As the school bus pulled away, Lucas gradually calmed down.

Having come from an age of information overload, his ability to adapt was naturally exceptional.

Since he was already here, he might as well make the best of it.Full novel: Pokémon Era: Starting with Palkia — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

They were about to summon Pokémon, weren’t they?

He could only wait and see what kind of Pokémon he would summon.

The moment that thought crossed his mind, a strange streak of light flashed through his consciousness.

A cold, mechanical voice echoed inside his mind.

“Traveler’s Benefit Activated: Eye of Insight.” “!!!” Lucas suddenly noticed streams of luminous data flickering across his vision.

His eyesight instantly became far sharper, and at the same time, rows of information appeared floating above everyone’s heads.

Ethan Physique: 10 Lifespan: 82 Grace Physique: 7 Lifespan: 75 Logan Physique: 9 Lifespan: 74 When he looked at their chubby homeroom teacher, another panel appeared.

Henry Physique: 12 Lifespan: 111 Trainer Rank: Two-Star Trainer Summoned Pokémon: Geodude Wait…

Was this the special cheat ability every transmigrator was supposed to have?

While still in shock, Lucas looked at himself.

Lucas Physique: 8 Lifespan: 75 Exclusive Skill: Eye of Insight “…” Compared to everyone else, his body seemed somewhat frail.

Then again, that wasn’t surprising.

According to the memories he had inherited, he hadn’t been born into a wealthy family in this world.

His family merely scraped by above the poverty line.

They never lacked food, but his physical condition had always been worse than that of his peers.

Still, that wasn’t a problem.

With the knowledge of a transmigrator and enough hard work, he was confident he could change everything.

As his thoughts wandered, Lucas shifted his gaze toward his teacher’s Geodude.

He wanted to see what a Pokémon’s status panel looked like.

Geodude Level: 11 (Two-Star Pokémon) Aptitude: Common Type: Rock, Ground Ability: Sturdy Moves: Tackle, Defense Curl, Mud Sport After reading the panel, the only things that confused Lucas were the Level and Aptitude categories.

According to the memories he had inherited, the Federation classified Pokémon into six star ranks.

Levels 1–10 were One-Star Pokémon.

Levels 11–20 were Two-Star Pokémon.

And so on, all the way to Six-Star Pokémon.

A Trainer’s rank corresponded directly to the highest-star Pokémon they possessed, ranging from One-Star Trainer to Six-Star Trainer.

At present, the strongest person in the Federation was a Six-Star Trainer.

Whenever an ordinary person successfully summoned a Pokémon and advanced it to a higher star rank, their own physique and lifespan would also increase accordingly.

That explained why Henry, despite being only a Two-Star Trainer, possessed such an extraordinarily long lifespan.

As for Physique, it appeared to represent a person’s overall physical fitness, constitution, and genetic Aptitude.

Then there was Aptitude.

According to the Eye of Insight, Pokémon Aptitude was divided into five grades, from lowest to highest: Common Elite Rare Pseudo-Legendary Legendary However, in the memories Lucas had inherited, no such evaluation system existed in this world.

In other words, to the vast majority of people, there was no way to distinguish between a Common, Elite, or Rare Pokémon.

They only knew that the higher a Pokémon’s star rank, the stronger it was in battle.

Thinking this over, Lucas couldn’t help feeling nervous.

Would he successfully summon a Pokémon?

And if he did…

Which one would it be?

Surely, as a transmigrator, he couldn’t be unlucky enough to fail the summoning altogether.

Lost in thought, he soon arrived at the Pokémon Center with the rest of the class.

The Pokémon Center was especially crowded today.

Besides Trainers, countless parents had also gathered, surrounding the building several layers deep, much like the atmosphere outside a college entrance examination center.

Everyone wanted to know as soon as possible whether their child had successfully summoned a Pokémon.

The Pokémon Center here was nothing like the one Lucas remembered from his previous life.

First of all, its sheer size was astonishing.

The Pokémon Centers he remembered were only about the size of a hotel.

The one before him, however, resembled an enormous palace fortress.

A grand staircase of white marble stretched upward, nine levels high and wide enough for two people to walk side by side.

At the very top stood a majestic ceremonial platform, where a massive bronze incense burner continuously released wisps of pale smoke.

Rather than being irritating, the fragrance was refreshing and instantly cleared the mind.

The interior was even more magnificent.

Lavishly decorated hallways branched in every direction into different departments.

With a quick glance, Lucas spotted the Medical Service Center, Hotel Service Center, Trading Center, and the Pokémon Summoning Hall.

The Pokémon Center provided paid services for healing Pokémon and Trainers alike, as well as accommodations.

Summoning a Pokémon, however, was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

That was why every student was so anxious about whether they would succeed today.

“Please line up according to your number.

First up…

Ryan!” “Here!” The boy whose name had been called walked nervously toward a large hexagonal crystal platform.

He had been overflowing with excitement on the way here, but now that the moment had finally arrived, he couldn’t help becoming anxious.

His mind went completely blank.

“Please relax a little,” a nurse from the Pokémon Center said gently with a warm smile.

“Chansey, Chansey~” The Chansey beside her softly sang a soothing melody to calm the student’s nerves.

Sing was normally a move that put its target to sleep.

However, when carefully controlled, it could instead become a comforting lullaby that eased tension and healed the heart.

Pokémon Center nurses were usually Trainers who had summoned Pokémon with exceptional healing talents, such as Happiny, Igglybuff, or Cleffa.

The young nurse standing before them was one such example.

The Pokémon she had summoned years ago had been a Happiny.

The moment she summoned it, representatives from the Pokémon Center had immediately invited her to join their organization as a Pokémon nurse.

After she accepted, the Federation’s Pokémon Association promptly rewarded her with a special item—the Oval Stone.

That was how her Happiny had eventually evolved into the Chansey now standing faithfully at her side.
