Yi Jingnian slowly rubbed his thumb against the girl’s chin.

“You know quite a lot.”

Jiang Ranran closed her eyes and sneered coldly, “Have you ever seen a dead fish? The kind with its eyes rolled back, moving only when poked, and staying still otherwise. If you like that feeling, go ahead.”Full novel: Perverted Noble, Surprises Me Every Night — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Yi Jingnian said, “Did you learn this at the orphanage too?”

“Of course not! How could the orphanage teach such things?”

Jiang Ranran clarified immediately.

“I learned all this at school!”

“…”

“My roommate was my life mentor. She opened the door to a new world for me and let in some useful knowledge.”

At this point, she couldn’t help but open her eyes.

Then she shivered under the man’s gaze.

His eyes were deep and playful, yet carried that heart-palpitating sense of destruction.

Jiang Ranran instinctively looked away. She continued to tense her body, letting out a stiff, cold laugh.

“Don’t you want to force yourself on me? Fine, if you want to, I’ll make sure you end up with nothing!”

“…”

“Nothing?”

Yi Jingnian’s gaze swept over her. After a long while, he let out a low, mocking laugh.

“I doubt it.”

Jiang Ranran trembled involuntarily.

Then, her wrist loosened—the tie was actually untied.

She looked at him in shock, but the man had already stood up, impeccably dressed, and casually tossed the tie over the back of the chair.

“Still not getting up?”

Jiang Ranran was stunned.

Yi Jingnian sat down on the nearby sofa, poured himself a cup of tea, and relaxed into a casual posture.

Jiang Ranran scrambled to her feet, glaring at him angrily.

“You…”

“You can continue eating now.” Yi Jingnan glanced at her indifferently, as if nothing had happened.

Jiang Ranran glared at him resentfully.

The man sat there with his long legs crossed, his snow-white shirt perfectly neat, looking every bit the noble, restrained gentleman.

She looked down at herself—her pajamas were disheveled, two buttons undone, the collar askew, revealing a large expanse of her collarbone. She looked as if she had just been ravaged.

And indeed, she had been.

The sensation of the man’s touch still lingered on her skin, refusing to fade.

Jiang Ranran quickly straightened her clothes. Everything that had just happened on the floor felt like a sudden illusion.

Or as if this pervert had suddenly gone mad, only to return to normal now.

Jiang Ranran couldn’t swallow her anger and couldn’t help but ask:

“Were you… touching me just now?”

“What else?” he retorted.

Jiang Ranran: “…”

“Why… why did you touch me like that?!” she demanded, her face flushed.

Yi Jingnian lifted his eyelids, his deep gaze fixed on her.

This girl was like a flower in bud—a gentle squeeze would release fresh, tender juice.

“I felt like it, so I did,” he said calmly.

Jiang Ranran: “??”

“You’re sick!” she argued. “No one touches people like that, I’m telling you, this is…”

“Sit down and eat.”

“I won’t eat! How could I possibly eat after what you did…”

“Then starve.”

“…”

“Or,” Yi Jingnian’s voice was cold and detached, “do you want to continue?”

Jiang Ranran immediately sat down. “Then I’d better eat…”

She picked up the fragrant spaghetti again. It was warm, and because it was no longer hot, the flavor was even richer, the sauce melting on her taste buds.

Jiang Ranran’s anger inexplicably subsided quite a bit.

Her mind was heavy with worries, yet she methodically cleared every last bit of food from the dining table.

Perhaps it was because of the tension that she ate so much…

On the sofa, Yi Jingnian opened his laptop, seemingly working.

Jiang Ranran glanced at him out of the corner of her eye.

The man’s laptop rested casually on his knees, exuding the aura of a business elite—mature, elegant, with sharp and deep features that shifted between light and shadow under the glow of the screen.

Jiang Ranran curled her fingers slightly.

A sudden thought popped into her head: This guy really does look like he’d be good in bed.

“Full?” The man lifted his eyelids.

Jiang Ranran nodded. “Very full.”

“Change your clothes and go to sleep.”

“…”

Jiang Ranran couldn’t quite tell which kind of “sleep” he meant.

He had brought her to this place—surely it wasn’t just to let her have a peaceful night’s rest here, right?

After a moment’s thought, Jiang Ranran decided to take the initiative.

“Here’s the thing, I think we should clarify things in advance… We’re both adults, no need to beat around the bush, right?”

She cleared her throat. “We talked about it before—some things aren’t off the table… but that’s a separate price.”

Back then, she had asked if pretending to be his fiancée would require sleeping with him, and he had neither confirmed nor denied it.

He only said that if such a situation arose, he would discuss terms with her.

Jiang Ranran had always been pragmatic. If she couldn’t change the facts, she might as well seek some benefits.

Besides, this Mr. Yi seemed even more tempting than a male model. She even secretly thought that even if he gave her nothing, she wouldn’t be at a loss.

Yi Jingnian raised an eyebrow slightly. “What do you want?”

Jiang Ranran said, “I want you to help me find out where Shen Xinghe is.”

The air seemed to grow a degree colder.

The man’s eyes narrowed dangerously. Under the dim light, his handsome face took on a somewhat sinister cast.

“Is he very important to you?”

Jiang Ranran nodded.

Shen Xinghe was indeed someone very important in her life. She wanted to know where he had gone.

Yi Jingnian’s gaze darkened. “For him, would you do anything?”

Jiang Ranran considered this seriously and said, “Not necessarily.”

The man let out a cold scoff, leaning back slowly against the sofa, his tone carrying a hint of chill.

“Then let me see how far you’re willing to go for him.”

Jiang Ranran lowered her head.

His meaning couldn’t be clearer…

He wanted her to take the initiative to please him!

Such was the game of adults.

Jiang Ranran bit her lip, seemingly engaged in a fierce internal struggle.

After a long while, she finally moved slowly, step by step, until she stood before Yi Jingnian.

The man lounged casually on the sofa, one hand resting on the armrest, his thin lips curling into a shadowy smile.

Jiang Ranran closed her eyes, her expression one of humiliation as she climbed onto his lap.

Yi Jingnian stared at her unblinkingly, his gaze dark, like an endless night.

Jiang Ranran straddled the man’s legs, her cheeks flushed.

Carefully, she reached out to undo the buttons of his shirt…
