The very cause of so much pain in this world was standing in front of them. Its aura unmatched by anything in this world, and in its hand, it held Dante.

"Please let the boy go, Heylel!" Merlin begged, his head struggling to look up. He tried pushing away Heylel’s magical aura, but nothing could overcome the power of a primordial. No normal man could ever dream of fighting against a primordial, but Merlin wasn’t any normal man...

Reality glitched, and within a second, Merlin had closed the distance between him and Heylel. He grabbed Heylel’s hand, shocking the king of hell.

"What was that?" Heylel asked. He was capable of seeing a thousand years into the future, but he couldn’t see Merlin coming after him. "What kind of power did you use?"

"Something you wouldn’t understand," Merlin said. He shot a beam of Uzu at Heylel, but the king of hell simply slapped it away.

"That is not a power you should possess yet. You have yet to awaken, so what is that power?" Heylel asked once more.

"It’s a technique born from the death of my world. The reason I survived the destruction of my kingdom, and I consider it a curse, but I will use it to defeat you today."

"OBLITUS ES," Merlin chanted again, and reality glitched once more. The chaos weapon had already been lodged deep inside Heylel’s chest before he realized it.

"You think this toy could kill me? I am far beyond those messy fools you call gods. I was one of the first things to be created in this reality! Do not compare me to such weak creatures!" Heylel screamed in anger. He pulled the chaos sword from his chest and threw it to the ground.

"I know it can’t kill you. But it made you pull back your magical energy," Merlin said with a smirk.

Heylel looked behind at Alexander, but it was too late; he had already gotten up.

Alexander grabbed Heylel and held him tight.

"You made one mistake, and that was taking over a mortal’s body. If you had come to this world in your original form, then you would have easily defeated me," Merlin said as he pointed a finger at Heylel’s face.

"How dare you. I will kil—" Merlin destroyed his entire head before he could finish talking.

His headless body dropped to the ground. "We have to leave, now." Merlin grabbed all his friends and was about to teleport far away from the village.

Fear. That was all they felt, afraid to look behind and see the creature they had just angered.

"You foolish child. Did you really think it would be this easy to destroy the first primordial?" Heylel said as his head slowly regrew on his body.

Merlin threw the chaos weapon to Alexander. "Come on, let’s keep this bastard busy," Merlin said and jumped forward.

"OBLITUS ES." Reality glitched. Merlin’s nose bled from the overuse of his technique. He felt like his head might explode, but this wasn’t a time for him to think about that.

Merlin grabbed Heylel by the head and slammed him into the ground. Alexander came in and stabbed the chaos sword into Heylel’s skull, but Heylel recovered instantly and ripped off Alexander’s left leg.

"Ahhh!" Alexander screamed out in pain.

It was a bloody battle. A fight that none of them would ever forget.

"OBLITUS ES," Merlin chanted, as blood spewed from his mouth. The technique he kept using was also slowly killing him, but saving Alexander was his first priority. He grabbed Alexander and teleported back to where Laila and the others were standing.

Alexander’s leg was slowly healing, but the pain he felt from these injuries started taking a toll on him.

"Can we defeat him?" Damon asked.

"No," that was all Merlin could say. "But we can buy ourselves some time. I just need to draw an Uzu cycle and we can banish him back to hell-"

A kick to the head sent Merlin flying, as Heylel appeared behind them. Merlin crashed into the houses in the village, destroying them upon impact.

Merlin’s blood trailed onto the ground, leaving weird patterns, but strangely it also left beautiful flowers.

Merlin’s breathing was heavy, and he knew if they made any mistakes then it would cost them their lives. He summoned his magic staff into his hand and moved at a speed no wizard should be able to move. He stabbed the pointy side of the staff into Heylel and blasted magical energy into his body, incapacitating him.

He teleported him to the spot where his blood had trailed and a cycle surrounded by flowers had formed. Alexander and Damon ran towards him and pinned Heylel inside the cycle.

"SANGUIS OCCISORUM, VOCEM MEAM; BE GONE YOU EVIL BASTARD," Merlin chanted, and a flash of light came from the cycle.

White wings appeared on Heylel’s back as he tried to pull himself off the Uzu cycle, but Alexander and Damon weren’t loosening their grip on him. They stepped on his wings and pushed him through the cycle.

"My blood runs inside you, grandson. I shall be back for what is mine. I shall return when the one bearing the flames of creation is born, and when the child of the end comes into this world," Heylel said to Merlin. He laughed as he was being dragged back to hell.

"Grandson? What do you mean?" Merlin shouted as Heylel’s body slowly vanished into the Uzu cycle. The king of hell had left him with so many questions about his identity and his father’s true origin.

Merlin knew this wasn’t over yet. A war will be coming sooner or later, and the entire world will be engulfed by the chaos.

The fate of this world rests on a child that hasn’t even been born yet, and that thought scared him. Would such a child bring peace or burn the world to the ground?
