After Xia Chi coaxed Sprigatito into pressing its tiny paw onto the “three-rule treaty” paper, leaving a little plum-blossom print, the fully healed and energized Sprigatito looked eagerly out the window once more.

Its intention was clear as day.

Xia Chi smiled and nodded.

“Go on.

Just make sure you’re back before dinner.” “Meow-fee!” With a cheerful cry, Sprigatito leapt out of the window in a few bounds and vanished from Xia Chi’s sight.

*Why jump through the window when there’s a perfectly good door?

What kind of habit is that?* Grumbling internally, Xia Chi opened his computer and began editing videos.

This wasn’t a recording of last night’s stream.

To put it bluntly, if Xia Chi were to start editing stream highlights now, he’d be so late he wouldn’t even get a warm bite of the hype.

Last night’s battle with Raihan was already plastered all over the internet.

Opening any video app’s trending section was guaranteed to yield search results.

The commentary from clickbait accounts was getting more ridiculous by the second.

“The Internet Collapses: The strongest trainer under the Champion was forced to forfeit by a relative nobody in a realistic Pokémon battle!

Let’s see what happened in last night’s world-shaking match…” “Galarians wake up to a collapsed sky!

Their strongest Gym Leader, Raihan, was actually driven to red-hot rage and broke down against an unknown minor streamer using an unevolved Pokémon…” Complete with the same old trashy background music, AI voiceovers, and giant news-style banner text fit for senior citizens, it was mind-numbingly cringeworthy.

Xia Chi genuinely felt they owed him emotional distress compensation just for watching.

Anyway, back to the point.

As mentioned before, before his streaming career took off, Xia Chi was a minor content creator in the Pokémon history niche.

Back then, he chose this niche for two reasons: first, to drive traffic to his live streams; second, before his system arrived, his dream was to become the Cynthia of the Pokémon mythology world.

*Wait, no.

The Cynthia of the Pokémon mythology world is still just Cynthia…* In any case, he wanted to make a name for himself in this field, and making these videos during his school days was the perfect way to get started.

*** This world’s Pokémon mythology had quite a few missing links.

This was the best low-cost way to build up a brand that Xia Chi could find after transmigrating to this world three years ago.

Specifically, building up the “account” of his own life—the ultimate lifelong playthrough.

His plan back then was simple: emulate the video format of a top-tier history content creator from his previous world.

He would use humorous and exaggerated storytelling to weave together a mix of official and unofficial regional history, along with anecdotes about Legendary Pokémon.

He would become the Khan of Tongliao of the Pokémon world!

In truth, although the Pokémon franchise itself was kid-friendly and suitable for all ages, its mythological framework was full of dark, deep, and heavy themes like religious allegories and tragic epics.

Picking any region’s lore was enough to talk about for ages.

For instance, the tragic entanglement of AZ, the last king of the ancient Kalos Kingdom, and Floette; the Ultimate Weapon and the Eternal Flower; or the world-ending legends of Yveltal.

Or the creation legends of Kyurem in the Unova Kingdom, and the catastrophic collapse caused by the clash between the ideals of truth and ideals.

And so on.

Some of these were things people in this world already knew, while others were secrets buried deep in history.

Xia Chi would selectively apply some artistic polish to them, presenting them to his audience in a narrative style akin to a novel.

Unsurprisingly, these legends of Mythical and Legendary Pokémon, blending official lore and speculation so seamlessly that they became indistinguishable, caught many people’s attention.

Some treated his videos as brainless entertainment to watch with dinner, while others approached them with a rigorous academic spirit to nitpick and criticize.

Xia Chi didn’t care either way—conflict brings traffic, after all.

He just threw on the armor of a “This video has been artistically modified; any resemblance to real events is purely coincidental” disclaimer, and he was good to go.

As for how much of it was actual history and how much was creative liberty, only Xia Chi himself knew.

In any case, to date, the first video in this series, *Secrets of the Burned Tower in the Kanto Region: The Truth of the Mysterious Fire and the Resurrection of the Legendary Beasts*, had already racked up over three million views.

Honestly, achieving these numbers on P-Station was no small feat.

Because the event took place only about two hundred years ago, and the destruction of the Burned Tower was a household legend in this world.

Fortunately, the lack of historical records regarding the truth behind the mysterious fire left Xia Chi with plenty of creative freedom.

So, he chose the most conspiracy-theory-heavy possibility he knew of: an evil organization’s plan to create Legendary Pokémon.

It wasn’t completely made up, either; this plot point actually existed in a certain spin-off game of the Pokémon series in his past life.

Later, drawing from his memories of his previous world, Xia Chi made videos on Lugia, the Legendary Birds, and others.

Even now, with Xia Chi posting only about once a month, many loyal fans still pestered him for updates in his live-stream chat daily.

Xia Chi had no intention of abandoning this series.

His original career plan was quite solid, and as long as he had the time and energy, there was no reason to drop it.

Besides, Xia Chi wasn’t the type to immediately forget his roots the moment he got a system.

Having wrapped up his busy schedule over the past couple of days—including the system reboot and catching Sprigatito—he began preparing this month’s update, which would also mark the beginning of a new series.

The creation myth of the Sinnoh region.

Although from a philosophical and real-world reflective standpoint, the mythological background of this generation wasn’t quite as deep as those of Unova, Kalos, or even Galar, the grand epic setting of Arceus creating the universe was incredibly epic.

Of course, this world had myths and legends related to it, but they were completely fragmented, with no surviving historical documents.

This led the mainstream academic community to still view Arceus as a mythical totem Pokémon similar to the “dragon” of Xia Chi’s previous world, rather than a real, existing creator god.

The reason was simple: since the invention of photography, no one had ever captured actual footage of Arceus.

As a transmigrator possessing a god’s-eye view from another world, Xia Chi naturally knew Arceus was real.

But to the people of this world, it was merely an idol fictionalized by ancient humans for worship.

Xia Chi didn’t plan on adding much artistic fluff to this video, because the legend itself was already awe-inspiring enough.

Using its thousand arms to create the Creation Trio to govern time, space, and antimatter; creating the Lake Guardians to bestow wisdom, emotion, and willpower unto all living things; and creating the sixteen elemental plates to grant diversity to the world.

Then, the conflict between the deities of time and space nearly shattered the Sinnoh region.

Arceus descended upon the Spear Pillar to quell the war and banished the violent Giratina to the Distortion World.

In the midst of their battle, Arceus casually created the Lava Dome Pokémon, Heatran, while the ruins of the Spear Pillar went on to form the Mt.

Coronet range, the most magnificent mountains in the world…

He would polish this with a religious, epic narrative style reminiscent of the Bible.

It was easy to foresee that once this video dropped, it would become another viral sensation for Xia Chi’s account.

Furthermore, looking at the long-term impact: when the history of Arceus creating the universe was eventually proven in the future, the credibility of this video would skyrocket to astronomical heights.

And he, the creator, would become a legendary prophet wrapped in mystery.

Therefore…

Restoring the glory of Great Sinnoh is our bounden duty!
