Kata opened his eyes.

They glowed slightly with a cold light that promised nothing but domination for all the lands.

He returned to the pavilion, and there, he picked out a metallic plate.Full novel: Rebirth of the Boundless Tyrant — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

After inspecting it, he decided that it was good enough for what he had in mind.

He took away all the plates and returned to the backyard.

With his ability to manipulate energy, he easily created heat powerful enough to melt the plate with a single touch.

The plates were made from an alloy similar to the best steel.

It flowed easily and hardened quickly.

Kata created a sphere using this metal, and then he began his work.

The first thing he did was control his body temperature such that he was not different from any common rock.

His temperature perfectly matched that of the environment.

This was very difficult to achieve while ensuring that he stayed alive, but with the God Spark having merged with him, Kata’s control over all forms of energy was as precise as it was terrible.

Kata isolated the area inside the core, cutting it off completely from the outside.

He then compressed the potential energy in this volume of space, creating highly agitated thermal molecules.

This process was very delicate, and a single wrong step meant repeating everything from the very start.

There was also the possibility of Kata blowing himself up.

Kata then sealed the sphere with an energy barrier.

This barrier was very precise, such that the sphere remained stable.

After this, Kata moved to the latrine and attached the sphere to the ceiling.

He then projected the thin outward radius of highly sensitive ambient thermal energy to serve as the boundary.

This boundary was fine-tuned to the exact temperature of the latrine.

The boundary was very thin and complex to the point that it remained unseen by the normal eye.

Kata could clearly see the energy that made up the boundary, but he was different.

With all this done, Kata walked out of the latrine and left the backyard.

There were a few guards that patrolled the inside of the mansion.

“Forgive me for disturbing your peace,” Kata said the moment he approached one of the guards.

He did so with his back bent and his eyes looking at the earth, as though there was no difference between him and the things that crawled beneath.

The female guard smiled before she broke into laughter with excitement.

She had never been so respected, even by the other slaves.

She was an average-looking woman with barely any distinctive features.

She was usually overlooked even by the other guards.

For Kata to now bow so deeply and speak to her so made her feel like she had achieved success.

“The venerable steward has ordered my humble self to give you this letter for delivery to the Immortal Lord.”

The guard was surprised by this, but she was still too high on her perceived glory to care too much about this minor matter.

She took the letter, which Kata was presenting with both hands as though handing it over to a goddess walking this mortal coil.

“What is your name?” she asked.

Kata thought about it for a second before he answered.

“This one’s name is Kata.

I am forever at your service.” These words got the woman even more excited.

She looked Kata over from head to toe.

Kata was still a child, not more than ten, but he was tall enough to pass for an adult human.

Kata was not sure whether the woman knew that he was a kid or if she just did not care.

“I will be seeing you around,” she said.

Kata continued bowing until the woman disappeared in the distance.

With his plans set up, Kata sat at the pavilion entrance and closed his eyes.

As he waited for the steward, he thought of ways to improve his rail gun and the new explosive he had created.

Time moved on, and after another hour, the steward returned.

He was pleased with how shiny his home was, and he even cracked a smile.

Still, Kata could see the disdain and hatred this man held toward the Wena.

“Good thing you will not be here long,” Kata thought as he was led to his next place of work.

Kata carried out his work in a very professional and efficient manner, and in a matter of days, most of the people in the mansion knew of his dedication and efficiency. New chapters come out on novelping . com first.

He did everything faster and better than anyone who had come before him.

After three days of work, the slaves who worked in the mine were taken back to the camp, and so were most of the slaves who were assigned to work in the mansion.

Kata and his mother managed to survive the axe, as their work had been deemed good enough.

They got to stay and serve in the mansion on a permanent basis.

This was some sort of promotion.

The Wena who stayed in the mansion had to work with the fear of being sent back to the mine hanging over their heads.

Kara, Kata’s mother, was a very good cook, and the Immortal Lord had apparently loved a sweet she had created.

Kata was very happy with this result.

Lasu, the leader of the Wena in this place, had on more than one occasion had the opportunity to permanently stay and work in the mansion, but she had always given it up, preferring to lead the Wena in the camp.

This was because she loved the power she held back at camp, while in the mansion, she had no power at all and had to scrape and beg constantly.

This time around, she had no choice, and Kata had ordered her to stay in the mansion with the promise that if she disobeyed him and went back to camp, he would give up his opportunity to work in the mansion and return to camp with his only mission being her death.

When he explained how exactly he would be killing her, Lasu had been so shaken that she did not dare disobey.

She had left camp after appointing her successor, and she now hoped that she was not being led to her death.

Even though the steward had rewarded Kata’s hard work with a promotion, Kata still felt not a drop of remorse over what was about to happen.

He knew that the steward had only promoted him to mansion slave because he had to.

Half the people in the mansion already knew of Kata’s great abilities, and if the steward were to let him go just like that, news could even reach the Immortal Lord, costing the steward his position.

This was not a risk the steward was willing to take for mere slaves.

Kata and the few Wena who had been promoted were given new uniforms that showed their rank as slaves, and they were then shown to the slave quarters.

It was a large building far from the main pavilions.

The building was next to the farm, but it was still better than the slave camp.

The building had one hundred rooms.

Each room was occupied by five slaves.

There was no division between the men and the women.

This was because the humans wanted the Wena to reproduce as much as possible.

Wena slaves were very valuable, after all.

Kata got to share a room with his mother, and this was a very good development.
