A hologram panel appeared in front of me, showing several pictures of the restaurant, including the rooftop, and even the menu.

“I think this place is perfect.” I smiled.

Please book it for me, thank you!”

[Booking a table at The Golden Phoenix…]

After nearly five minutes, the system’s voice rang again.

[Reservation successful!

I booked it under your name and requested fresh flowers for your table.]

[The total is $1,900, including tax and service charge.]

[Deducting $1,900 from Host’s balance.]

[Remaining Balance: $39,125]

I raised an eyebrow at my remaining balance.

“Hey, system I could swear I didn’t have this much money, what happened?”

[Host has successfully received her payment from Mirelle Beauty]

I gave two quick nods in succession finally understanding.

“Oh, that makes sense.”

I glanced at the clock and saw it was already 2 p.m., which meant I only had around five hours to prepare.

Five hours sounded like a lot, but honestly, it was barely enough if I wanted to get my makeup done, and touch up my hair.

Maybe I should just go to the salon and let them handle both my makeup and hair.

Yes, that sounded like the best idea!

After a quick shower, I asked Mr.

Bubba to drive me out again.

However, he looked a bit hesitant.

“Young Madam, are you sure you don’t want to rest today?

After what happened earlier, you must be exhausted.”

Ever since the news about what happened between me and Audrey at the café spread, everyone in the mansion kept walking on eggshells around me, and whenever I caught their eyes, it always carried that same look of pity.

There was nothing wrong with that.

In fact, I felt relieved that at least they only looked at me with sympathy instead of hatred.

“I’m fine, Mr.

Bubba.” I gave him a small smile.

“If I stay home, I’ll only get more stressed.

That’s why I asked my husband to have dinner outside tonight, and before that, I want to go to the salon to get ready.”

Mr.

Bubba let out a heavy sigh, then looked at me with more pity.

At last, he gave up and drove me straight to Springfield’s luxury district.

The moment I stepped into Celeste Beauty Lounge, I was in awe, the whole place was bathed in a warm light, and had the faint scent of lavender.

A beautiful red-head approached me with a smile on her face.

“Hello, what can we do for you?”

I leaned forward with a smile.

“I have a date tonight.

Please make sure I look beautiful.”

“Of course!” she beamed, signaling for the stylists.

“Leave everything to us.”

In no time, I was guided to a chair, warm towels wrapped around my shoulders, while one stylist worked on my hair and another prepared the makeup station.

About an hour and a half later, they finally finished styling my hair and applying flawless makeup to my face.

Ever since I had been in Eliana’s body, I had never once actually put on full makeup, so when I saw my reflection in the mirror, I couldn’t help but be stunned.

There’s a saying that working on a beautiful face is the hardest thing because with just one wrong move, a makeup artist could ruin the perfect sculpture.

But the makeup artist nailed it!

My reflection looked breathtaking, almost too flawless.

I couldn’t believe the stunningly gorgeous woman staring back at me in the mirror was actually me.

I turned my head from side to side, hardly recognizing myself.

The silky waves of my hair framed my face perfectly, my lips gleamed with just the right shade of red, and my eyes sparkled brighter than I’d ever seen before.

The receptionist clapped her hands softly.

“Young Miss, you look absolutely divine.

I believe your date won’t be able to take his eyes off you tonight!”

I gave her a bright smile, picking up my bag.

“Let’s hope so.

[Ding!

[Remaining Balance: $39,125]

After leaving the salon, I headed straight to a boutique to buy the dress I’d wear for my date with Damien tonight.

Since my face and hair already looked flawless, thank you, Eliana’s perfect genes, I figured I didn’t need a gown that screamed outrageous.

In the end, I chose a simple yet elegant deep blue cocktail dress that hugged my figure without being over the top.

To complete the look, I picked satin heels and a pearl clutch.

When I tried them all together, I almost couldn’t believe my own reflection.

The dress set off my pale skin perfectly, and my dark, curly hair only complimented the look in more.

In short I looked like I belonged on a magazine cover.

[Deducting $450 from Host’s balance: Boutique Purchase]

[Remaining Balance: $38,675]

[Dear Host, Your system advices you not to take this quest lightly]

[There’s still a chance you might fail.]

I raised one eyebrow, feeling a little confused.

“Fail?

What are you talking about?

How could any man look at me and not say I’m beautiful?” I swept my hand dramatically from my face down to my waist.

“…

Look at this!”

[System reminder: there are many words similar to ‘beautiful’ and ‘gorgeous,’ Host.]

I brushed off the system’s warning, thinking it was being ridiculous.

Honestly, what kind of man wouldn’t call me beautiful?

Even random strangers on the street just couldn’t help but compliment me!

But the moment I met Damien at the restaurant, I finally understood what the system meant.

We had agreed to come separately because going back home first would have been a waste of time, so I walked straight to the rooftop.

He was already there, sitting at our table, looking absolutely handsome, as usual of course but the second his gaze landed on me, everything else just seemed to fade into the background.

“Eliana, you look …” His eyes traveled slowly from my head down to my heels, lingering on every detail as if storing it all in his head.

“…

stunning.”
