The Yandere Disabled Boss’s Pampering (4)

Duan Yimo saw that his expression did not look fake, and only then did he slightly loosen his hand, though he did not let go entirely.

The warm sensation transmitted from his fingertips was a temperature completely different from his own body heat. This unfamiliar feeling caused him to rarely give rise to a trace of lingering reluctance.Full novel: Quick Transmigration: The Yandere CEO is Both Pampering and Seductive — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Duan Yimo’s eyes darkened, and he suppressed this strange thought.

“I can give you a phone.” He loosened his grip, his gaze falling upon that plate of sweet and sour spareribs, and curved his lips. “From now on, cook double portions for meals.”

“You got it!” Song Chubai agreed without the slightest hesitation, then looked at Duan Yimo with an expectant expression, practically having the word “phone” written across his face.

Duan Yimo picked up his chopsticks again, his tone indifferent. “Follow me upstairs to get it after you finish eating.”

“Mn mn!” Song Chubai responded quickly, even enthusiastically moving the plate of sweet and sour spareribs closer to Duan Yimo.

In the face of a mobile phone, even his social anxiety was cured quite a bit.

As expected, the charm of a mobile phone was simply too massive.

Song Chubai thought to himself, quickly glancing at Duan Yimo, and seeing that he had no particular expression and spoke no further, he lowered his head and silently continued eating.

After the meal, Duan Yimo had Song Chubai follow him upstairs.

He maneuvered his wheelchair and headed toward the elevator. Song Chubai followed behind him, his hands twitching slightly at his sides.

He was wondering whether he should step up to help push the wheelchair.

Yet he also felt that the forward speed of the wheelchair seemed to be a bit faster than his own walking pace.

Amidst his musings, the two of them had already arrived at the elevator entrance.

Duan Yimo took the lead by maneuvering his wheelchair into the elevator. Shortly after, Song Chubai walked in.

The elevator was not particularly large, but two people standing inside were more than enough.

Perhaps because no one had ever taken this elevator aside from Duan Yimo himself, the moment they stepped inside, Duan Yimo even felt as if the air around them had changed.

The elevator doors slowly closed, and Duan Yimo pressed the “2” button. The elevator operated, emitting a faint sound.

Song Chubai looked left and right, smacked his lips, and suddenly spoke up, “This elevator is not going to break down, is it?”

The moment his voice fell, a sharp snap echoed out. The operation of the elevator seemed to be jammed by something, resting right in the middle between the first and second floors, coming to a complete stop.

Song Chubai: ??

Duan Yimo gave him a deep look. “I could not tell that you also possess the potential of a crow.”

Song Chubai shook his head frantically. He did not, he was not, do not talk nonsense!

Duan Yimo gave a light click of his tongue, pressing the buttons, but there was no response.

Song Chubai also went over to help press the buttons, and naturally, there was no reaction either.

He gave a light cough. “Should we contact someone?”

Duan Yimo raised his gaze and gave him an indifferent look. “You are going to contact them?”

“I can!” Song Chubai nodded, extending his hand. “Give me your phone, and I will send a message.”

Duan Yimo looked at the slender hand right in front of him and raised an eyebrow slightly. “I did not bring my phone.”

After a pause, he added with deep meaning, “I do not have a phone addiction.”

Compared to a mobile phone, he preferred reading books.

Song Chubai: ??

“No, no phone?” His speech even became stuttered. “Then can we not contact the outside world?”

Were they not going to stay stuck in here forever?

Duan Yimo seemed to see through his thoughts and spoke up again, “If they discover they cannot reach me, they will come over.”

This remark did not completely put Song Chubai’s mind at ease.

He tentatively asked, “Then roughly how long will that take?”

“Five or six hours, I suppose,” Duan Yimo said indifferently, his tone devoid of any emotional fluctuations, as if the elevator being stuck here had zero impact on him whatsoever.

Song Chubai took a deep breath, calculated the time, and simply sat down flat on the floor.

“Then we can only wait.”

He just wanted a mobile phone; why did it have to be so difficult?

A hint of paleness gradually showed on his previously rosy face. He leaned his back against the elevator wall and tilted his head up slightly.

Fortunately, the lights inside the elevator were still on, preventing it from plunging into total darkness.

The dazzling light shone down upon him, passing through his long, slender eyelashes and casting a patch of radiance into his pupils, which were exquisite to the extreme.

Duan Yimo sat in his wheelchair, his eyes pitch-black and deep as he stared at Song Chubai.

He had to admit that Song Chubai was extremely good-looking. His skin was milk-white, his bridge of the nose small and pert, and his lip shape exceptional. The almond eyes with their slightly drooping outer corners, placed beneath his slightly curved brows, always inadvertently leaked out a trace of light whenever he looked at him.

He was just like a bright moon that had pierced through heavy, thick dark clouds, finally casting its radiance upon the mortal world.

Clearly he was an illegitimate son, born in secrecy and raised in filth, yet he unexpectedly possessed a pair of pure, flawless eyes. Those pitch-black pupils resembled the purest obsidian in the world, making one unable to resist. Unable to resist wanting to carve them out and keep them as a treasured possession.

Duan Yimo’s eyelashes trembled slightly, concealing the flashing glint deep within his gaze, and then he slowly curved his lips into a smile.

“Achoo!” Song Chubai inexplicably sneezed, rubbed his nose, and muttered, “Who is thinking of me?”

When he said this, he looked at Duan Yimo, his gaze dropping to his legs.

Duan Yimo was wearing simple, loose pajamas, making it impossible to see the specific condition of his lower legs.

Thinking of the mission in this world, a remark that slipped out without passing through his brain tumbled right past his lips.

“Should I massage your legs for you?”

Duan Yimo’s expression froze for a moment, as if snapping back from some bizarre state, and he raised an eyebrow.

“Massage my legs?”

This little bride, what on earth is running through his head day in and day out?

“No need.” Duan Yimo indifferently rejected him.

Song Chubai withdrew his gaze with a hint of disappointment.

It was a bit of a pity, but there was no rush either. There was plenty of time ahead, and he would definitely find a way to touch his legs!

Song Chubai quickly perked up, sitting cross-legged on the floor, propping his small face with one hand as he looked at Duan Yimo.

“Mr. Duan, do you stay in this estate every single day?”

And without even using a phone, did he not find it boring?

This unspoken thought was what he actually wanted to say, though after observing Duan Yimo’s expression, he still refrained from asking it aloud.

Duan Yimo relaxed his body, leaning back against the wheelchair, one hand resting on the armrest while the other rested casually upon his thigh. With an indifferent expression, he let out an “Mn” from his nasal cavity.

“Do you not find it boring?” Song Chubai asked curiously.

“It is quite boring,” Duan Yimo said with a smile that was not quite a smile. “That is why they sent you over.”

His gaze falling upon Song Chubai’s eyes, he asked with a rare trace of interest, “Do you understand your positioning now?”

Song Chubai blinked and tentatively asked, “Keep you company and play?”

Duan Yimo chuckled softly.

He let out a low chuckle. “Saying it like that is not entirely wrong.”

As for what kind of play it would be, that would be up to him to decide.

Song Chubai did not think too much about it. With only the two of them in such a narrow space, failing to chat casually about something would genuinely feel a bit awkward.

Mn. Although he actually did not want to chat all that much.
