While she drifted into dreamland, Mo Yehan had already arrived at the bar.
He found a job as a waiter at an upscale bar, with a high salary sufficient to cover his mother’s medical expenses and living costs.
The work was demanding, requiring him to work from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. every night. However, compared to his previous three jobs a day, this single shift left him with much more time, allowing him to date the Little Princess during the day.
He changed into his waiter uniform—a black shirt and black trousers. Tall, nearly 190 cm, upright and handsome yet gloomy and aloof, he caught the attention of the wealthy young women frequenting the bar.
Each time they visited, they specifically requested him to accompany them for drinks, but he always refused. He was a waiter, not a drinking companion.
The more aloof he remained, the more people tried to win him over with money. Yet, no matter how high the offer, he never accompanied anyone.
This only heightened their curiosity, especially for a wealthy woman named Manli. She had been eyeing him for a long time, trying every means to seduce him without success. Eventually, she had him investigated and discovered he was a clean-cut university student, a top academic achiever—no wonder he carried himself with such pride.
One night, after Mo Yehan delivered drinks, Manli grabbed his arm. “Mo Yehan, don’t go. Stay with me.”
Mo Yehan’s eyes darkened with hostility!
“I looked into you. I know your name, your university. I never expected a top student like you to work in a place like this. You must be in need of money, right? I can take care of you. Name your price.” Manli lit a cigarette and took a deep drag. The boy before her was clean and pure, a rarity in the nightlife scene.
“You can’t afford me.” He tried to leave.
But four bodyguards in black suddenly appeared at the entrance, surrounding him. “Kid, don’t refuse a toast only to drink a forfeit.”
Manli stood up, her voice seductive. “I’ve taken a liking to you. Tonight, you’ll comply, whether you want to or not. Afterward, I’ll give you plenty of money.”
Mo Yehan sneered, “I told you, you can’t afford me.”
In the next moment, he swiftly and efficiently beat the four men surrounding him to the ground.
His hands stained with blood, he wiped them calmly, as if accustomed to such fights.
Manli was utterly captivated by his cold, fighting stance. “Impressive. But I’ve heard about your overwhelming combat power, so I brought more people. Let’s see just how much stamina you have.”
She clapped her hands, and six more men entered, surrounding Mo Yehan once again.
His gaze icy, Mo Yehan fought fiercely and wordlessly, though these six proved more challenging, draining much of his energy before he subdued them.
Looking at the six bodyguards lying on the floor, he coldly asked, “Had enough?”
“I told you, I’m determined to have you tonight.”
Manli had no intention of letting go of this young man with such explosive stamina. If he fought this well, she wondered if his performance in bed would also be overwhelmingly powerful.
She clapped again, and ten burly male bodyguards entered.
The private room, which could accommodate fifty people, suddenly felt cramped with their presence.
Surrounded once more, Mo Yehan’s breathing grew heavier. If the fight continued, he would surely be captured.
But running away wasn’t in his nature; he had no choice but to endure.
After taking down four more men, his stamina began to wane.
Breathing heavily, he leaned against the wall as the remaining men closed in step by step…Not far away was Manli’s triumphant face: “Tonight, you’re mine.”
Mo Yehan had bruises at the corners of his eyes, on his face, and at the edges of his lips. Was he really going to be defiled? No, this couldn’t happen!
He took out his phone and with difficulty dialed a number: “Come save me.”
The moment he ended the call, he was seized by bodyguards. Under Manli’s orders, they dragged him toward the underground parking garage. Along the way, no one in the bar dared to intervene.
Just as the elevator doors were closing, a long leg blocked them.
Then a tall, cold man appeared in the elevator. He appeared to be in his forties, handsome and captivating, dressed in an expensive black suit that exuded an air of refined nobility.
Manli in the elevator gasped in shock: “Grandpa Mo!”Mo Feng of the Imperial Capital – the richest man, decisive in killing, cold and ruthless.” Anyone who crossed him was doomed.
Mo Feng looked down at Mo Yehan and reached out to take him from the rigid bodyguard’s grasp, saying softly: “Little one, you’ve finally come to beg me.”
Manli trembled in fear: “Grandpa Mo, what is your relationship with him?”
“What do you think?” Mo Feng coldly retorted.
Manli: “Grandpa Mo! Mo Yehan! Could it be… could it be that Mo Yehan is your long-lost son?”
As these words left her mouth, she collapsed to her knees with a thud: “Grandpa Mo, I didn’t know he was your son! I was wrong! Please give me another chance!”
Mo Feng picked up Mo Yehan and signaled to his assistant behind him.
Assistant Xiao Li stepped forward: “From the Man family? How dare you lay hands on our Young Master Mo? Prepare for bankruptcy.”
Manli wailed hysterically: “No, no! Grandpa Mo, I didn’t know he was Young Master Mo! If I had known his identity, I wouldn’t have dared even with a hundred times the courage!”
…
Mo Feng carried Mo Yehan into the black limousine and was about to have the driver take him to the hospital when Mo Yehan opened his eyes and said coldly: “I want to leave.”
The previously bloodthirsty Mo Feng immediately became placating and cautiously persuaded: “Son, you’re injured. You need to go to the hospital.”
Mo Yehan didn’t even look at him: “Open the car door.” He spoke each word deliberately.
“Son, I know you dislike me. I won’t go to the hospital – let Uncle Xiao Li take you instead, alright?”The formidable Grandpa Mo of the Imperial Capital was acting utterly humble.”
