“Mother, the censer can’t be thrown out, I want to take it back to look at it!” Seeing that the censer was about to be taken away, Tangtang hurriedly stopped them.

This was the very thing causing the Gu insects inside Big Brother’s tummy to riot—she needed to take it back and examine it carefully.

The items Tangtang requested were prepared in short order. She lay flat on the table, drawing talismans with earnest focus.Full novel: Prince, It’s Bad! Your Daughter Is Throwing Talismans at the Ministers Again — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

By this time, the two imperial physicians had also recovered their senses. Had they misheard?

The Little Commandery Princess was going to remove the Gu for the First Imperial Grandson?

Good Heavens! Just how old was the Little Commandery Princess? She was still a toddler, how could she possibly know how to remove Gu!

“Your Highness, absolutely not! The Little Commandery Princess is still so young—if anything goes wrong, the consequences will be unthinkable!”

“Indeed, Your Highness! The top priority right now is to invite the Grand Master to come and remove the Gu for the First Imperial Grandson!”

Their Imperial Academy of Medicine might not understand, but the Grand Master possessed divine foresight and vast knowledge; he would surely have a way to eradicate the Gu insects from the First Imperial Grandson’s body.

Yun Jingshu’s face turned ash-grey, and she barked angrily, “Silence! My mind is made up!”

The Grand Master?

He enjoyed the imperial court’s salary yet accomplished nothing—not only did he fail to see that Jinhuai had Gu inside him, but he couldn’t even tell that the third boy suffered from Yin-Yang derangement!

Hmph! He was nothing but a useless free-loader and a fraud!

Yun Jingshu took a deep breath, placing her unconditional trust in her daughter.

Even if the Gu insects inside Jinhuai could not be extracted successfully, she was willing to accept the outcome…

“All of you, get out!” Yun Jingshu instructed in a cold voice. “Hongyu, Cuiyu, stand guard at the door—no one is allowed to enter!”

While they were speaking, Tangtang had already finished drawing the Three-Corpse Talisman.

She walked over to Gu Jinhuai’s bed and choked out in a raspy voice, “Big Brother, it will hurt a tiny bit in a moment, so hang in there… Tangtang will blow on it for you in a moment, and then it won’t hurt anymore!”

Tormented by the excruciating pain, Gu Jinhuai’s consciousness was somewhat dazed, but hearing his younger sister’s voice, he still tried his best to open his eyes and give a response.

The room door was gently closed. Yun Jingshu stood quietly to the side, not daring to utter a sound, deeply afraid of disturbing her little daughter.

“Big Brother, open your mouth!” As Tangtang spoke, she stuffed the Three-Corpse Talisman, folded into a triangle, into his mouth, then turned her head toward Yun Jingshu and said, “Mother, make Big Brother hold garlic in both hands, don’t let go!”

Yun Jingshu hurriedly complied, holding Gu Jinhuai’s hands tightly so he couldn’t break free.

“Clear is the Universe, radiant are Sun and Moon! Three Corpses and Nine Worms, all Gu shall perish!” Tangtang chanted under her breath, forming hand seals with both hands and tapping them against Gu Jinhuai’s high-bulging belly.

In an instant, a burst of golden light erupted, swirling around before landing squarely on Gu Jinhuai’s abdomen.

The Gu insects quieted down for a moment, then began to squirm violently once more.

Gu Jinhuai let out a muffled groan of agony, the veins on his forehead throbbing violently.

“Refusing to come out? That’s not up to you!” Tangtang raised her eyebrows, forming hand seals and chanting the spell again.

After a quarter of an hour, right under the watchful eyes of Yun Jingshu and Tangtang, Gu Jinhuai’s abdomen gradually flattened out.

Tangtang’s small legs grew numb from standing for so long, and her tiny body stumbled, nearly tumbling onto the floor.

“Precious darling!” Yun Jingshu let out an exclamation of alarm, catching her in her arms.

“Mother, I’m fine!” Tangtang shook her head tiredly. “Big Brother’s tummy has flattened, but we still need to lure the Gu insects out, or else Big Brother will still be in danger!”

Saying that, she fished a kitchen knife out of her pouch and handed it over. “Mother, use this to cut open the root of Big Brother’s thigh… just leave the rest to me!”

Yun Jingshu: …

There were still vegetable leaves stuck to this kitchen knife, would this really work?

