15 – Saving the Village Demon
Damn it! Qin Yue couldn’t help but curse. Why did she feel like she’d encountered a fake System? Meiqiu, you bastard, get back here! Where’s your professional integrity?
When Qin Yue met Sang Mohan’s gaze, she was immediately met with his hardened stare.
She gulped with difficulty, her throat making a faint sound. Who told her Sang Mohan was an idiot? Could an idiot have such terrifying eyes? Clearly, that was misinformation.
“Ahem… you there, you’re awake? Would you like some water? I’ll go pour you some.” Qin Yue forced a smile, stumbling over her words.
A strange smile twisted on Sang Mohan’s face, sending chills down Qin Yue’s spine. He truly was a villainous boss—even his smile was frightening. His gaze lingered on her, making her feel like prey.
“I don’t want water. I want to eat you.” Sang Mohan’s voice reverberated from his throat, striking deep into her soul.
Eat her? Oh, right—she remembered now. Chen Shuzhen had told them to consummate the marriage, claiming it would save his life. But did he have to be so impatient? This was her first time doing this; she needed at least some preparation!
The man before her wasn’t foolish, he was handsome, and he came from an official family. Qin Yue felt she wouldn’t be at a disadvantage being with him.
She immediately put on a shy expression: “Wait a moment, let me go wash up.”
Just as Qin Yue was about to stand up, Sang Mohan grabbed her soft arm and said in a low voice, “No need for such trouble. I don’t mind if you’re dirty.”
Sang Mohan stared at the tender woman before him. His craving for blood had awakened, and desire surged wildly within him. Through her skin, he could smell the sweetness of her blood—like delicious fruit juice. He couldn’t wait any longer.
Qin Yue, completely unaware of Sang Mohan’s true thoughts, was filled with narcissism at this moment: “Well, I know I’m irresistible—flowers bloom and tires burst at the sight of me—but everything requires a process. Being so impatient isn’t good.”
But Sang Mohan didn’t want to wait another second. Like a starving child suddenly spotting a delicious pastry, he longed to devour her immediately.
He didn’t want to waste any more words. With a slight tug, he pulled her into his embrace.
The familiar sweet scent of the woman enveloped him. He inhaled greedily, his eyes fixed on her fair, delicate neck. He thought, biting here would be incredibly satisfying. He wanted to savor this supreme delicacy slowly.
His large hand pressed against the back of Qin Yue’s head as his cold lips slowly approached her neck.
Qin Yue’s heart pounded violently. Was it starting already? In her previous life, she died before she could experience romance and never knew what it felt like to be close to a man. Now, she was so nervous she felt like fainting.
Yet, in Sang Mohan’s eyes, she had already transformed into a bowl of fresh blood. Drinking this bowl of blood would bring him comfort for a long time, freeing his body from its torment.
Finally, his cold, thin lips touched her moist skin. Just as he opened his mouth to bite down, she let out a soft moan—a sound so tender and sweet that it seemed to stir something in his memory.
He paused slightly, his eyes clouded with confusion for a moment, but ultimately, he remembered nothing.
The damned woman’s small hands clung tightly to his neck, choking him until he could barely breathe. A wave of extreme irritation surged within him, and he kicked her off him.
Before Qin Yue could recover from her earlier tension, she found herself sitting on the floor, her buttocks aching as if split into eight pieces.
