No breakdown.

No scene.

I walked through the front door, placed my bag down, changed my clothes, and continued my evening routine.

Anyone looking at me would have thought I was perfectly fine.

And that was exactly how I wanted it.

Because people often made one mistake when they looked at me.

They confused silence with weakness.

I wasn’t weak.

I was thinking.

The moment I entered my room, I closed the door behind me.

My expression changed.

Not into sadness.

Into something colder.

I walked toward my desk and picked up my phone.

There was something else bothering me.

Earlier, I had noticed something.

A pattern.

A presence.

Someone had been watching me.

Not openly.

Carefully.

The kind of person who believed they were invisible.

Unfortunately for them…

I noticed everything.

I hadn’t told anyone.

Not even my closest people.

And I certainly didn’t need anyone to tell me.

I had already found the evidence myself.

My eyes narrowed.

Someone is watching me.

A small, almost dangerous smile appeared on my lips.

Fine.

Let them watch.

I unlocked my phone and opened the one place where I didn’t have to pretend.

📱 CHAOS OF JAY 🖤

I typed one message.

Jay:

I’m home.

The replies came almost instantly.

T:

Finally, Love.

Where were you?

R:

You disappeared.

K:

Everything okay, Love?

M:

You took longer than usual.

S:

Love?

C:

Okay, something is definitely wrong.

I stared at the screen.

They knew me too well.

I typed slowly.

Jay:

I’m fine.

Three dots appeared.

Then disappeared.

Then appeared again.

KK:

No.

I raised an eyebrow.

Jay:

No?

KK:

You don’t say “I’m fine” like that unless you’re absolutely not fine.

I sighed.

Of course.

Before I could answer, another message appeared.

PK:

Baby.

One word.

But I knew exactly what it meant.

Tell me.

I stared at his name for a few seconds.

Then another message appeared.

RK:

Baby, what happened?

My fingers stopped.

I didn’t want to tell them everything.

Not because I didn’t trust them.

Because I knew them.

The moment they found out what Section E had done, they wouldn’t just be angry.

They would become dangerous.

And I didn’t want anyone making a stupid decision because of me.

So I gave them only enough.

Jay:

Section E.

The chat went silent.

Three seconds.

Then—

R:

What did they do?

T:

Love.

M:

Tell us.

K:

Who hurt you?

S:

Name.

C:

Jay, what happened?

KK:

Love, don’t protect them.

I stared at the screen.

My expression remained calm.

I began typing.

Jay:

Keifer.

Silence.

Then I continued.

Jay:

He had a plan.

Jay:

He used me.

Jay:

And everyone knew.

I paused.

Then added:

Jay:

They watched it happen.

I didn’t need to explain how much that had hurt.

They already understood.

RK:

They made you feel like you were alone?

I looked at the message.

Jay:

No.

A pause.

Jay:

They made a mistake.

The chat stopped.

I smiled faintly.

Because that was the difference.

I wasn’t sitting in my room crying over what happened.

I was remembering.

Every word.

Every expression.

Every person who had stayed silent.

And I never forgot.

PK:

Baby.

I looked at his message.

PK:

Whatever happens next, you are not facing it alone.

My eyes softened for a moment.

RK:

Never.

KK:

Not once.

T:

Love, we’re here.

K:

Always.

M:

Always.

R:

No matter what.

S:

They don’t get to break you.

C:

Not while we’re here.

I stared at the screen.

A small smile appeared.

This time, it was real.

Jay:

You guys are ridiculous.

Immediately—

T:

Your ridiculous people, Love.

KK:

Correct.

K:

Unfortunately.

M:

Very unfortunately.

I laughed quietly.

Then—

PK:

Good.

I looked at his message.

PK:

That’s the smile we wanted, Baby.

My smile softened.

Then RK appeared.

RK:

Now eat something, Baby.

I rolled my eyes.

Jay:

I’m not hungry.

The entire chat exploded.

ALL:

JAY.

I burst out laughing.

Fine.

Maybe I had missed them.

