Sen watched as Orson and Corvin moved toward a wolf on the ground. On the ground around the forest, there was a giant crater, and inside it was the wolf. It was large, and the ground around it pulsed with an emerald light that throbbed like a slow heartbeat.

As they looked in to see the wolf, the core was revealed as a miniature emerald sun glowing at the center of the beast.

Corvin jumped down as he slipped the rest of the way to the drop, and Orson looked at the beast. This was the first time he was seeing the beast people were talking about, and according to what Sen and Corvin said, it was a Ravager—a third rank monster.Full novel: Reincarnated Immortal: Healing My Crippled Storm Saint Wife — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

As Orson looked down to feel the energy of the monster’s body, he froze.

What the hell.

It felt like he was an ant looking at a star sun. It was the same power as a Golden Core realm cultivator in his old world, but more powerful. Did that even make sense? Orson was not really sure.

He looked at Corvin and Sen. Sen was busy vibing, looking up, and Corvin was busy about to reach the core.

Weird, he thought.

First, Corvin. I don’t trust him as far as I can throw him, and my gut has been warning about the guy for a while. Still don’t know why, but based on his actions, one thing is clear—this bastard loves money.

Because Orson was sure Corvin knew what a beast like that could do. That beast could wipe out a whole district. And if he got cold feet by sensing it, it means Corvin also knew what the beast could do. But still chose to go. That tells a lot about Corvin.

Not that Orson cared much. Everybody was selfish. If his brother that he grew up with when he was just a baby could betray him, then who can you really trust?

And on the other hand was Sen. Orson still did not buy the act that he was looking for a way up when Sen just appeared. Coincidences were not a good sign, and from what he could tell about the guy, he looked like a person who was too lazy to even go out. Funny enough, his ability even proved that. But apart from that, Orson had not been able to read Sen.

Just then, they heard a boom.

Sen quickly went on alert as he unsheathed his blade from his side. The blade moved like water as he sent energy from his hand to the sword. It glowed before Sen moved and slashed the air, but this time it was different.

Unlike the rifts, it just looked like he scarred reality itself. Orson was shocked by the display of power from him.

As Sen’s hand glowed the same as the scar, he inserted his hand into the scar, and Corvin, who was so close to the core, felt someone pull him back.

Just then, a hand grabbed him and pulled him, and before Corvin could react, he found himself back where he started with Sen looking at him.

Before he talked, Sen’s glowing hand moved into the scar again and removed an emerald miniature sun before handing it to Corvin and said, "You and Orson should leave now."

With that, his blade moved, and now a tear opened in reality leading outside before Sen moved. Before Corvin and Orson could react, Sen launched himself to the third island.

What beast could have caused that explosion?

With that, Sen opened his system window and moved to the item where he takes a glass. From his system, it was a spatial glass. Sen used it when looking for needles in a haystack, so he used it to look up, and he was shocked at what he saw. A whole island was collapsing and was about to clash with another island.

Wow, looks like I have to bolt.

But before he could move, he saw another figure falling with the island as his glass looked.

Wait, was that Rain?

Sen shook his head. How was that possible? But the glass was clear.

Sen just sighed. I have to go.

But something stopped him, so he turned back.

He stopped. No, no, no. That is danger you run from, and besides, why would I help when I know I will just turn into food paste?

Sen just sighed as he looked up. With a sigh, he used the glass to look back up before using his sword to create a scar in reality. He was not planning on doing anything—just pull her out. So as his hand glowed, Sen inserted it.
