In the evening, Forest Dew Farm quieted down.

Lucy suddenly woke up from her sleep; a strong, warm pulse traveled directly into her consciousness through the temperature-controlled incubator on the nightstand.

That vitality was exceptionally urgent, eagerly wanting to break free from the eggshell’s enclosure.Full novel: Pokemon: I Became a Farmer with the Voice of All Things — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She immediately sat up and turned on the bedside lamp.

Ivysaur and Budew were startled awake by the movement, lifting their heads groggily.

“It is about to come out,” Lucy said softly, carefully picking up the incubator.

Light shone from within the incubator, and the brown spots on the shell shifted in brightness with the halo.

The shell wobbled more noticeably, the light grew brighter, several cracks spread rapidly, and a small piece of the shell fell off.

A tiny, damp brown nose poked out from the break, sniffing left and right.

Immediately after, a small figure clumsily broke free from the eggshell and tumbled onto the floor, which was covered with a thick, soft blanket.

It looked like a small tortoise, with a miniature sapling featuring a few tender green leaves carried on its head.

The little one was covered in egg fluid, eyes tightly shut, and it shook its head, letting out a small sneeze.

“Turtwig…?”

The Growl was thin, filled with the innocence of a newborn.

Lucy reached out and carefully wiped the egg fluid off its body with a soft cotton cloth, her movements gentle and steady.

Her ability flowed naturally, sensing the state of this new life: a healthy pulse, slightly weak stamina, the small sapling on its head closely connected to its life force, and a mix of curiosity and nervousness about the new world.

“Welcome here, little one,” Lucy’s voice was very gentle.

“Turtwig?” (Warm…) Turtwig felt the touch of the cloth and the temperature of her fingertips, slowly opening its eyes.

Those eyes were as clear as obsidian, reflecting the lamp light and Lucy’s smiling face.

It stared at Lucy for a few seconds, then turned to look at Ivysaur and Budew nearby.

“Ivysaur~” (Hello~) Ivysaur lowered its body as much as possible, its Vine Whip swaying gently, and the plant cluster on its back moved along with it.

“Budew~” (Welcome~) Budew moved closer, its bud opening slightly and emitting a gentle fragrance.

Turtwig looked at this one, then at that one, its nose twitching continuously as it familiarized itself with everyone’s scent.

The small sapling on its head swayed gently with its breathing, the tender leaves full of vitality.

“It is your younger brother; you must take good care of it from now on,” Lucy said to Ivysaur and Budew.

“Budew!” (I will!) Budew nodded vigorously, its leaves gently touching Turtwig’s small claw.

Turtwig felt the goodwill, tried to take its first step, its limbs wobbling, but it managed to stand steady.

“Turtwig~” (Hungry…) A clear sense of longing was transmitted.

“Hungry, are you?

Just a moment.” Lucy was well-prepared; she stood up and took out liquid nutrient from the incubator—made with gentle Berry Juice, diluted honey, and trace mineral essence, at just the right temperature.

She scooped a little with a small spoon and offered it.

Turtwig sniffed it cautiously, stuck out its little tongue to lick it, and its eyes lit up instantly: “Turtwig!” (Delicious!)

It opened its mouth and began to swallow eagerly in small gulps.

Ivysaur and Budew watched with great interest, as if reliving their own infancy.

From the direction of the pond, slight “Lotad” sounds came—the Lotads sensed the new life but did not come ashore to disturb.

After finishing the nutrient, Turtwig’s stamina recovered significantly, and its eyes looked brighter.

It curiously sized up the surroundings, its little claws scratching the blanket, wanting to explore the new environment.

Lucy let it move within a safe range, silently guarding and observing from the side.

She noticed that the small sapling on Turtwig’s head was very sensitive to light; when the morning sun shone through the window, the leaves would unconsciously adjust their angle to perform the most basic Synthesis.

Lucy quickly recorded the observation data of the newborn in her notebook.

At breakfast, Turtwig ate special Berry paste.

It got it all over its face, and Ivysaur used its Vine Whip to roll up a wet towel, helping it wipe its face clumsily but earnestly.

Budew demonstrated elegant eating nearby, but unfortunately, Turtwig couldn’t learn it at all.

After the meal, Lucy carried a basket lined with a soft pad containing Turtwig, with Ivysaur and Budew guarding on the left and right, taking it to get to know its new home.

The Lotads lined up on the water surface, taking turns making friendly “Lotad” sounds.

Turtwig poked its head out of the basket and responded curiously: “Turtwig?”

Seeing the lawn, the Berry orchard, and the vegetable plots, Turtwig’s eyes opened wide, and the little sapling on its head shook excitedly.

“Turtwig!

Turtwig!” (So much green! Visit g.com for the full chapter.

I like it!)

Lucy placed it on the newly watered ridge, and it immediately dug into the soil happily with its little claws, even trying to bury its nose to smell it.

“Looks like a little one who loves the land,” Lucy laughed.

In the morning, Lucy started adjusting the pokéblock recipe.

Turtwig needed a recipe that was easy to digest, high in nutrition, and promoted Growth; Ivysaur had just evolved, so it needed to stabilize its energy and promote the development of the plant cluster on its back; Budew focused on the nourishment of energy precision control.

She compared the nutritional data provided by Jonathan, combined with her perception of each Pokémon’s energy characteristics, and recalculated the proportions and screened the raw materials.

Turtwig’s recipe was based on nanab berry and Pecha berry, added ground shell powder and soft leaf powder, mixed with honey, the resulting block was pale yellowish-green, with a soft texture that melted in the mouth.

The optimized recipes for Ivysaur and Budew were more complex; she added trace amounts of specific herbal essences, which she had screened to stabilize energy flow and enhance energy activity, respectively.

The machine hummed, and three types of pokéblocks were fresh out of the oven.

Turtwig’s “Newborn Version” wafted with milky and fruity scents; Ivysaur’s “Steady Version” was dark green with leaf vein patterns, with a calm aura; Budew’s “Precision Version” was pink and green, with a faint floral scent.

During lunch, they tried the new products; Turtwig couldn’t get enough of its exclusive block and let out a small burp after eating, the sapling on its head looking even more spirited.

Ivysaur and Budew also gave good feedback, with smoother energy absorption.

Lucy recorded the tasting feedback with satisfaction and decided to go to town in the afternoon to buy a small label printer to make ingredient labels for the pokéblocks with different formulas.

Before leaving, she instructed Ivysaur and Budew: “Take your younger brother to play in a safe place, get some sun, and don’t let it get too tired.”

“Ivysaur!” (Don’t worry!)

“Budew!” (Got it!)

When Lucy returned from town, she saw a heartwarming scene: Ivysaur was lying on the corner platform sunbathing, Turtwig was sleeping soundly beside the plant cluster on its back, its little head nodding as it dozed off.

Budew was staying in the shade practicing energy control, looking up at them from time to time.

Lucy didn’t approach immediately, just stood there watching.

In the evening, Lucy gave Turtwig its first bath since birth.

The little one was a bit afraid of water, but under Lucy’s soothing and the demonstration by Ivysaur and Budew, it was completed successfully.

After feeding it dinner, Lucy put it into the specially prepared small nest.

The little one had been tired all day, and as soon as its head touched the soft pad, it fell asleep, emitting a thin “Turtwig” snore.
