Fu Yuanchao’s fingertips moved slightly downward from Jiang Tang’s chin and loosely closed around her excessively slender neck.

“What exactly are you trying to do?”

There was not the slightest hint of fear in Jiang Tang’s eyes. Instead, she pushed herself upward, and this time their lips completely met.Full novel: Quick Transmigration: The Seductive Host Crooks Her Finger and the Big Shot Bends Down to Coax Her — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Of course I want you to love me.”

Taking advantage of Fu Yuanchao’s brief moment of stunned silence, Jiang Tang curved her eyes into a smile and quickly extended the tip of her tongue for a light lick.

Every glance and every movement clearly told Fu Yuanchao one thing.

I am doing this on purpose.

Fu Yuanchao’s palm tightened slightly. Jiang Tang raised her slender neck high, and with every breath she could clearly feel the resistance in the air. Instead of retreating, she wrapped both arms around Fu Yuanchao’s neck with remarkable agility, her fingertips slipping through the opening of his collar and reaching inside his clothes to lightly tap the protruding bone of his shoulder.

“Are you going to kill me?”

Progress +1 (19/100)

A look of understanding flashed through Jiang Tang’s eyes. She tilted her face slightly, her cool teeth almost touching his burning earlobe.

“You cannot bear to do it, can you?”

The muscles on the side of Fu Yuanchao’s neck twitched lightly several times. This feeling of his body being beyond his control made him deeply uneasy.

Jiang Tang looked as though she had discovered an interesting toy. She chuckled softly, lowered her head, and traced the raised vein with her lips.

The next moment, Jiang Tang suddenly felt everything spin around. In the blink of an eye, she was firmly pressed against the sofa. Before she could even open her mouth, her lips were already bitten hard.

“Mmm…”

Fu Yuanchao kissed her fiercely, completely disregarding everything else as he repeatedly deepened the kiss.

Jiang Tang could even feel the rise and fall of her own chest. With every breath, the air seemed to become increasingly scarce, while Fu Yuanchao’s scent filled her nostrils.

Fu Yuanchao forcefully suppressed every tiny attempt Jiang Tang made to resist. He easily restrained her slender wrists, raising them high and pressing them down.

Jiang Tang tried to turn her head away, but he quickly caught her face and turned it back. Fu Yuanchao was breathing slightly heavily, their foreheads touching and the tips of their noses pressed together.

“What are you hiding from? Is this not what you wanted?”

Jiang Tang’s lower lip had been bitten until it was bright red, with a lingering sting.

“You… are you a dog?”

Fu Yuanchao did not waste a single word and lowered his head to kiss her again.

Jiang Tang fell silent.

Two minutes later, Jiang Tang forcefully turned her head to the side and gasped for breath, both hands pressed against Fu Yuanchao’s chest.

“Wait… wait.”

Fu Yuanchao’s gaze never left those increasingly flushed lips. He slightly pursed his lips as though savoring the memory.

Jiang Tang turned over and knelt halfway on Fu Yuanchao’s thigh. Fu Yuanchao did not resist. Instead, he gently stroked Jiang Tang’s waist and hips, seemingly curious to see just how far she intended to go.

Jiang Tang raised her hand and pulled out the hairpin holding her hair in place. Her long black hair immediately cascaded down.

With one hand pressing against Fu Yuanchao’s shoulder, Jiang Tang looked down at him from above.

The cold, sharp hairpin pressed against the blood vessel in Fu Yuanchao’s neck, leaving a small indentation.

Fu Yuanchao merely lowered his eyes and glanced at it without making any other move. His fingers resting on Jiang Tang’s waist simply tightened slightly.

Jiang Tang leaned down toward him.

“You kissed too hard and hurt me. I will teach you.”

Compared with the fierce kiss from earlier, which had been like a beast devouring its prey, this one was more like gentle spring rain, making it impossible not to become immersed in it.

Fu Yuanchao mastered the technique of kissing with astonishing speed. He firmly wrapped his arms around Jiang Tang’s waist and took control once again.

This time, Jiang Tang did not resist and simply half closed her eyes.

When the kiss ended, Fu Yuanchao’s fingertip rubbed firmly across Jiang Tang’s cheek, immediately leaving behind a striking red mark.

“Where did you learn these techniques?”

Jiang Tang was slightly stunned. These techniques seemed to be deeply engraved in her memory. She did not need to search for them at all, as they surfaced instinctively.

Jiang Tang could not remember who had taught her.

She appeared to think for a long time, but in reality, only one thousandth of a second had passed.

“I happened to read some books before and remembered a few things.”

Fu Yuanchao did not reveal whether he believed her explanation. His fingertip moved from the side of her neck to the corner of her lips.

When Jiang Tang raised her wrist, her sleeve slipped down, revealing her wrist bone and several red marks left by his grip.

Fu Yuanchao remembered that he had not used much force at the time. He had not expected Jiang Tang’s skin to be so delicate that even that had left marks.