Seeing Yun Jingshu hesitate without taking it, Tangtang thrust the kitchen knife forward a bit more. “Mother, this knife is super sharp!”

This kitchen knife was super expensive and cost lots and lots of copper coins!

If not for having to chop up mice for Yaya to eat all the time, she wouldn’t have been able to bring herself to buy such an expensive kitchen knife!

Yun Jingshu closed her eyes, gritted her teeth, and took the kitchen knife into her hand. “Darling, where do I chop? The root of his thigh, right?”

Seeing her stance, Tangtang’s small face turned even paler from fright. “Mother, don’t chop Brother’s leg off… as long as it bleeds, that’s enough… the Gu insects will run out along the blood…”

Yun Jingshu nodded. Raising her hand, she brought the knife down, and a jet of bright, striking red blood sprayed out.

Caring for nothing else, Tangtang hurriedly poured the rootless water over Gu Jinhuai’s wound, slapped her tiny hand heavily onto his belly, and roared in anger, “Get the hell out for this Great King!”

“Hiss-hiss—” A faint sound echoed out from inside Gu Jinhuai’s tummy, and right after, mother and daughter watched as a clump the size of an adult’s fist slowly wriggled from Gu Jinhuai’s belly down toward the root of his thigh.

Yun Jingshu bit her lip tightly, her eyes fixed unblinkingly on that clump of things.

After half a cup of tea’s time, that clump finally wriggled down to the bleeding wound.

Tangtang pulled out a yellow paper talisman and said softly, “Mother, hide a bit further away!”

Yun Jingshu hurriedly took a few steps back, holding her breath in tension.

“Hiss-hiss—” The squawking hiss of the Gu insects sounded once more, followed immediately by a huge, pitch-black worm with antennae crawling out.

No sooner said than done—Tangtang raised her hand and whipped the paper talisman straight onto the Gu insect’s body. Hearing the Gu insect hiss a few times, it rapidly retreated, attempting to burrow back inside Gu Jinhuai’s body.

Tangtang’s eyes turned icy cold, refusing to give it the chance. “Yaya! Bite it!”

Guarding by the window, Yaya heard her call, flapped its wings, and swooped down toward the Gu insect.

Its sharp beak pecked viciously at the Gu insect’s body, hurting the worm so much that it rolled around on the spot.

Yaya snatched up the Gu insect in its beak, tossed it to the ground, and pinned it down firmly with its claws.

Hmph! Still thinking of running? With Yaya here, not a chance!

“Mother, kitchen knife!” Tangtang emanated a cold aura all over, looking murderously at the limp, squishy Gu insect beneath Yaya’s claws.

The paper talisman actually failed to trap this disgusting, smelly worm—she was going to chop this foul thing up and see just what kind of secret trick was inside!

Tangtang had always been well-behaved and adorable in front of Yun Jingshu, so when had she ever been this fierce?

Stunned, Yun Jingshu handed the kitchen knife over and watched with her own eyes as her little daughter cleaved the Gu insect in two with a single chop.

Squatting on the floor, Tangtang pried open the Gu insect with the kitchen knife, and inside, a yellow paper talisman was unexpectedly revealed.

“Huh? How could there be a paper talisman inside a Gu insect?” Tangtang knit her brows in confusion, reaching out to pick up the paper talisman.

Yun Jingshu was about to stop her when she saw her little daughter leap three feet into the air.

“Bad things! They’re all bad things!” Tangtang stomped angrily on the Gu insect’s corpse twice. “What vicious and insidious methods, using Gu insects as the eye of an array and then poisoning Big Brother with Gu! Tangtang is gonna beat you to death!”

Mother was an array eye, and Big Brother was one too!

Then what about Second Brother and Third Brother?

Tangtang’s chest heaved violently, the bottoms of her eyes a crimson red.

“Darling, darling! Calm down a bit, Mother is right here!” Yun Jingshu scooped up her little daughter in a tight embrace, gently patting her back to soothe her.

Feeling her mother’s warm embrace, Tangtang could no longer hold it in and burst into loud tears with a *wah*.

“Royal Mother… Sister…” Gu Jinhuai weakly raised a single hand. “Could we let the imperial physicians in first to bandage my wound…”

He was afraid that before he could be killed by the Gu insects, he would die from excessive blood loss instead…

After all, that chop with the kitchen knife from his Royal Mother earlier had not been light in the slightest…
