Mo Yehan reached out, lifting her chin. “I can wait, but once I think you’re ready, you won’t be able to escape.”

She bit her lip without a word.

The boy leaned in again, kissing her gently—soft pecks like feathers brushing against Tian Xi’s heart, making it tremble uncontrollably.Full novel: Reborn as the Obsessive Mr. Mo’s Soft and Obedient Little Fairy — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

…

That evening, Mo Yehan saw Tian Xi home again. They boarded the bus together.

“I want to sit in your lap,” Tian Xi declared from the back row.

Mo Yehan’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he stammered, “N-No.”

“I insist.” Tian Xi pouted, her fair cheeks puffing up adorably, pink and tender—enough to make Mo Yehan want to give her everything he had.

He nodded slightly, taking a seat by the window and patting his thigh.

Tian Xi’s face lit up instantly. She carefully settled onto his lap, then snuggled deeper into his embrace. Fortunately, the bus was nearly empty at night, and no one turned to glance at the young couple.

Nestled in Mo Yehan’s arms, bathed in the summer night breeze, Tian Xi felt so blissful she could cry. Being with Mo Yehan was even more wonderful than she had imagined.

She tilted her head up and, seizing a moment when he wasn’t paying attention, kissed his chin—just a light peck. The boy’s body shuddered intensely. Noticing his reaction, she found it amusing and kissed him again. His response was just as strong.

She whispered, “Mo Yehan, you seem a bit sensitive.”

Mo Yehan’s eyes reddened at the corners as he let out a faint, almost inaudible “Mm.”

“Why are you so sensitive?” she asked curiously.

“Because… of you,” he stammered in explanation. “So please, don’t tease me.”

Tian Xi let out a melodious laugh and leaned closer to his ear. “So it’s because of me that you’re so sensitive.”

Those words alone were enough to unravel Mo Yehan, stripping him of all defenses.

And with her pressed so close, her sweet aura enveloping him completely, he could no longer restrain himself. Losing the self-control he took pride in, he kissed her lips—softly, tenderly, careful not to startle her.

When the kiss ended, Tian Xi breathed lightly. “We’ve kissed so many times today. Do you think we’ll get tired of it?”

“I won’t. Will you?” Mo Yehan asked earnestly, afraid that if she grew weary of it, he wouldn’t dare kiss her too often.

“I won’t either. I was just worried you might.” Tian Xi sighed softly.

Mo Yehan hurried to explain, “H-How could I? I still… I haven’t kissed enough.”

“Why are you stammering again?” Tian Xi asked in surprise.

She remembered that Mo Yehan never used to stammer. Why did he do it so often now?

Mo Yehan sighed. “I get nervous around you.”

He was torn between hope and fear—having her but terrified of losing her.

The feeling was tormenting.

How could he hold onto her without the fear of loss?

Tian Xi took his hand and pressed it against her cheek, murmuring, “Me too. I’m always too nervous and impatient.” She didn’t know how best to love and cherish him.

Mo Yehan seemed moved by her words, his eyes tinged with redness as he whispered, “So the Little Princess feels the same as I do.”

He was utterly content.

Even if she were deceiving him, he would gladly accept it.

The two leaned against each other, sharing whispers only they could hear—words that required them to be close to catch every syllable. As they spoke, their lips inevitably met again, and all murmurs melted into their kisses…

They stepped off the bus. After walking just a few steps, Tian Xi asked Mo Yehan to carry her: “I don’t want to walk. Carry me.”

She didn’t need any excuse—she just wanted to order Mo Yehan directly.

Mo Yehan felt as if he had hit the jackpot, trembling as he asked, “What if your family sees us?”

“If they see us, even better. I can introduce you to them,” Tian Xi said with a smile.

Seeing how open she was, Mo Yehan’s depressed heart instantly brightened. He scooped her up in his arms, a bewitching smile curling at the corners of his lips. “Tian Xi, you’re so adorable.”

“Just adorable?” Tian Xi murmured softly, “Actually, I can also be a bit seductive. Would you like that?”

Mo Yehan’s Adam’s apple bobbed. “As long as it’s you, I’ll like it.”

“Not just my good-girl image?” Tian Xi asked, still uncertain.

“No,” Mo Yehan replied calmly.

“Alright, I’ll give you a surprise tomorrow,” Tian Xi said sweetly.

Mo Yehan’s eyes burned with intensity. “I’ll be waiting.”

When they reached the villa entrance, he set her down.

Reluctant to see him leave, Tian Xi threw herself into his arms, stood on her tiptoes to give him a kiss, and then walked into the villa.

Big Brother called out, “Oh my, little sister, you’re so busy—off dating again?”

Second Brother hurried over, his eyes wide with concern. “Little sister, you’re not really falling for that Mo Yehan guy, are you?”

Tian Xi nodded. “Of course. Once I graduate from university, I’m going to marry him.”

She then hurried upstairs, her footsteps light and quick.

Entering her bedroom, she nervously and tremblingly took out Mo Yehan’s white shirt, spread it out on the bed, and slowly lay down on it. It felt as if she were still in his embrace—so gentle, so comfortable.

She took a photo and sent it to Mo Yehan.

Mo Yehan was on his way to work when he opened his phone and saw the picture. His body trembled violently, and feeling dizzy, he replied with just two words: “Good night.”

Upon receiving those two words, Tian Xi hugged her phone tightly and drifted off to sleep with a sweet smile.