Maybe they were the only people who could make me forget the chaos for a few minutes.

But while they were busy worrying about me…

My eyes moved toward the security monitor on my desk.

One of the screens showed the street outside.

I stared at it.

Then smiled.

Someone was still watching.

Interesting.

I picked up my phone again.

Jay:

Don’t worry.

KK:

That sounds suspicious.

Jay:

It isn’t.

C:

Jay.

Jay:

I’m handling something.

There was a pause.

Then—

PK:

Baby…

I smiled.

Jay:

Trust me.

A few seconds passed.

PK:

I do.

That was enough.

I put the phone down.

My smile disappeared.

The softness vanished.

And the Mafia Queen inside me woke up.

If someone wanted to watch me…

I’d let them.

For now.

Because sometimes the smartest way to catch a predator…

was to let them believe the prey hadn’t noticed.

The next morning, I walked into Section E like nothing had happened.

My face was calm.

My posture straight.

My steps steady.

And my heart?

Locked.

Not broken.

Locked.

There was a difference.

The moment I entered the classroom, the atmosphere changed.

Everyone went quiet.

Keifer was already there.

I saw him.

He saw me.

For one second, our eyes almost met.

I looked away first.

Not because I was afraid.

Because he no longer deserved my attention.

I walked straight past him.

I didn’t stop.

I didn’t even turn around.

I took my seat.

Opened my notebook.

And started writing.

Silence filled the classroom.

I could feel his eyes on me.

But I ignored him.

Because if Keifer wanted to become a stranger…

I could be very good at treating strangers like they didn’t exist.

Yuri approached first.

Yuri:

“Jay, can we talk?”

I looked up.

My expression was unreadable.

Jay:

“About yesterday?”

he nodded.

Yuri:

“I just wanted to explain—”

Jay:

“You don’t have to.”

he froze.

I lowered my eyes back to my notebook.

Jay:

“I already heard enough.”

Then Ci-N came.

Ci-N:

“Jayjay, please—”

I looked at him.

Jay:

“I’m not angry.”

he looked surprised.

I closed my notebook.

Jay:

“I’m disappointed.”

Silence.

That word hit harder than anger ever could.

One after another, they came.

Eman.

Kit.

Calix.

Blaster.

Edrix.

Eren.

Mayo.

Josh.

Denzel.

Felix.

Rory.

Even David.

Everyone had something to say.

Everyone wanted to explain.

Everyone wanted me to understand their side.

I listened.

Quietly.

Then I looked around the room.

Jay:

“You all knew everything.”

Nobody answered.

Jay:

“That’s enough.”

My voice wasn’t loud.

It didn’t need to be.

I stood.

Jay:

“I don’t need excuses.”

Mayo swallowed.

I continued.

Jay:

“You made your choices.”

I looked toward everyone.

Jay:

“And now I’m making mine.”

Nobody spoke.

My expression became colder.

Jay:

“Don’t mistake my silence for forgiveness.”

The room went completely still.

I picked up my phone.

Jay:

“And don’t mistake my calmness for weakness.”

Then I sat back down.

Conversation over.

My phone vibrated.

I glanced down.

T:

Love, alive?

A smile tugged at my lips.

Jay:

Obviously 😂

M:

And?

How bad is it?

Jay:

Everyone is trying to talk to me.

K:

Ignore them.

R:

Exactly.

S:

You don’t owe anyone a conversation.

C:

Especially not people who hurt you.

I smiled.

Then—

KK:

Love, did you eat breakfast?

I stared at the screen.

Jay:

Why does everyone keep asking me that?

😭

T:

Because you forget.

Jay:

I DO NOT.

M:

You absolutely do.

I covered my mouth to hide my laugh.

Unfortunately…

It was too late.

The classroom had heard me.

I looked up.

Half the room was staring.

I raised an eyebrow.

Jay:

“What?”

Nobody answered.

Mayo finally asked.

Mayo:

“Who are you talking to?”

I smiled.

Jay:

“People who make me smile.”

That answer only created more questions.

