Miao Yang immediately offered a sycophantic smile. “I am not!”

Shi Lan pinched his cheek hard. “You are not?”

Miao Yang’s hands were bound in front of him. He tried to reach up to grab Shi Lan’s arm, nodding vigorously, and said with the utmost sincerity, “I am not rejecting you, Brother Lan. It is just that I have never been with a man before. I am truly afraid.”Full novel: Quick Transmigration: I Got Too Far And Was Surrounded By A Bunch Of Crazy Perverts — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Shi Lan’s expression softened slightly, but it was clear he did not believe it. He gripped Miao Yang’s neck and lifted him up, staring into the youth’s watery eyes with a sinister gaze. “In that case, convince me with your actions.”

Miao Yang was essentially half-lying in Shi Lan’s arms.

Actions?

Shi Lan commanded, “Kiss me.”

Miao Yang: “What?”

Seeing him sitting there in a daze, Shi Lan’s expression turned instantly gloomy. He pinned the stunned Miao Yang onto the bed. He stripped off his coat and tore open his shirt. Just as Miao Yang began to struggle, a cold glint flashed before his eyes, making his body go rigid.

He immediately shrieked, “Ahhh! Okay, okay, I will kiss you! Let us talk things over; there is no need for knives and guns! No need at all.”

Shi Lan knelt on either side of him, lowering his body slightly, holding a sharp dagger to Miao Yang’s throat. “Yang Yang, tell me, who sent you?”

Yang Yang?

Miao Yang suppressed the urge to vomit and cried out his innocence. “I really was sent by Young Master Shen! Why will you not believe me?”

He did not dare move a muscle, terrified that a single slip would result in his death. Blades were indiscriminate. Miao Yang was terrified!

Shi Lan loomed over him, his chest bared. His eight-pack abs were right in front of Miao Yang’s eyes, but he had no heart to appreciate them. The man was using the dagger to lift his chin. Miao Yang’s teeth nearly chattered as he tremblingly tilted his head back.

Shi Lan’s dagger slid down from his chin, coming to rest against the youth’s chest. The blade was incredibly sharp; if Shi Lan had not been controlling the force, it would have surely sliced the youth open. Miao Yang did not even dare to swallow his saliva.

Shi Lan sliced open his shirt. “Oh? Do you think I am so stupid that I would not go to Young Master Shen to verify the situation?”

Miao Yang: “…” Damn it, I forgot about that. His eyes darted around quickly. “I am from the intelligence department. If you could easily find out, why would Young Master Shen send me in the first place? Besides, for my safety, how could my young master possibly tell you the truth?”

The more he spoke, the more he felt like a genius, and his speech became more forceful. “Brother Lan, it is fine if you do not believe me. But why are you so obsessed with whether I belong to Young Master Shen? I am your underling now, following your lead. Given my fighting skills and not-so-bright brain, are you really worried I could stir up any real trouble? If you are, then you probably won’t be able to sit in the seat of the Big Brother for much longer, right?”

Shi Lan tapped Miao Yang’s face with the dagger. The thwack sound made Miao Yang’s scalp crawl. Miao Yang’s bound hands began to shake. Eventually, the blade left a thin cut on his face—not deep, not long, just a small trail of blood. Miao Yang was so tense he did not even feel the pain.

Shi Lan suddenly raised his hand, and the dagger spun in his grasp.

“Ah!” Miao Yang closed his eyes in terror.

He heard a click. His hands felt loose, only to be grabbed again. Miao Yang opened his eyes in fear.

Shi Lan’s eyes were dark. “In that case, now is the time for you to prove yourself, Yang Yang.”

Miao Yang looked at him tremblingly. He realized Shi Lan had not just been talking. Moreover, Miao Yang finally understood that this man had never believed him from the very beginning.
