Gu Xiulin reached his hand toward Shi Jun’s chest and forcefully tore open the buttons of his shirt. Shi Jun’s face instantly flushed with shame.
With a wild, untamed expression, the man remarked, “That expression of yours makes my heart itch.”
Shi Jun said nothing.
Staring down at him, a wicked smile curled at the corners of Gu Xiulin’s mouth as his hand began to slowly rub against Shi Jun’s waist and abdomen. Startled, Shi Jun struggled fiercely to break free from the man’s restraints. However, the man possessed immense strength; no matter how much effort Shi Jun exerted, it was all in vain.
As the man’s hand slid further down, Shi Jun felt something pressing firmly against his lower body. His face instantly turned scalding hot. Unbidden, his legs wrapped around the man’s waist.
Seeing this, Gu Xiulin smiled even more radiantly.
Shi Jun felt his breathing grow increasingly difficult. Flashes of yesterday’s hotel scenes rushed through his mind the two of them entangled together, the man passionately claiming him, leaving Shi Jun completely swept away.
Is this going to turn into a full-blown daytime debauchery?
“Stop!” Shi Jun suddenly shouted.
The man paused, his eyes reflecting a hint of confusion and perplexity. “Why?”
“Even though your face and physique are exactly my type, it’s still a no,” Shi Jun replied. “My back is sore and my waist aches right now. I can’t handle your roughhousing. Besides, I still have things to do.”
Hearing this, the man burst into a chuckle, his smile carrying an enigmatic, shifting charm. “I can wait.”
Shi Jun looked up at him. “Wait for what?”
“Wait for you to adjust.”
Shi Jun nearly coughed up blood. Did a matter like this really require an adjustment period?
Meanwhile, Gu Xiulin felt with absolute certainty that this person belonged to him completely, from head to toe.
Suddenly, Shi Jun remembered that he hadn’t yet asked the system about the original soul’s final wish. A cascade of events starting from being drugged the night before up to the chaos of this morning had caused him to forget his actual purpose here.
“007, what is the original soul’s wish?”
[Ding! System 007 is back online. The original host’s wish is to make everyone who harmed him pay the price. He wants Shi Wen to taste the humiliation of being defiled, and he wants Shi Yong (the father) ruined and disgraced, spending the rest of his life behind bars.]
How can I, the grand and dignified Demon Venerable, be captivated and held captive by mere physical beauty? Shi Jun thought.
He immediately declared aloud, “I’m going to fulfill my duties right now. Don’t block my path.” With that, he turned and walked away.
The man stood in silence.
Watching Shi Jun’s retreating figure, Gu Xiulin said playfully, “No rush. We have plenty of time. Sooner or later, you will be mine.”
He then pulled out his phone and dialed his subordinates. “Investigate the person who entered my room last night.”
Shi Jun left the hotel and headed straight for the Shi family residence, arriving just as lunch was approaching.
Inside the dining room, the father, Shi Yong, was tenderly placing food into Shi Wen’s bowl. Such a heartwarming, domestic scene was something the original host had never once experienced.
Shi Wen was eating slowly. Catching sight of Shi Jun entering from the corner of his eye, he set down his chopsticks and said at a leisurely pace, “Brother, you’re finally back. When I saw you being taken away by the hotel manager, I thought you had committed a crime. I was so worried about you. I’m glad you’re safe.”
Seeing Shi Wen’s hypocritically passionate display, Shi Jun curled his lips into a smirk. “Are you disappointed to see that I’m perfectly fine?”
“Brother, how could you think of me that way? I was genuinely worried—”
Before he could finish his sentence, Shi Jun slapped him squarely across the face. Shi Wen’s cheek swelled up instantly.
Clutching his face, Shi Wen looked at Shi Jun with tear-filled eyes.
Seeing this, Father Shi frowned in deep heartache. “Xiao Wen, are you alright?” He turned to glare at the older son. “Shi Jun, what do you think you’re doing? Xiao Wen was only caring about you. You stayed out all night, and yet you act like you’re the one in the right!”
Shi Wen shook his head, looking utterly aggrieved as he stared at Shi Jun. “I’m fine, Father. Brother, why did you hit me?”