Josh:

“Friends?”

I shrugged.

Jay:

“Something like that.”

Denzel:

“Are they from school?”

Jay:

“No.”

Felix:

“Then who?”

I picked up my pen.

Jay:

“Why are you all so curious?”

Silence.

I looked down at my notebook.

Jay:

“Some people make your life heavier.”

A small smile returned.

Jay:

“Some people make it lighter.”

I didn’t explain.

I didn’t need to.

Then my phone vibrated again.

I looked down.

PK:

Baby.

I smiled immediately.

Jay:

What?

PK:

You sound happy.

I paused.

Jay:

Because you guys are annoying.

PK:

That’s not an answer.

Jay:

Maybe I just missed my favorite idiots.

Three seconds later—

K:

BABY MISSED US.

T:

SCREENSHOT THIS.

K:

IMPORTANT HISTORICAL EVENT.

M:

Someone save this message.

I laughed.

And that’s when I noticed Keifer’s expression.

His jaw tightened.

His fingers curled around his pen.

His eyes remained fixed on me.

Jealous.

He couldn’t hide it completely.

Not from someone like me.

I tilted my head slightly.

Jealous?

Interesting.

His eyes moved toward my phone.

Then back to me.

My phone vibrated again.

PK:

Baby, did you eat breakfast?

I immediately smiled.

Jay:

Yes, Kuya.

Don’t start.

PK:

Good.

I’m checking again in ten minutes.

I laughed.

RK:

Baby, ignore him.

He’s acting like your personal alarm clock.

PK:

I heard that.

T:

Love, we’re all taking bets on how long before PK starts lecturing you.

Jay:

Too late 😂

I covered my mouth.

But Keifer saw it.

His eyes darkened.

He looked away.

Then back.

He couldn’t stop himself.

And this time, I caught him.

Our eyes met.

Only for a second.

His expression changed immediately.

I raised one eyebrow.

He looked away.

I almost smiled.

So you do care.

But I didn’t let him see that I had figured it out.

Instead, I turned back to my phone.

Mayo:

“Okay… who is making Jayjay smile like that?”

Josh:

“Definitely someone important.”

Denzel:

“She’s ignoring all of us, but she’s smiling at whoever is texting her.”

Felix:

“Whoever it is, they’re close to her.”

Edrix:

“Very close.”

Yuri looked thoughtful.

Yuri:

“Maybe it’s family?”

Ci-N:

“Then why does she look so happy?”

Nobody answered.

Keifer heard every word.

His jealousy grew with every question.

He wanted to know.

I locked my phone and placed it on my desk.

Then I looked toward Keifer.

He immediately looked down.

Interesting.

I leaned back in my chair.

A small, ruthless smile touched my lips.

He thought he had successfully pushed me away.

Maybe he had.

But he had forgotten something.

I wasn’t the same girl he thought he could protect by breaking her heart.

I didn’t need someone to save me.

I didn’t need someone to decide what was best for me.

And I certainly didn’t need Keifer’s protection.

If danger came for me…

Danger should be worried about me.

I looked across the classroom.

My eyes landed on Keifer.

He looked at me at exactly the same moment.

This time, I didn’t look away.

I held his gaze.

Calm.

Cold.

Unreadable.

Then I smiled.

Not the soft smile I gave ASTRA Team.

Not the playful smile from the chat.

Something different.

A warning.

You wanted distance, Keifer?

You got it.

But don’t expect me to wait for you.

I looked away first.

Not because I had lost.

Because I had already won the only battle that mattered.

I had taken back control of myself.

And somewhere behind my calm expression, another thought remained.

Someone was watching me.

Someone believed they were hidden.

I already knew.

I already had a plan.

And whoever they were…

They had no idea whose attention they had attracted.

Because I wasn’t just Jayjay anymore.

I was the girl they underestimated.

The girl they thought they could hurt.

The girl they thought they could watch without being noticed.

And eventually…

They were going to learn the truth.

You can watch Jayjay. But you don’t get to control her.
