"AHHHHHH!’’ Hidim screamed as Karna’s fingers went into his eyes.

However, Hidim didn’t back down and swung his staff with his eyes closed.

Karan bent down. This time he dodged his attack, not because of fear of taking damage or anything. He dodged it, well, for no reason.Full novel: Reincarnated In a World Similar To Mythology — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

I can’t fight like this. What should I do?

Karna thought, moving a few steps away from him. He didn’t want to waste time boxing with this guy since there was no point in exchanging punches.

Fighting like this would drag on for hours, if not days. After all, in front of him stood an Asura with massive strength, and his durability and stamina wouldn’t be a joke either.

So there’s no chance of this guy getting tired anytime soon.

Karna looked around to find something suitable with which he could at least give him some real damage.

"HUMAN! I WILL EAT YOU ALIVE!" Hidim came running toward Karan, with his eyes opened wide, though now they were red; even blood was coming from his left eye, but it seemed pain wasn’t bothering this Asura much.

Karna ignored Hidim, his gaze shifting to Hidimbi behind him. She stood with her eyes closed and her lips moving. She was muttering something.

In the next second, Karna saw a giant covered blade appear in her hand.

!This will do.

A smile appeared on Karna’s face, and without wasting time, he tried to summon the blade, and the blade appeared in his hand.

He didn’t need to mutter anything; he just thought of the blade, and he got it— the blade was the same as hers.

Hidim again swung his stuff on him, and Karna swung his blade in exchange.

The staff clashed with Karna’s blade, and the blade shattered in half.

What! Why was this blade so weak?

Karna didn’t believe his cool blade was just broken like that, by stupid-looking Stone Age stuff.

Hidimbi saw him again copying her Maya.

She knew it was her Maya; not similar- it was the same as hers, not even a little stronger or weaker. It was her, but she didn’t lose anything; he just copied it and created it as his own so perfectly that there was no difference at all.

How? Maybe he was blessed.

It was only possible by the blessing of the supreme gods; no other god could grant such a unique power.

Hidimbi watched him exchanging blows with Hidim. His divine golem armor and earrings simply made him look more beautiful. There wasn’t even a speck of dust on him.

Who was he?

At first glance— When, he didn’t even show his strength, and Maya, or she wasn’t able to bite him before seeing anything— Hidimbi knew he wasn’t a normal human. He was just too beautiful to be compared with humans; Even gods didn’t possess such charm.

Was he an incarnation of the supreme god?

Another beautiful incarnation comparable to Mohini— it was the incarnation of the supreme god as the most beautiful woman whose charm no one could resist; she was so beautiful that Asuras handed over a nectar of immortality that they had grabbed before the gods, but they just gave it to her in enchantment of her charm. Hidimbi was comparing him with her.

Hidimbi shook her head and stopped thinking about those things.

I need to help him!.

She saw him creating a new blade again and again, but every time it was broken by just a single clash against Hidim’s stuff.

Even if she helped him, it wouldn’t be easy to defeat Hidim, as he was simply better than her in Maya, and even strength-wise, Hidim was more than two times stronger than her.

However, right now he was completely distracted. So, Hidimbi moved.

She was done obeying her brother; maybe this was her only chance to get her freedom.

And she didn’t want her brother to kill him; she saw him first. He was hers now.

Hidimbi enhanced her blade with Maya; she made it stronger, sharper and put everything into a single attack— by making her body stronger.

This single chance she would get; if she missed this, they were both going to die and be eaten by Hidim.

In less than a second, she was behind Hidim and swung her blade at his neck.

But her blade hit only empty air.

Huh? NO!.

Hidimbi realized he was never off guard.

"HAHAHA, I KNOW YOU COWARDLY BITCH WOULD TRY SOMETHING LIKE THIS. YOU THINK YOU CAN STAY ALIVE AFTER BETRAYING ME? I WILL GIVE YOU A MORE PAINFUL DEATH THAN THAT, HUMAN!... Ahhh?!"

"You talk too much. "

Karna appeared behind Hidim and swung his blade at his neck. Slicing through the half, his blade struck against the neck bone.

However, Karna raced his foot, placing it against Hidim’s back. He pulled the blade and pushed it toward his neck with all his might, completely severing his head from his body.

"Few! Finally done," Karna muttered, pushing Hidim’s massive body with his leg. The body fell forward with a loud thud, raising a cloud of dust.

What a day.. Well, not so bad.

After all, just after getting his divine blessing, he gained some abilities: to increase his size, to summon blades and short-range teleportation.

So, time wasn’t wasted. It was invested.

Karna looked at the massive amount of blood coming out of his body, making the mud red.

Karna raised his head and looked up at the sky. It started to lighten with the new morning, while his divine armor and earrings disappeared from his body.

Huh?

However, just as he looked at Hidimbi, question marks appeared in his head. He saw tears rolling down from her eyes on her cheeks.

Why was she crying?!.

Karna didn’t understand. Was she crying over her brother’s death, but wasn’t she also wanting to kill him, or was she crying because I killed him?

Karna thought that must be it; she would probably be crying because she wasn’t able to kill him with her own hands. Karna wasn’t able to think of any other reason.
