7 – He Really Took Her First Time

Somehow, Fu Jingxiao’s mind conjured up Luo Xingchen’s face.

The veiled girl’s eyes did bear some resemblance to Luo Xingchen’s.Full novel: President Fu, Madam Spent 100 Billion Telling You to Get Lost — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

But thinking of how Luo Xingchen had behaved over the past two years, Fu Jingxiao quickly dismissed the thought.

The woman who had saved him was a formidable martial artist, while Luo Xingchen was someone who couldn’t lift a finger at home—whenever there was any heavy work, she would sweetly and softly ask him to help. How could she possibly possess such impressive martial arts skills?

Besides, if Luo Xingchen were really that skilled, why hadn’t she fought back when he forcibly kissed her that afternoon?

“What a fool. A master like her wouldn’t care about money.”

“You should have first asked for her name, investigated her privately, then catered to her interests, and finally won her over so she’d willingly work for you.”

Just as Fu Jingxiao was reflecting on how he had used the wrong strategy and lost a valuable ally, a gust of wind suddenly rose, and a piece of paper flew straight into his face.

Fu Jingxiao picked up the paper stuck to his face and read its contents, a thoughtful look flashing in his eyes.

It was a skincare formula for whitening and beautifying, written in elegant, graceful handwriting—the work of someone clearly refined and intelligent.

Xiao Kai, who had rushed over at top speed, saw the masked men in black lying all over the ground and gave Fu Jingxiao a shocked thumbs-up.

“Boss, please accept your humble servant’s kneeling submission. The Ghost Face Flower assassins are reputed to be the most troublesome killers out there, yet you took down dozens of them in one go. With a physique as powerful as a T-Rex, I’m in awe, truly in awe.”

“Is the cargo safe?” Fu Jingxiao shot a cold glance at the flattering Xiao Kai, folded the formula paper, and tucked it into the inner pocket of his suit, closest to his heart.

“It’s already safely at sea,” Xiao Kai said solemnly.

“Good.” Fu Jingxiao started to walk, but after just two steps, a searing pain in his calf made him stagger forward.

Xiao Kai quickly grabbed Fu Jingxiao’s arm, keeping him from falling to the ground.

“Boss, you’re injured! Let me take you to the hospital,” Xiao Kai said anxiously.

“No need. If Zhan the Madman finds out I’m injured, he’ll know I was the one who hijacked the cargo. It’s just a minor wound—I’ll treat it at home.”

……

Back home, Fu Jingxiao treated the wound on his leg and went up to the bedroom. Looking at the room, which had been smashed up like a disaster scene, he recalled what had happened at the Civil Affairs Bureau entrance and Luo Xingchen’s performance at the sports meet, a flicker of complexity passing through his deep, handsome eyes.

After surveying the bedroom for a while, Fu Jingxiao turned to leave.

But as he turned, the corner of his eye caught a patch of dark red on the large bed, and his deep eyes suddenly lit up.

The plum-blossom-shaped stain on the white bedsheet told him that Luo Xingchen hadn’t lied that morning—last night, he had indeed taken her first time.

He had not been cuckolded within his marriage by Luo Xingchen.

It was Luo Xingchen and that man in green clothes and green hat from this morning who had lied to deceive him.

Thinking that Luo Xingchen’s first time belonged to him, Fu Jingxiao felt an inexplicable, indescribable lightness in his heart.

Just then, his phone rang, startlingly loud in the quiet bedroom.

Fu Jingxiao took out his phone, and upon seeing the name on the screen, his slightly upturned lips immediately pressed into a serious line.

“Axiao, I just had a nightmare. I dreamed you were trapped in a raging fire, and no matter how hard I pulled, I couldn’t move you. I was terrified—I cried in utter despair…”

When he was ten, Fu Jingxiao was reading in the school library when, for some unknown reason, a fire suddenly broke out. By the time he fled to the library door, he found it locked from the outside.

In the thick flames, just as he thought he was going to burn to death, the library door opened.

Qin Mingyue, clutching her homework, stood at the doorway, straining with all her might to drag the nearly unconscious him out of the sea of fire.

“Mingyue, don’t be afraid, I’ll come to the hospital to be with you right away!”

…Fu Corporation!

“Fu, we’ve been investigating for days, but we still can’t find any information on that man in green,” Xiao Kai said in a weak voice.

“It’s normal that we can’t find anything on someone who grew up in a temple convent!”

Fu Jingxiao’s eyes were ice-cold. He had spent two years with Luo Xingchen day and night, and even he hadn’t known she was such an amazing figure skater.

“Should we keep investigating?”

“No need to waste any more time!”

He was already divorced from that woman. Whoever was around her was no longer his business to mind.

Even if he found out, what then?

“Fu, I’d like to take a day off tomorrow!”

“Why?”

“I spent a fortune getting a VIP ticket to the games. I want to go watch Luo Xingchen’s ice dance tomorrow. Her solo skating was so beautiful—her pairs ice dance will be even more stunning!” Xiao Kai said, his face full of anticipation.

She competed in solo skating, and she’s competing in pairs ice dance too?

“You have a lot of work to do tomorrow—no leave. So the ticket doesn’t go to waste, give it to me and I’ll go watch the competition for you!”

Robbed of his ticket, Xiao Kai instantly looked like his soul had left his body.

What do you do when your boss is worth hundreds of billions but still squeezes and bleeds his subordinates dry?

…Olympic Sports Center!

Fu Jingxiao sat in the front row of the VIP stands, wearing a mask and sunglasses. As he watched Luo Xingchen and her male partner on the ice—graceful as a gliding dragon, elegant as a startled swan—effortlessly completing one high-difficulty skating move after another like spirits, his amazement, shock, and awe never faded.

When Luo Xingchen’s pair finished their performance, deafening cheers erupted from the crowd, and even the announcer’s commentary brimmed with excitement and pride.

The results came out quickly, and Luo Xingchen won the championship without dispute.

After receiving her gold medal, Luo Xingchen, surrounded by the other athletes, walked toward where Fu Jingxiao was sitting.

Just as Luo Xingchen was about to reach Fu Jingxiao, a furious voice speaking English rang out.

“You stole Evan’s gold medal and ruined Evan’s dream of a Grand Slam! Go to hell!” the man shouted, hurling his coffee cup at Luo Xingchen.

Seeing this, Fu Jingxiao rushed over without a second thought, pulling Luo Xingchen tightly into his arms.

Instantly, a searing, piercing pain shot across his back, drawing a pained cry from him.

Luo Xingchen’s nose slammed into the zipper of Fu Jingxiao’s jacket, hurting so badly she nearly passed out.

But hearing his pained voice, she ignored the ache in her nose and hurriedly pulled herself out of his arms.

“Are you okay?”

Luo Xingchen looked at the tall man before her with concern. Though he wore sunglasses, she had spent two years with Fu Jingxiao and knew him far too well—she recognized him at a glance beneath the shades.

“Why is it you? Who told you to meddle?”

Luo Xingchen’s voice carried the anger of being held back. When that foreigner had thrown the coffee at her, she could have easily blocked it with the jacket in her hands.

As a result, not only did she end up owing her infuriating ex-husband a favor, but her nose had also been slammed into so much pain.

Was this man trying to save her, or trying to knock her dead?

Seeing the distance and anger in Luo Xingchen’s eyes, Fu Jingxiao felt very displeased.

“I saved you, and this is your attitude? With so many foreigners around, aren’t you afraid people will call you ungrateful and rude?” Fu Jingxiao lowered his head and whispered in Luo Xingchen’s ear.
