The very moment Zeus and Kronos were locked in a life-and-death battle—
Inside Kronos’ stomach, Poseidon and his siblings were pounding on the walls.
“Hey. Hades, we’re supposed to hit at the same time.”
“You get yourself together, blockhead. I told you to match me exactly.”
“Crazy bastard.”
“Hey, you two idiots. Stop fighting and keep hitting. Can’t you see us women are working hard too?”
“Hah! Are you saying a woman has better stamina than me? Hera, I think you should stand next to me and throw your fists as well.”
“What did you just say!!!”
“Honestly, Hades, stop provoking Hera and get back to work. This might be our last chance to get out. Hera, stop blowing up too.”
At Demeter’s calm words, both Hades and Hera returned their focus.
More important than their feelings was the task at hand. And truthfully, neither Hades nor Hera was being serious in the first place.
Doom doom doom doom doom doom—
Meanwhile, outside—
“Mother, this sound—”
“Yes. It seems my children are exerting their power inside Kronos’ stomach.”
Rhea wiped a few tears at the booming echoes, then stared coldly at Kronos and drew a magic formation.
“Metis, assist me. We must amplify the impact from within.”
“Yes.”
Meanwhile, Kronos, who was pouring his full power into subduing Zeus as quickly as possible, froze when he heard the drumming from inside.
If such force was possible in a body whose time he had stopped, then his children were far stronger than he predicted.
The Zeus flailing before him was laughable—but if he had to face the children inside his stomach as well, even he might be in danger.
“Tch—”
In the end, Kronos poured even more power into suppressing his stomach.
As a result, Zeus gained a bit more space to move.
Not enough to strike a meaningful blow, of course.
“Hahaha, looks like my brothers and sisters are making things lively inside your belly, Father.”
Hmph—Zeus tossed aside the already-broken sword hilt and swung his shield.
“Fool. And what do you think that will accomplish? You cannot do anything.”
Slash—
Although Kronos’ sickle was still terrifying, Zeus at least had slightly more room to breathe.
Every time he tried to slip into the opening created by the swing of the sickle, his body would slow down.
The only fortunate part was that the sickle’s retracting speed had slowed a bit too.
Of course, Zeus was still barely dodging.
Kronos was distracted—first by Zeus lasting longer than expected, and second by the chaos happening in his stomach.
That distraction meant he did not notice the magic Rhea and Metis were weaving.
“Father, I am not alone. Unlike you, I have many who help me.”
“What!?”
By the time Kronos noticed the magic, it was too late.
The spell had already completed, spreading across all of the palace so that Kronos could not evade it with time manipulation.
“Rheaaaaaaa!!!”
Rhea and Metis’ magic engulfed Kronos, and the medicine whose effect he had held back with his time-stopping ability activated once more.
Uweeeeeeeehk!!!
The violent interaction between the magic and the pharmakon overwhelmed Kronos completely.
Finally, with a convulsive retch, out came Hades, Hera, Demeter, Hestia—
and last, Poseidon, holding the stone Kronos had swallowed.
“Hahaha! So this is the air outside.”
“Poseidon, you’re being way too excited. And why did you bring that useless rock?”
“Hera, don’t be mean to Wilson. He spent all those years with us.”
“Tsk. Lacks divine dignity. As I always say, your behavior is embarrassingly frivolous.”
“Hades, it’s still better than that shitty pompous way you talk.”
“You brat—!”
“You’re really doing this even after getting outside? Can’t you see the situation?”
“Demeter, don’t get too angry. Actually, you look energized—it’s good, right?”
“Hestia, you spoil Poseidon too much.”
The five of them radiated overwhelming presence the moment they appeared.
Zeus, bleeding, barely managed to catch his breath after finally gaining some space.
Kronos, writhing in agony from the vomit and the pharmakon.
Rhea and Metis, exhausted from casting a grand spell strong enough to affect the King of the Gods.
Even they were dumbfounded by the siblings’ chaotic, noisy behavior.
Anyone would think so upon seeing these youth-shaped gods with brightly colored hair who seemed more relaxed than anyone in the current situation.
‘So this must be the moment Zeus made Kronos swallow the medicine with Rhea’s help? But that blond guy looks like Zeus, so why is he bleeding that badly?’
Despite his mischievous façade, Poseidon grasped the situation faster than anyone.
He saw the blond Zeus gasping for air, and Kronos still vomiting bile-like fluid.
And one of those two tired women over there—very likely their mother Rhea.
Once Poseidon finished surveying his surroundings, Zeus called out:
“Oh, my brothers and sisters, I am Zeus, your youngest. Help me to overthrow our wicked father who sought to oppress and kill us.”
Even as he asked for help, Zeus felt nervous.
His siblings looked far stronger than he had imagined.
Sure, he alone had learned of his destiny from the outside world and trained accordingly—but for some reason he felt outclassed by them.
“What the fuck? What’s with that shitty way of speaking? Is there another Hades?”
