Qin Fei frowned, his displeasure obvious. “Qin Qing, that’s enough. We came here to ask for help, not to criticize someone.” He then turned to Lin Ya. “You should say a little less too! Ningning isn’t the kind of person you think she is!”
Lin Ya was speechless. Wasn’t this guy supposed to defend his own sister first? Why was he immediately speaking up for Li Ningning instead? Besides, Li Ningning was not even here. What was the point of defending her like this?
“Is this why she can be friends with Lin Ningning while I can only be her enemy?” Lin Ya was genuinely curious this time.

Qin Fei was completely bewildered by Lin Ya’s outrageous move. It was his first time seeing someone shamelessly ask others to become their parents. Still, her words made him slightly question his habit of always putting Li Ningning first. He felt as though he had done something wrong, yet at the same time, he also felt that he had not.
