After recognizing her as its owner, a yin-yang symbol appeared on the surface of the jade pendant. However, instead of the usual black and white dots, the two halves were marked with the characters for “Master” and “Servant.”
Pressing the “Master” character would open the master pendant’s space, while pressing the “Servant” character would allow her to see inside the servant pendant’s space.
Shu Ran took a look and found that the servant pendant’s space had been stuffed with all kinds of things. It was a complete mess, and anyone could tell they had been hurriedly tossed inside.

Once she confirmed that the energy was indeed drifting out from inside the room, she grabbed the doorknob and opened the door.

She bent down and ran her fingers from the man’s fair hand, where the veins were faintly visible, all the way up to his neck, finally stopping at his Adam’s apple.

Thinking that, Shu Ran leaned closer. The tip of her pert little nose pressed directly against the man’s Adam’s apple.
Just as she was about to succeed, someone suddenly pinched her cheeks!
“Ah!”
The pinch made Shu Ran look up.
And her eyes met Yu Yan’s—he had opened them at some point.
His eyes were deep and filled with interest as he gazed lazily down at her.

She immediately leaned against the edge of the swivel chair before quickly wrapping her arms around the man.
