Zee stood at the edge of the platform, resting his hand against the translucent energy barrier.

A thick haze of blue grey vapor began to leak from Earth’s deep ocean trenches, swirling rhythmically around its dark, heavy continents.

The heavy gravity well inside Earth caught the rising vapor, trapping it in a tight outer envelope. White clouds condensed, stretching across the planetary disc in sprawling, spiraling storms.

Thin blue air clung to the dark crust, reflecting the surrounding starlight into a soft, magnificent halo.

Zee watched in awe as weather patterns came alive across the surface.

Lightning flickered silently inside a swirling cyclone over the eastern ocean. Rain fell over jagged basalt plains, carving tiny, glittering rivers through dark soil.

It was no longer just a collection of materials or a floating core. It was a self sustaining ecosystem breathing on its own in the vast void.

Zee reached out, placing his bare palm directly onto the outer atmosphere.

A gentle warmth surged up his arm, accompanied by the quiet, steady rhythm of Earth’s heartbeat. He felt every drop of falling rain, every shifting tectonic plate, and every pulse of energy coursing through its core.

For the first time since entering Sector 7, Zee didn’t feel alone.

He didn’t care about the low scores, the mocking crowds, or Gen’s cold warnings. This world wasn’t a weapon or a tool for points. It was his creation, and he would protect it with his life.

The atmospheric clouds suddenly parted beneath Zee’s hand.

The twin golden pupils inside the abyssal trenches flickered to life once more, staring directly up at him through the clear sky.

The planetary soul stirred, sending a deep, inquiring vibration through their mental bond.

“Father?”

“I’m here,” Zee murmured softly.

The oceans rippled as a heavy, uncertain whisper echoed in the back of Zee’s mind, carrying a quiet confusion that shook the planet’s crust.

“What am I?”