Shi Jun calmly withdrew his hand, his face entirely composed as he looked at his younger brother. “Because you practically begged for it. Weren’t you the one who drugged my wine? Weren’t you the one who sent me into that old man’s room? What kind of pity are you trying to evoke now?”
“You… you are framing me!”
“Framing you?” Shi Jun scoffed. “Whether I am framing you or not, you know better than anyone. You discussed everything with Shi Yong last night, didn’t you? You deliberately got me drunk, tricked me into going to the hotel, and offered me up to that old man just to clear the company’s debts.”
Shi Wen’s face turned a mottled shade of green and white, then flushed dark red. How did this idiot Shi Jun find out?
“Since it has come to this, I won’t bother putting on an act anymore,” Shi Wen sneered, dropping his facade. “You should feel honored that your body could be used to clear the family company’s debts. After all, that is the sole value of your existence.”
Father Shi added, “Shi Jun, I have raised you for so long, and it is finally time for you to repay me. If you obediently return to that old man’s side, I will still recognize you as my son.”
Looking at the disgusting countenances of the family before him, Shi Jun felt an urge to vomit. Resorting to such despicable methods and sacrificing their own flesh and blood meant this man didn’t deserve to be called a father at all.
“Do you really think I’d be foolish enough to walk down the path you laid out with such underhanded tricks?” Shi Jun stated coldly. “Shi Wen, listen to me clearly. You don’t deserve to be my brother. You are merely the illegitimate child of a mistress. What right do you have to call me ‘brother’? You don’t even deserve to be called human. The grievances between us have only just begun. We will have plenty of opportunities to settle the score in the future!”
With those final words, Shi Jun turned around and strode out of the Shi residence.
Watching Shi Jun leave with such absolute finality, Shi Wen’s expression darkened completely. He glared viciously at Shi Jun’s back, his eyes overflowing with raw hatred. “Shi Jun, I will never let you get away with this.”
Shi Jun soon arrived at the entrance of a small alleyway. Looking at the familiar structures within, a cold smirk played on his lips.
Wasn’t this the exact alley where the original host had been kidnapped in the original timeline?
He sneered quietly, “Sending that old man to kidnap me so quickly? Shi Wen, you really can’t wait even a single moment, can you?”
Shi Jun walked into the alley and, sure enough, spotted the targeted vehicle. The amusement deep within his eyes grew more profound. Shi Wen, just you wait. One day, I will collect this debt from you, piece by piece.
The old man stepped out of the car, followed by a gang of thugs. The moment they saw Shi Jun, they immediately let out appreciative whistles.
The old man spoke up, “Brothers, it looks like you’re in luck today.”
“Yeah, he looks young and quite beautiful.”
Shi Jun’s lips curled into a chilling smile. “Is that so? Let’s see if you have the life left to enjoy it.”
As soon as the words left his mouth, the men instantly surrounded him. The old man stepped forward, reaching out a hand in an attempt to touch Shi Jun’s face.
Shi Jun’s gaze darkened. He struck swiftly, planting a direct, powerful kick into the man’s abdomen. With a heavy thud, the old man collapsed flat onto the ground, his fingers clawing desperately at the dirt.
The remaining thugs were startled and rushed forward simultaneously. “You brat, you’ve got some nerve daring to kick our boss!”
Shi Jun smiled deviously. “Didn’t you want to take me? I’m giving you the chance.”
“Hmph, kid, you’re way too arrogant!”
One of the men raised an iron pipe, swinging it viciously toward Shi Jun’s shoulder.
Crack!
With a crisp sound, Shi Jun cleanly evaded the strike. He lashed out with a brutal kick straight to the man’s chest. With a sharp gasp of pain, the man’s body flew backward, smashing heavily against the wall before he vomited blood and blacked out.
Seeing their companion so easily incapacitated, the remaining thugs grew terrified and launched a frantic, disorganized attack against Shi Jun.
Shi Jun smiled with wicked arrogance. “A bunch of worthless trash. You think you’re worthy of being my opponents?”
Before they could even touch a single hair on his head, they were systematically knocked unconscious by his fists.
