She could learn while doing, but first she had to pass that test paper.

Jiang Huai calmly took the test paper, sat at the desk by the window, picked up a pen, and began writing.

Outside the window, the sky was bathed in a golden sunset, beautiful and brilliant.

Strands of light filtered through the window, casting a gilded edge over the desk by the window, the test paper, and the small hand holding the pen.

The girl at the desk was stunningly beautiful, with a few strands of black hair falling by her ears and resting on her chest, her face serious and focused.

The pen tip moved swiftly across the paper, as if she didn’t need to think at all before writing down each answer.

Wu Donghai never expected the teacher to invite him to participate in an experimental project, his young and handsome face filled with pleasant surprise.

“Thank you, teacher. I won’t let you down.”

He pulled out a chair and sat at the teacher’s desk, picked up a pen, and began writing with a calm and composed expression, carefully considering each question.

Jiang Huai realized that these seemed to be all basic theoretical knowledge, which coincidentally she had studied in the books she read yesterday.

All the questions were multiple-choice, a hundred in total, covering a wide range of topics.

In the end, Jiang Huai scored full marks, while Wu Donghai got two questions wrong.

Mo De nodded. “Alright, both of you did well. Initially, you’ll just be assistants. The location is in Building C of the Experiment Building. You’ll receive academic credits, and I’ll notify you of the schedule later!”

Mo De agreed because their past academic performances had always been excellent, consistently ranking among the top three in their grade.

Jiang Huai and Wu Donghai thanked the teacher, exchanged contact information, and left.

Outside the door.

In the simply decorated hallway.

Wu Donghai looked shy and somewhat hesitant. “Jiang Huai, can I call you Huai Huai? Do you want to go out for dinner together after school?”

Jiang Huai could tell what was going on just by looking at him, her expression slightly helpless. “Just call me Jiang Huai. I’m busy tonight. Goodbye!”

Without giving him a chance to respond, Jiang Huai turned and strode away.

Wu Donghai watched Jiang Huai’s captivating figure with disappointment.

It was almost five o’clock now. As Jiang Huai walked, she wondered how she could make the Lin and Leng families the laughingstock of high society at tomorrow’s wedding.

Lin Shangyu dared to sell her out—how could she let him off without making him suffer?

A low-key yet luxurious Rolls-Royce Phantom was parked at the entrance of Jing University, drawing the attention of every student coming and going.

Gu Yunze spotted Jiang Huai pushing her bicycle out from afar while sitting in the car.

He had learned from his subordinates that Huai Huai would be going home tonight.

He had been waiting here for a while.

Gu Yunze stepped out of the car, his tall and upright figure moving with steady steps toward the entrance.

His exceptionally handsome face and noble, dignified aura made him the center of attention in the crowd, with female students gazing at him with infatuation or admiration.

As Jiang Huai walked out, she saw Gu Yunze. Why was he here again?

Gu Yunze walked up to her, his voice husky and pleasant, tinged with a hint of anticipation. “Huai Huai, I’m here to take you home!”

Would she be pleasantly surprised?

Jiang Huai was stunned. Why was this person acting so familiar?

Anyone who didn’t know better would think they were very close.

Jiang Huai looked at Gu Yunze’s handsome face and sighed softly, “We don’t seem to be that familiar, do we?”

Gu Yunze’s expression instantly darkened, a gloomy aura surrounding him. Yesterday, she said she liked him, and today she changed her attitude in an instant.”Look, isn’t that the freshman campus belle’s sister? I heard she’s the top student in the medical department.”

“Yesterday there were rumors she likes Gu Yunze, the famous figure from the capital, and today she’s entangled with some unknown man!”

“Didn’t rumors also circulate recently that she likes Lin Xiaoxiao’s boyfriend?”

The girls who had been admiring the handsome man began weaving fantasies in their minds when they saw Jiang Huai talking to him.

Some even whispered among themselves.

Jiang Huai pushed her bicycle to bypass Gu Yunze.

Gu Yunze grabbed her arm, his expression grim, his voice chilling several degrees as if suppressing some emotion. “Get in my car. I have something to say to you.”

Jiang Huai glanced at him sideways. “I’m riding my bicycle. Say what you need to say here.”

Gu Yunze directly lifted her bicycle high above his head, the motion perfectly displaying his muscular lines, then turned and walked toward the Rolls-Royce.

Jiang Huai stared blankly for a moment before striding after him, genuinely angry now, cold light flashing in her eyes. “Put that down!”

Ignoring her, Gu Yunze quickly folded the bicycle. The car’s rear door automatically opened, and he threw it inside before the door closed automatically.

Jiang Huai caught up, her face flushed crimson with rage, her delicate features contorted as she coldly threatened, “Just you wait!”

Her fierce yet cute appearance struck Gu Yunze as exceptionally adorable. He pulled her hand, his eyes holding a tenderness even he hadn’t noticed. “I’ll wait. You can do whatever you want.” Provided you behave.

Jiang Huai shook off his hand, thought for a moment, and decided to hear what nonsense he had to say!

“I’ll walk myself!”

After getting in the car.

Jiang Huai sat on the soft, comfortable leather seat, her almond-shaped eyes cold and imposing as she stared at Gu Yunze seated beside her. “Speak!”

Admittedly, his looks were quite to her taste. In Divine Abyss Country, probably only that guy could compare. If his mother hadn’t approached her, perhaps…

Gu Yunze was handsome, yes, but too frivolous – getting infatuated with any moderately pretty girl.

Unaware of Jiang Huai’s thoughts, Gu Yunze found sitting so close to her, catching her faint fragrance, felt like plucking at his heartstrings.

His voice grew slightly hoarse. “You don’t have to marry the Leng Family’s youngest son tomorrow. Your engagement is canceled!”

Jiang Huai showed slight surprise, but then realized this would ruin her plans. Annoyed, she said, “Who asked you to interfere in this? I make my own decisions!”

The driver, seeing the crowd gathering outside, decided it was best to leave first.

A dark glint flashed in Gu Yunze’s eyes, his hands slightly clenched as he suppressed his anger, his voice carrying dangerous undertones. “Do you still want to marry him?”

Jiang Huai’s nature was to resist force with force and yield to gentleness, but his constant coercion ignited her temper. Her gaze turned sharply cold. “If I like it, what’s it to you? Can you stop meddling in others’ business?!”

Gu Yunze grabbed Jiang Huai and pulled her forcefully toward him. She tumbled against his firm, powerful chest.

Though impacted, Gu Yunze felt an unprecedented satisfaction, holding her tightly, unwilling to let go, his voice grim and stern. “You can only be mine. You can only marry me! Anyone who dares marry you, I’ll kill them!”

Jiang Huai hadn’t expected this sudden move and was about to push him away forcefully. The system’s panicked voice echoed in her mind, “Host, what have you done! The villain is showing signs of turning dark! Oh my god, the dimension will collapse!”

“Get lost! What does that have to do with me!”

Jiang Huai’s mood worsened even more. She had clearly done nothing wrong. With a forceful push, she shoved Gu Yunze away, her almond-shaped eyes blazing with fury as she glared coldly at him. “Sit properly and don’t move, or I’ll go somewhere you’ll never find me!”

Gu Yunze’s expression turned panicked, his heart tightening abruptly.
