“Brother Du, have some water.” Du Chengfeng had just finished an intense training session and had barely picked up his towel when a cup of water was already held out in front of him, the cap already twisted open.

It turned out Su Yue had seized the opening, as soon as Du Chengfeng took the cup of water, she smoothly took the towel from his other hand, leaving him stunned for a moment, though he said nothing.

He took a sip of water and found the temperature just right. To become an excellent boxer, watching what you consumed was essential. He never drank carbonated drinks, nor cold water, but drinking hot water on a scorching day, on top of the extra body heat right after training, was practically torture. But now it was different.Full novel: Quick Transmigration: She Has No Bottom Line in Her Pursuit of Beauty and Strength — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Favorability +3

Su Yue was thrilled, the favorability had finally come. It wasn’t for nothing that she’d racked her brain to figure out that warm water was the most comfortable thing to drink on a hot day.

She glanced at the towel in her hand, then in the next second dashed off like the wind, and just as quickly dashed back like the wind. By the time the towel landed in Du Chengfeng’s hands again, it had become a damp towel.

Du Chengfeng first wiped his face, then wiped down his body, feeling much more comfortable. This little assistant hadn’t been picked wrong. Looking at Su Yue’s bright, sparkling eyes, clearly hoping for praise and approval, he nodded.

Favorability +5

Su Yue’s small eyes curved instantly into crescent moons with her smile. In Du Chengfeng’s eyes, he thought it was because of his praise. Seeing how happy she looked, his heart, irritable from the heat, eased up a little.

Suddenly a cool breeze hit him, it turned out she was holding a small fan, gently fanning air toward him.

Favorability +2

It was only her first day on the job, and she’d already earned 10 favorability points. The system hadn’t lied, the mission really was quite simple.

Ten a day, and she’d complete the mission within a week.

“Don’t get carried away, host. This is just the beginning, the further along, the harder it gets. Seventy percent favorability means the male lead has to actually fall for you.” Just as Su Yue started floating on air, the system pulled her right back to reality.

“System, what kind of person is the female lead?” Su Yue silently asked the system in her heart. She was a little curious, what kind of female lead could possibly be a match for such an outstanding male lead?

“The female lead is beautiful and elegant, skilled in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting, accomplished in everything. Her family background is about the same as the male lead’s, a proper match in status.” The system said it leisurely. Whoever could match the male lead was naturally someone outstanding in every way, a male lead falling for a Cinderella only happened in novels.

Su Yue: …

“Get lost, don’t disturb me while I’m working on the mission.” Su Yue cursed at the system in her heart and shut it off directly. Wasn’t it afraid of crushing her work motivation?

“Hey, Little Yue, are you serving Brother Du like he’s some landlord tyrant?” Zhao Cheng leaned lazily back in his chair, watching the scene unfold. Somehow it looked a little like he was jealous.

Even Du Chengfeng, who never cared much about comfort, was showing an expression of enjoyment. Should he go find himself a little assistant too?

“It’s all thanks to Brother Zhao. What coffee would you like, Brother Zhao? I’ll go buy it right now.” Su Yue looked at Zhao Cheng with a face full of gratitude, she never forgot who dug the well she drank from.

“A latte, no sugar, no milk. You’re buying.” Zhao Cheng didn’t hold back at all. He had no idea what she’d said to Manager Chen, but not only had she gotten her wages settled in full, she’d also run over and pledged her loyalty to Du Chengfeng.

Su Yue said she’d go right away, but she still waited until Du Chengfeng went back to training before running off. Seeing this, Zhao Cheng pursed his lips, the difference in how she treated the two of them was a bit too obvious, wasn’t it?

He was clearly the one who’d dug up this little assistant, and yet the one she obeyed without question was Du Chengfeng. Wasn’t that a little heartbreaking?

“I found you such a thoughtful life assistant, how are you going to thank me?” Zhao Cheng watched Su Yue’s retreating figure as she ran off and asked Du Chengfeng. He had no idea where the girl got all that energy from, as if she never got tired.

He turned his head and saw Du Chengfeng sweating buckets again, the two of them seemed to be cut from the same cloth, while he himself just liked living comfortably.

He didn’t even want to manage the family business, with his older brother around, he was content being a second-generation layabout. That was also why he, the proud second young master of the Zhao family, had come to be Du Chengfeng’s manager.

“Keep this up and you’re going to get a beer belly.” Du Chengfeng, stealing a moment from his busy training, glanced at Zhao Cheng’s stomach. A grown man growing a little paunch, how pathetic.

“What do you know? This is called sexy. See you at the bar tonight, you’re buying.” Zhao Cheng replied. Mooching a cup of coffee off the little girl, then mooching a night of drinks off his employer, not bad, saving his family more money.

If his dad knew how good he was at saving money, would he scold him a little less?

“Fine,” Du Chengfeng said, not refusing. Aside from training and matches every day, that was about the extent of his hobbies.

“Brother Zhao, the coffee’s a bit hot, I’ll set it here to cool for a moment first.” Su Yue rushed back in a hurry, her forehead covered in dense beads of sweat. Her small face, not fair to begin with, now looked a bit like Judge Bao’s.

She casually wiped the sweat off her face with her hand. Her t-shirt, soaked through, was sticking uncomfortably to her body. She tugged at it to fan some air in, revealing a slender waist.

It happened to catch the eyes of the two men looking her way, though neither paid it any real mind, they just wondered how such a thin waist could possibly support her whole body.

“You’re not drinking any yourself?” Seeing how thoughtful Su Yue was, Zhao Cheng felt a bit uneasy about having just mooched off her, and asked offhandedly.

“I’m not thirsty…” The words had barely left her mouth when Su Yue picked up her own water cup and downed half of it in one go. There was a moment of silence.

Zhao Cheng frowned slightly, feeling a bit off inside. He’d forgotten that a cup of coffee costing a few dozen bucks meant nothing to people like them, but to this little girl, it was real money.

“Work hard, and if you do well, I’ll give you a bonus.” Zhao Cheng said, looking at the steaming coffee. Forget it, he’d let this one slide, no more mooching off her next time.

“Thank you, Brother Zhao, you’re truly a good person!” Su Yue felt like the day wasn’t hot anymore, in fact, it felt a little cool. She didn’t expect such a pleasant surprise, that cup of coffee had been worth it.

Right now she only rented a single studio apartment, but even in this prime real estate downtown, it still cost 1,200 a month, on top of eating and other expenses. The original owner had already been frugal enough, and could only save a tiny bit each month.

It was only by starving herself down to skin and bones that she could save even that little bit, otherwise she’d be running a deficit.

Ever since she took over this body, she’d been trying her best to increase her nutrition, otherwise her life could end at any moment.

No, more accurately, by the time she took over this body, the original owner had already scrimped herself nearly to death.

A high fever that wouldn’t break for three days, and still forced to keep working, even an immortal couldn’t withstand being pushed that hard, let alone the malnourished original owner.

Zhao Cheng was suddenly handed a “good person card” by Su Yue, and he froze for a moment. In all his years, no one had ever called him a good person before.

The word felt fresh. He liked it quite a bit.

Du Chengfeng looked at Su Yue, then looked at Zhao Cheng, something felt a little off about Zhao Cheng to him.

But then he looked again at Su Yue’s plain, unremarkable face and stopped worrying about anything. He knew exactly how high his good buddy’s standards were, even just fooling around, he wouldn’t pick someone like her.

Su Yue: are you even polite?
