The Photoshopped Video
Hao Yi might not have remembered much about the Zhan Qing the other party had mentioned, but Ding Xuan remembered him vividly. He was the big client who had brought them four hundred twenty thousand. Back when the young master had been driven out of the Hao family and they had been short on money, this Zhan Qing had counted as their benefactor. Though that four hundred twenty thousand had come from selling their goods, Zhan Qing had not taken advantage of their hardship or forced down the price to buy those valuable things, so he absolutely counted as an honorable man, their benefactor.
When the two people at the neighboring table mentioned Zhan Qing’s name, Ding Xuan immediately pricked up his ears and listened to their conversation.
Hao Yi saw his textbook eavesdropping posture and could not help but smile, though he said nothing.
“Of course you wouldn’t know. You only know how to get the project you wanted from Brother Qing, and you don’t care about him at all. If Brother Qing weren’t so generous with people, do you think someone as petty and snobbish as you would be liked by people from these big families?” The woman was furious. It was probably because the man opposite had done something unforgivable before.
The man clearly realized he had done wrong. Hearing the woman’s scolding, he just kept nodding and admitting his mistake.
“Sigh, forget it. It’s no use saying more. Right now, let’s see if we can help Aunt Zhan.” The woman sounded troubled.
“Aunt Zhan is sick. We’re not doctors, so how are we supposed to help?” The man said he was powerless.
“That’s why I said we need to think of a way! Since Brother Qing needs a doctor right now, let’s find one somehow and see whether we can help Brother Qing.” The woman used her chopsticks to knock hard on the man’s head, looking utterly disappointed in his inability to improve.
The man covered his head and hurriedly nodded. “All right, I know. I’ll think of a way to find one.”
Hearing that answer, the woman finally set down her chopsticks in satisfaction. Then she ordered two meals from the owner and sat there waiting for the food to be served.
By then, Ding Xuan had only learned one thing, and that was that Zhan Qing’s mother was sick.
So Ding Xuan silently prayed in his heart for Zhan Qing’s mother, hoping she would recover soon.
The food the two of them had ordered was already on the table. Ding Xuan handed Hao Yi a pair of chopsticks, and the two of them ate the food in their bowls.
After they were full, Ding Xuan returned to the clubhouse parking lot and rode his motorcycle out.
“Young Master, are you riding or am I?” Ding Xuan asked Hao Yi while straddling the motorcycle. He felt that a young master like Hao Yi would surely love to speed.
In the end, the answer shocked him. Hao Yi walked over to the motorcycle and said, “I can’t. You take me.”
“Uh, Young Master, you can’t ride?” Impossible, right? Could it be that because the young master’s family always sent cars to pick him up, he had never learned how to ride?
Ding Xuan could only explain it that way. He hurriedly nodded. “Young Master, get on!”
Hao Yi swung a leg over the seat. Ding Xuan started the motorcycle. Perhaps because Hao Yi was riding with him, Ding Xuan felt a little nervous. Several times the handlebars swerved back and forth, scaring him so badly he broke out in a sweat.
After riding for a stretch, he finally calmed down, and the bike steadied as well.
The two of them rode on with the night wind, wrapped in the bright moonlight as they headed for West Suburb Village……

“Pfft! No way! Peng-ge, are you here to test whether my intelligence is high or low? This video is obviously edited. Do you think I’m blind?” A young man in a beige T-shirt saw the video Murong Peng had brought over and immediately felt like he had been played.
Murong Peng saw that the young man did not believe him and did not even know how to explain. He said, “Young Master Jun, what I’m saying is all true. Hao Yi suddenly became really powerful! Look at my teeth, they were knocked out by one punch from him.”
Chen Jun was the eldest son of the Chen family head. Anyone who knew him called him Young Master Jun. After hearing Murong Peng’s words, he could not help but laugh three times and say, “Peng-ge, if someone bullied you, just tell me who it was. I’ll help you teach that person a lesson. But if you’re saying it was Hao Yi, I don’t buy it! If you’re bored, go find someone else to mess with. I, Chen Jun, don’t have time to sit here and watch some edited video, just a white blur. Do you think that’s some immortal? I’d have to have my head knocked before I’d believe you! Besides, that Hao Yi used to be bullied by us whenever he was running around pantsless as a kid. You’re saying he’s that amazing, who would believe it? He can’t even be bothered to go to the gym, let alone train martial arts!”
After saying that, Chen Jun stood up and left with his bodyguards without even looking at Murong Peng.
Seeing that Chen Jun did not believe him, Murong Peng could only swallow this bitter loss in anger, but in his heart he had already made up his mind that he would never provoke that Hao Yi again.
His instincts told him that he could not afford to offend Hao Yi!