“You wretch, Poseidon, I told you to stop using those crude, indecent words.”
“How can it be indecent if you can’t even understand it, dumbass.”
“You little bastard!!!”
Hearing Zeus’ pompous tone, Poseidon was horrified that there was another Hades-like idiot in the world.
He understood the situation now—but no matter what, newborn-looking young gods using pretentious adult speech was absurdly awkward.
Look—Hades always snapped back into age-appropriate speech whenever he got mad.
That meant these idiots were either terminally stuck in “edgy middle-school syndrome,” or were born completely addicted to authority.
Well, considering Grandpa Uranus and Father Kronos—just looking at their behavior in mythology told you everything.
“Tsk tsk, it’s because you weren’t taught properly. With a father like Kronos over there, what else could one expect….”
Zeus froze at Poseidon’s sudden barrage.
Until now, anyone hearing his dignified, formal tone always accepted it.
But his siblings—and even the sisters—were unimpressed, scrunching their faces.
They seemed far more concerned about stopping their brothers’ sudden fight.
“Uh… we… we’re supposed to defeat Father first….”
Zeus’ voice gradually shrank.
They needed to attack their father, who still hadn’t come to his senses from Gaia’s magic—but being ignored for the first time made him lose confidence.
The nymphs, the nurses, the maidens on the island—Metis—everyone had treated him as a savior.
Seeing her beloved Zeus’s lost expression, Rhea and Metis couldn’t endure it any longer.
“Brothers, now is not the time for this. We must defeat Kronos immediately. The Titans will arrive soon. Hurry and help Zeus attack him.”
Metis stroked Zeus comfortingly, but addressed his siblings with strong, scolding force.
She was annoyed that they had ignored Zeus, so her tone became harsher.
“What? And who do you think you are speaking so arrogantly? How dare you interfere in our siblings’ matters.”
Hera’s temper flared instantly.
She had been watching Poseidon and Hades bicker in exasperation—but Metis’ words irritated her even more.
Hera began releasing magical power.
As the daughter who inherited Rhea’s blood the strongest, and the one destined to be the Queen of the Gods, her magic was far beyond anything the so-called goddess of wisdom Metis could handle.
And because Hera usually used her power to punish Poseidon, all her calibration was based on Poseidon—
Who, unlike the myth, was already half awakened to his true divine name and whose physical ability could rival Atlas, the strongest Titan punished to hold up the heavens.
Her second calibration reference was Hades—who had gotten stronger by reacting to Poseidon.
Meaning: all siblings who had sparred with Poseidon inside Kronos’ stomach had also naturally grown monstrous.
As Hera’s magic activated, Metis panicked.
Even her “wisdom” could not account for their strength. She hadn’t imagined she might die here because of a misjudgment.
At that moment, Rhea blocked Hera’s magical force.
BOOOOM—
“Haa… even though she’s my daughter, she’s incredible. She’s not even using proper magic yet, and her raw power is already at this level.”
Rhea, exhausted, but still easily blocking the attack of a Hera stronger than in the original myth, apologized to Hera.
(She, like Kronos, was a Queen who ruled the Titans—Hera was not yet comparable.)
“She intervened in your matter because she meant no harm. She simply desperately wished for Kronos to be overthrown.”
Hera looked at Rhea with displeasure.
She, Demeter, Hestia, and even her damned brat brother Poseidon, and the gloomy creepy Hades—
All of them had agreed not to acknowledge their parents.
So suddenly being told to help the youngest brother defeat Kronos—their father—evoked no emotion whatsoever.
Especially when it was coming from a mother she was seeing for the first time.
Just then, an arm slung lightly around Hera’s shoulders.
It was Poseidon—the handsome, lively blue-haired brother.
“Hera, what are you thinking about so seriously? You look like you did right before doing something unpleasant.”
“Poseidon, are you done fighting already?”
“No. Hahaha. I just came because my sister was frowning.”
“Hmph! You always say the right thing.”
“Hera, you overthink things. First, we beat up Father for swallowing us. If necessary, we beat up any god who gets in our way too.”
“Tsk. That’s you being too light-headed. …Still, I’ve sorted my thoughts.”
Hera felt her mind settle at Poseidon’s words. After all, all the training they’d done had been for revenge anyway.
Hera ignored Rhea’s words completely and looked at her youngest “brother.”
He looked exactly like the womanizing type she hated—but considering he did help free them, she could at least acknowledge that.
“You there. Blond.”
“Eh? Me?”
“Yes, you, the dim-witted one. Get up. From now on, we must take revenge on our father, who is slowly regaining consciousness. I shall allow you to participate—purely because you are technically our youngest brother and contributed to freeing us.”
Zeus blinked dumbly, nodding—and then a thought struck him.
If they were going to do this anyway, they should’ve attacked Father while he still couldn’t move.
When Zeus said this aloud—Hera exploded again.
“How dare you propose such a cowardly act to me, Hera, and my siblings?!”
