Turtwig was the first to wake up.

It poked its head out of its little nest, its obsidian-like eyes darting around: “Turtwig?” (Is it dawn?) The little sapling on its head stood straight, its leaves leaning towards the window.

Ivysaur was still sleeping in the corner, the plant cluster on its head rising and falling gently with its breath.Full novel: Pokemon: I Became a Farmer with the Voice of All Things — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Budew was already awake, practicing energy sensing on the morning dew on the windowsill—this was homework assigned by Lucy, letting it feel the rhythm of the dew evaporating with its petals.

“Budew?” (Is Turtwig awake?) Budew jumped off the windowsill, walked to the side of the nest, and gently tapped its forehead with its leaf, “Budew~” (Good morning~)

“Turtwig!” (Morning!) Turtwig happily rubbed against its leaf, its gaze drifting towards the door, “Turtwig?” (Want to go out and play?)

It still remembered the vast farm it had seen yesterday, full of the scent of soil and greenery.

Budew looked at Lucy, who was preparing breakfast, then glanced at the sleeping Ivysaur, and nodded: “Budew.” (I’ll take you for a walk, but we can’t run too far.)

Turtwig immediately scrambled out of the nest clumsily, moving its short little legs quickly, following closely behind Budew.

Budew walked very slowly, stopping from time to time to wait for it, and even used its leaf to help it push open the slightly high threshold.

“Budew.” (This is the cabbage field.) Budew pointed to the neat vegetable rows, “Budew Budew.” (We have to weed them and chase away the bugs.)

Turtwig leaned close to the cabbage, sniffed it with its nose, and gently touched the leaves with its little claw: “Turtwig!” (It’s cool!) It stared at the soil beneath its feet and couldn’t help but dig a small hole.

“Budew!” (You can’t just dig around!) Budew quickly used its leaf to stop it, “Budew Budew.” (The soil is for the vegetables to grow; it won’t be good if you dig it up.)

Turtwig withdrew its claw, seeming to understand, though its eyes were still shining as it stared at the soil.

Budew also took it to visit the radish field, the bean trellis, and the Berry forest hanging full of fruit.

Ivysaur was patrolling the edge of the forest, its Vine Whip occasionally lashing out to knock down a few withered leaves.

“Ivysaur~” (Morning~) Ivysaur greeted them from afar, not coming over to disturb them.

“Turtwig!” (Morning, Ivysaur!) Turtwig waved its little claw excitedly.

Finally, Budew took it to the edge of the pond: “Budew.” (There is water over there, and also Lotad friends, be careful not to fall in.)

“Turtwig!” (Water!) Turtwig was both excited and a little scared; the memory of its bath yesterday was still fresh.

By the side of the pond, five Lotad were lying on lily pads sunbathing. Find the original chapter at g.com.

“Lotad!” (Budew is here!) One Lotad spotted them first and called out happily.

The others also looked up: “Lotad Lotad!” (And a new friend!)

Turtwig cautiously approached the water’s edge, looking at its reflection in the water: “Turtwig?” (Is this me?)

“Lotad!” (It’s you!) The Lotad closest to the shore used its leaf to ripple the water, making the reflection move, which made Turtwig laugh “Turtwig Turtwig”.

Budew scooped up some water with its leaf and sprinkled it on Turtwig’s back: “Budew.” (Are you hot?)

“Turtwig~” (Feels good~) Turtwig narrowed its eyes, and the little sapling on its head shivered as well.

The Lotad gathered around, taking turns touching Turtwig’s claws with their leaves or spraying a fine mist of water.

Turtwig was a little nervous at first, but slowly relaxed, even using its nose to touch the Lotad’s leaves.

“Lotad Lotad!” (It’s so cute!)

“Turtwig!” (You guys are fun too!)

Just then, on the largest lily pad in the center of the pond, the Lotad that had been lying quietly suddenly began to glow.

The light was soft, carrying a cool aura; its figure slowly elongated, the leaf on its head became larger and thicker, serrations appeared on the edges, and the leaf stalk grew longer.

Its eyes became much more lively than before.

A few seconds later, the light faded, and the original Lotad had turned into a slightly larger Pokémon, with a more graceful and powerful leaf on its head, and a deeper shade of blue on its body.

It blinked, tried waving its leaf, and let out a clear cry: “Lombre?”

Budew and Turtwig on the shore, as well as the four Lotad in the water, were all stunned.

“Budew?!” (It evolved?!) Budew’s bud opened slightly, full of surprise.

“Turtwig?” (It changed its look?) Turtwig tilted its head, looking puzzled.

“Lotad?!” (Boss?!) The four Lotad reacted, swimming over one after another to touch it with their leaves, “Lotad Lotad!” (You look so cool!)

Lombre quickly adapted to its new body, looked down at itself, and then looked towards the shore: “Lombre~” (Feels good~) It jumped into the water, swam to the shore, and propped its body up with its forelimbs: “Lombre?” (I didn’t scare you, did I?)

Turtwig leaned in, staring at the large leaf on its head: “Turtwig?” (Can I sit on it?)

“Lombre!” (Sure!) Lombre lowered its head so Turtwig could reach the leaf.

Turtwig touched it with its claw, finding it thick and resilient, and happily called out “Turtwig”.

The other four Lotad gathered around it, asking “Lotad Lotad” about the feeling of evolution, whether it hurt, and if its strength had increased.

Lombre answered patiently, occasionally splashing water, which made everyone dodge and laugh.

At this moment, Lucy and Ivysaur followed the sound over.

Ivysaur spotted Lombre at a glance and waved its Vine Whip happily: “Ivysaur!” (You evolved!

Congratulations!)

Lucy revealed a surprised smile and walked over quickly: “It’s a Lombre!

That’s great!” She observed carefully, “Its condition is very good, its energy is stable, and the evolution was very successful.”

“Lombre!” (Thank you everyone!) Lombre puffed out its chest, “Lombre!” (I can help with more things from now on!)

“Then from now on, the Lotad Squad will be renamed ‘Lombre and Lotad Squad’.” Lucy laughed, “You be the leader and lead everyone to work well.”

“Lombre!” (No problem!) Lombre nodded vigorously, and the other four Lotad also supported it with “Lotad Lotad”.

Turtwig crawled to Lombre’s side and rubbed its head against its forelimb: “Turtwig!” (Congratulations!)

“Lombre~” (Thank you, Turtwig~) Lombre gently stroked its back with its leaf.

At breakfast, Lucy specially added extra food, preparing Berry snacks and a newly formulated nutritious drink for all the Pokémon.

The large wooden board outside served as a dining table, and it was extremely lively.

Ivysaur was slowly eating the “Steady Type” pokéblock, Budew was nibbling on the “Precision Type” in small bites, and Turtwig was hugging the “Newborn Type” and chewing until its face was covered in crumbs.

Lombre shared water-type snacks with its companions, the “Lombre” and “Lotad” Growls rising and falling one after another.