Jiang Tang’s skin was already extremely fair. Against it, those uneven traces of red looked rather striking, as though they had tightly wrapped themselves around her wrist.

Jiang Tang noticed where Fu Yuanchao’s gaze lingered and casually shook her wrist.

“It is fine.”

“Tomorrow, just stay by my side. Do not make any unnecessary little moves.”

Jiang Tang obediently narrowed her eyes.

“Okay.”

If everyone else behaved themselves, Jiang Tang naturally could not be bothered to argue with them. But if someone insisted on causing trouble…

With a crisp sound, Jiang Tang broke the apple in her hand into two halves.

“Want some?”

Fu Yuanchao accepted the other half of the apple.

“If there is anything you like to eat, just tell Auntie.”

Jiang Tang nodded.

“Mm.”

Just as it was time for dinner, two people hurried in, looking as though they had something important to report.

Fu Yuanchao invited them into the study. He turned around on the stairs and looked back.

“Go ahead and eat first. Do not wait for me.”

“Alright.”

The kitchen had originally prepared a sumptuous dinner for three people, with an entire table filled with various dishes. Now only Jiang Tang remained, sitting alone at one corner of the table.

Yunduo finally found some time to speak.

“Tangtang, is this world difficult?”

“Not at all.”

Jiang Tang picked the most tender piece of fish belly and placed it into her bowl. She thought about Fu Yuanchao’s face.

“It is actually quite interesting.”

At exactly nine o’clock, Jiang Tang got into the car heading to the old residence. Fu Yuanchao had dealt with work until late the previous night and had slept for only two or three hours. He was now resting with his eyes closed, faint bluish shadows visible beneath them.

“Yunduo, is something wrong with Fu Yuanchao’s company?”

Yunduo jumped around inside the system space.

“There are too many emerging industries now, while the Fu family’s company is more focused on traditional industries, so it has been affected quite heavily.”

When they were close to their destination, Fu Yuanchao opened his eyes and woke up. The wind blowing in through the window forcibly dispersed his hazy sleepiness.

Twenty minutes later, the car stopped outside a large estate. Luxury cars of all kinds already filled both sides of the spacious road, all belonging to members of the Fu family who had come from various places to attend the family banquet.

The Fu family had benefited from the first wave of economic reforms and opening up, and their wealth had continued to grow. After Fu Yuanchao took over, the family business eventually reached its current position as the richest family in A City.

After getting out of the car, Fu Yuanchao did not leave immediately.

Instead, he opened the door on the other side and held the frame with one hand, allowing the person inside to step out.

Jiang Tang was wearing a red floral qipao today. Her graceful figure was fully revealed under the sunlight, attracting the attention of several people who had not yet entered the old residence. They stared at her so intently that they almost forgot to look away.

Fu Yuanchao also noticed those blatant gazes. He wrapped an arm around Jiang Tang’s waist in a clear declaration of possession and pulled her firmly toward himself.

Jiang Tang was wearing eight centimeter high heels. Her body became unsteady and tilted toward him, forcing her to lean against Fu Yuanchao’s chest. Her soft laughter drifted into his ear with the breeze.

“President Fu, are you jealous?”

“Do not worry. I only love you.”

Jiang Tang held onto Fu Yuanchao and steadied herself. Her slender fingertip poked his shoulder once. She gave him a charming smile before turning around and entering the old residence ahead of him.

“Jiang Tang? You actually came? Looks like you have completely forgotten about the embarrassment you suffered last time.”

Jiang Tang had just entered the living room when she heard a slightly shrill voice mocking her. She followed the voice and vaguely remembered that the speaker was one of Fu Yuanchao’s female cousins. There were many members of the Fu family, and none of them would willingly give up the opportunity to use a family banquet to get closer to Fu Yuanchao.

Jiang Tang curiously searched through the crowd.

“Where is your husband? Why did he not come with you?”

The cousin’s expression changed. Because she had become pregnant before marriage, her parents had lectured her for a long time and ordered her to have the child aborted.

“You…”

When did Jiang Tang become so sharp tongued? Was she not always someone who could only throw childish tantrums without any sense of propriety?

Jiang Tang carried a small red leather handbag with a ribbon tied around it. She walked through the crowd in her high heels, and several younger members of the family instinctively stepped aside to make way for her.

Jiang Tang walked directly to an elderly woman seated in the main position.

She took a beautifully wrapped box from her bag.

“Grandmother, this is a peace charm Yuanchao specially asked someone to obtain from a temple. Wearing it can protect your health and help you live a long life.”

Grandmother Fu stared at Jiang Tang with her cloudy eyes for a moment before accepting the peace charm.

“The second branch has been thoughtful.”

“Brother! Can you please control Jiang Tang? She came in and immediately mocked me. Does she not know this is a family banquet?”

Fu Yuanchao had just entered when he saw his female cousin twisting the edge of her clothes and complaining to him. As she spoke, she looked toward Jiang Tang.

Everyone wore expressions of anticipation, waiting to see Jiang Tang get reprimanded and flee in embarrassment.

