Love is born within a person’s inner heart, and we can also bury our affection deep inside, speaking it to no one and sharing it with no one.
Love can concern only a single person, and unrequited love is not mere emotional internal friction. It can cause a person to become more optimistic and proactive; the existence of every emotion has its own meaning.
Wuwuwu, Dugu Yue is too miserable, and that kangaroo, my King Kong! What happened to the comedy they promised? Damn director, playing with my feelings, yingyingying.
(′Д`) I hate you so much!
After the movie ended, Wen Niao cried until he was out of breath.
Luo Jin could only helplessly hand tissues over to Wen Niao. Looking at Luo Jin’s completely calm expression, Wen Niao felt a bit unconvinced.
“B-Brother Jin, wh-why aren’t you sad?” Wen Niao’s voice trembled slightly from the sobbing.
Seeing Wen Niao crying so sorrowfully, Luo Jin spoke up to comfort him:
“Everything in the movie is fake, so there’s nothing to cry about. Even though Dugu Yue died in the film, the real actor is still alive and well, so there’s no need to be sad.”
“Ah? Is that how it is? When I was little and watched anti-Japanese war films, I cried so hard when the heroes died.
Back then, I actually thought they were truly gone. Now I realize it was all just special effects. Come to think of it, if people had to die every time they acted in a drama, nobody would be willing to make movies by the end of it.”
After hearing Luo Jin’s comfort, Wen Niao immediately felt a lot less heartbroken.
Wen Niao casually picked up his phone to glance at the time. Not looking was fine, but a single glance gave him a fright.
It was already 6:30 PM, which was the proper time for dinner.
Wen Niao grabbed Luo Jin and dashed toward the dining room, dragging a bewildered Luo Jin along the entire way.
Wen Niao had a special obsession with delicious food. Auntie the servant had secretly tipped him off that morning:
This afternoon they were making his absolute favorite hot and sour noodles, so Wen Niao had been anticipating dinner for a long time.
What could possibly be happier than slurping noodles?
Nobody could resist my deep, profound love for rice noodles.

Wen Niao wholeheartedly assumed the role of a dedicated foodie, picking up a pile of noodles, wrapping them around his chopsticks in a circle, blowing on them until they cooled down, and finally popping them into his mouth to savor. Wen Niao narrowed his eyes in absolute satisfaction.
Luo Jin tried eating it by mimicking Wen Niao’s method.

Sure enough, following Niao Niao never goes wrong when it comes to good food.
Wen Niao: Follow big brother, and you’ll get meat to eat!
(﹃ )
Watching the two of them eating happily using the exact same technique, Tang Miao followed her son’s method as well, tasting it carefully.
The three of them sat around the marble dining table, holding bowls and eating with the identical method. Anyone passing by would have thought they were tasting some supreme delicacy; who would have guessed it was just a plain bowl of hot and sour noodles?
Hot and sour noodles: What is this? Are you looking down on me or something? Keep doing this and this noodle is going to get hurt, you know.
After polishing off his meal, Wen Niao contentedly patted his round belly, burped, and carrying his bulging stomach, he slowly waddled back to his room.
After finishing dinner, Luo Jin felt somewhat bored staying in his room. Tossing and turning unable to sleep, he stared blankly at the ceiling.
Ceiling: Young man, staring at this concubine so infatuatedly makes this concubine feel so terribly shy.
Feigning sleep for a long time without managing to drop off, Luo Jin irritably got up and started doing push-ups.
From the opposite room came the sound of Wen Niao’s excited shouting.
Wen Niao: Cough, cough. How could someone as gentle, soft, and cute as me possibly make such a shout? You must be hearing things, believe me and attain eternal life!
`(^﹏^)′
Luo Jin stopped what he was doing, walked curiously over to Wen Niao’s door, and pressed his ear against it to listen to the commotion inside.
The noises inside were muffled and indistinct. Did it sound like Wen Niao was hurt? Screaming in pain?
Luo Jin knocked on the door, but nobody answered. Luo Jin’s heart leaped into his throat.
He knocked tentatively a second time, and still received no response. He pushed the door open directly and rushed inside.
“Wen Niao, don’t be afraid, I’m coming to save you.”
Luo Jin was shocked by the sight inside Wen Niao’s room.
He saw Wen Niao with his hair standing up on end, wearing headphones with an impatient expression as he cursed out his absurd teammates.
“Han Xin, you’re playing Han Xin the jumper, but you won’t clear the jungle! You won’t start the dragon! You won’t push towers! You won’t even manage the minion waves! Do you think you’re here at a buffet?!”
“Ahhhhh, I’m dying of anger because of you bunch of griefers! I’m so mad! Awooo.”
Wen Niao slammed his hand fiercely against the desk, took the last gulp of his juice, and stood up to refill it when he spotted Luo Jin staring at him in utter shock.
!!!!!!!!
Oh my sweet heavens, when did this guy get here, why didn’t I have the slightest impression of it at all?!
Thinking of the fierce, roaring persona he had just displayed, Wen Niao felt his toes curl so hard in embarrassment that they dug out an entire magical fairy castle.
“Ahahaha, oh, Brother Jin, what brings you here? Haha, everything just now was an accident, it was all just your hallucinations acting up, forget it, forget it, forget it all!”
“It’s so late, Brother Jin, is there something you need?” Wen Niao switched back to his soft-spoken, delicate and frail persona.
Author: I believe your big fat head! I’m going to slap you right across the face!
( ‘-‘ )ノ)`-‘ )
Wen Niao: Am I no longer your biological child?!
Wen Niao pulled up a chair for Luo Jin next to his desk, poured him a glass of juice, and began introducing the game he had just been playing with such high enthusiasm: Honor of Kings.
Wen Niao eagerly introduced the game to Luo Jin, only then remembering that Luo Jin had never used a smartphone before, and he had completely forgotten to prepare such an item for him.
He slapped the back of his head in deep frustration.
“Brother Jin, I’m sorry, I forgot the fact that you didn’t have a phone yet. But it’s fine, I’ll have Uncle Li buy you one tomorrow that’s the same model as mine but in a different color.
A phone makes daily life much more convenient, and I’ll teach you how to use it then.”
Wen Niao spoke earnestly like a little adult, lightly patting Luo Jin’s head as he affectionately instructed him.
Wen Niao: Big doggo, be a good boy.
“Alright, next up, let me—this all-powerful gaming god—help a little rookie like you get familiar with this game!”
Wen Niao patted his chest with a fierce aura and a proud look on his face.
