clicking rhythmically against the pavement. Near the corner, the café proprietor was setting out small wicker tables, wiping down the marble tops while an older man sat already, sipping an espresso in quiet observation.

I pulled my coat tight against the chilly drafts sweeping down the avenue and slipped into the crowd. People moved with intent—leather bags slung over shoulders, scarves tucked neatly around necks, eyes glued to phone screens as they navigated the tight sidewalks without breaking stride.

The Métro entrance sat just ahead, marked by its ornate green cast-iron arch. A small group of high school students lounged near the stairs, hands shoved into their coat pockets, while an accordion player at the base of the steps squeezed out a melancholy tune into the underground tunnel.

I checked my phone—scrolling past unread messages and mundane updates—until the familiar rush of warm, metallic air burst up from the stairwell. The train had arrived. I descended into the station, joining the tide of commuters pushing past the turnstiles into the tiled underground.

"So, this is what living looks like in France. From Monday, I have to go to school and study with children who are 1-2 years younger than me. First, I have to increase my money by using cashback."

Ethan started buying various items, and his shopping spree continued till sunset.

Then, Ethan’s phone started ringing; he picked up.

"Hello"

"Boss, where are you? If you need something, just call me."

"Don’t worry, I’m just browsing things here and exploring the city."

"Boss, I’m telling you, you should be careful. This is a new country, a new place for you. You don’t know the roads here."

"Okay, fine. From now on, I will always inform you before going anywhere."

"Boss, wait a second. I will be in a minute. I’m hiring a taxi."

Leandro said.

Ethan glanced at his phone and sighed.

"It’s good to see that there are some people who really care about me, but I have to build my own life."

"Whatever, but the sunset here in France is truly mesmerising."

Leandro complimented.

"Show me the system interface. "

"Wow!!! I never thought it would be this useful to me. "

"It means I can use it to convert my dollars into euros."

Ethan exclaimed with joy.

Leandro drove a cheap car, which hardly looked like $10,000.

He stopped the car near Ethan and said, "Boss, please get in; it is too late to roam around here. Plus, you have to go to school tomorrow."

The next day,

The ray of sunlight pierced through the window and straight into Ethan’s eyes. Ethan woke up from his groggy sleep and yawned.

"*yawn* Looks like my easygoing days are over. Now I have to go to school. Well, it is for my own good. Being lazy will only make things difficult for me. "

"Oh no! I forgot to study for my upcoming classes. "

Ethan hit his forehead and was angry about his procrastination.

Leandro dropped Ethan at the school gate.