Fu Yuanchao cared deeply about his reputation. Jiang Tang’s recent poor behavior represented his reputation as well.

Fu Yuanchao reached out and moved his cousin’s hand away from his arm. His expression remained indifferent, making it impossible to tell whether he was angry.

“What did you say?”

His cousin pursed her lips and shifted her eyes uneasily from side to side.

“I… I did not say anything.”

Facing all those complicated gazes, Jiang Tang still wore a faint smile. She gracefully walked over to Fu Yuanchao, slipped her arm through his, and looked at him with complete dependence and trust, along with a faint trace of grievance.

“My younger sister is still young. As an elder, I naturally will not hold it against her.”

As Jiang Tang spoke, her fingers slid down the inside of his arm and lightly curled around his palm.

Fu Yuanchao’s heart felt as though it had been tied to a thin thread, with the other end wrapped around Jiang Tang. His emotions unconsciously followed every tug.

Progress +1 +1 (21/100)

His cousin looked utterly incredulous.

“Brother! I am your sister! How can you…”

Fu Yuanchao slightly lowered his brows and gave her a cold glance. His cousin instantly seemed as though someone had grabbed her throat, unable to make another sound.

Jiang Tang smiled faintly at her cousin. Still holding Fu Yuanchao’s arm, she elegantly nodded toward the surrounding people as a greeting.

With Fu Yuanchao present, the lively living room that had been full of chatter suddenly became completely silent. Everyone instinctively lowered their voices.

Jiang Tang did not care about the various gazes directed at her. She gently rested her head against Fu Yuanchao’s shoulder.

“Are you angry?”

Fu Yuanchao replied in a low voice.

“No.”

“Yuanchao, I heard the company has been quite busy recently. You are working too hard on your own. Why not promote a few of the younger members of our Fu family and let them learn from you?”

A middle aged man in a black suit approached with a flattering expression.

He had a large face and a somewhat heavy build, while his narrowed eyes were filled with calculating thoughts.

Fu Yuanchao sneered.

“Put a group of fools into the company?”

Those words could be said to have insulted nearly everyone in the Fu family, especially those around his age. Their expressions immediately became unpleasant.

Jiang Tang thoughtfully studied the smooth line of Fu Yuanchao’s jaw.

It seemed that the richest man in A City was not as carefree as he appeared. Emerging industries were continuously expanding and putting pressure on traditional businesses, while competitors in the business world deliberately targeted him. Even members of the Fu family were all coveting his position and hoping to claim a larger share for themselves.

“Brother! Look who is here!”

Fu Yuanchen pushed open the door as he hurried in, his face filled with an extremely cheerful smile as though he had not noticed the tense and oppressive atmosphere in the living room.

A girl wearing a blue denim dress that reached just below her knees and was fitted around the waist walked in through the doorway. She wore delicate makeup and carried a small red lambskin handbag over her arm.

Her eyes curved into crescent moons as she smiled.

“Hello, everyone. I am Mingyue.”

For a moment, several meaningful gazes landed on Jiang Tang.

Jiang Tang acted as though she had not noticed.

“So this is your childhood sweetheart?”

Fu Yuanchao looked somewhat helpless.

“Do not say things like that.”

“Brother Yuanchao, it has been a long time.”

Mingyue extended her hand.

Then, as though she had suddenly remembered something, she became slightly embarrassed.

“Sorry, sister in law. I forgot that Brother Yuanchao is already married. I should not be too affectionate with him.”

“Time passes so quickly. In my memory, he is still that caring older brother who used to take all the children in our courtyard out to play.”

A trace of nostalgia appeared in Mingyue’s eyes.

“Mingyue? Did her family not move overseas? When did they come back?”

“They should have returned recently. I heard business overseas has not been going well lately, so they want to return and develop their business here.”

“If you ask me, Mingyue is the true young lady of a wealthy family. She is beautiful and comes from a good family. If they cooperate with the company, would that not make things even better? No matter how you look at it, she is much better than that useless decorative vase from a family of bloodsuckers.”

Fu Yuanchen looked at Jiang Tang expectantly, waiting for her to throw a tantrum. Even he had heard those whispers.

Everyone knew that although his sister in law did not have a good relationship with his brother, she was extremely jealous. Even when Fu Yuanchao had hired a pretty female secretary, she had almost gone to the company to cause a scene. This time, she would probably lose her temper again.

“What is little sister talking about?”

Jiang Tang tilted her head in confusion.

“Shaking hands is simply a normal courtesy. You have stayed overseas for so long, yet why are your ideas still so old fashioned? That can hardly be considered an intimate act.”

Jiang Tang’s palm, which had been holding Fu Yuanchao’s arm, slid downward and directly slipped between his fingers.

Their palms pressed together, their fingers tightly intertwined.

“This is what counts.”

Mingyue’s expression became slightly stiff. Looking somewhat awkward, she turned toward Fu Yuanchao with a pleading look for help.
