Vidura stood next to the king. His brother (the king) was blind, so Vidura narrated him everything that was happening.

Vidura’s eyes didn’t miss anything. He observed even the smallest of small details, and because of that, he could see what others could not.

He could see that everything was leading toward the division of Kuru Vansh. (Vansh = lineage. family tree)Full novel: Reincarnated In a World Similar To Mythology — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

It’s not like Vidura didn’t try to warn them. He warned his brother, but his brother and others, but no one listened to him, as he was just the son of a maid.

Because of his birth, his warning never landed heavily on those pure-blood royals.

Vidura’s gaze moved to the crowd.

The people of Hastinapura were divided into two. Half of them were shouting for Bheem, and half of them were shouting for Duryodhana.

As their exchange continued, Duryodhana’s mace landed on Bheem’s head, making him stumble, but Bheem didn’t back down and swung his mace again with a scream like an angry elephant.

’’ Stop! Aswathama, separate them!’’ Their Guru Dronacharya shouted.

Vidura saw some worry on Dronacharya’s face as he pressed his own heart. If someone did not stop them, they would kill each other.

Even though the clash between Bheem and Duryodhana was short, just about two minutes, every attack was filled with anger and hatred, as if aimed for life, nothing like a duel between brothers.

’’ Yes, Father!" Taking an order from his father, Ashwatthama ran to stop them.

Ashwatthama was as tall as Duryodhana and four years older than both. He had a light-golden gem attached to the middle of his forehead; he was born with it.

Vidura knew Ashwatthama was born from the blessing of Lord Asher, so he was perfectly capable of stopping those two wild, angry elephants.

Ashwatthama simply jumped between them and stopped their clashing maces with bare hands.

"Enough!" He said.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!, , "

"AHHHHHHHHHH..."

Duryodhana and Bheem both screamed, which clearly showed how angry they were, pressing in their hearts, as if saying it was left unfinished.

"Vidur, don’t stay silent. Tell me what was happening?!’’ His brother asked.

"My king, the duel between princes had taken the turn of a real battle. They fought as if they were thirsty for each other’s blood. Aychra putra Ashwatthama had to stop them.’’ Vidura delivered the truth.

"M-my son Suryodana, nothing happened to him, right?! W-why did he scream!"

"Prince Suryodana was fine. He was just angry, as he stopped by Ashwatthama," Vidura said, thinking in his heart that his brother had again just asked about Duryodhana.

Vidura shook his head in disappointment.

He saw both Duryodhana and Bheem calm when Ashwatthama said something to them. They looked toward the Pitamah Bhishma.

Pitamah Bhishma didn’t say anything, nor did he stand for a seat; Vidura saw his arms closed and fists clenched; it told the whole story.

He was sure Pitamah Bhishma got a clear picture of the true hatred between Pandu’s and Dhritarashtra’s sons.

Earlier, Pitamah Bhishma was observing the crowd; half of the people were shouting the name of Bheem and half were shouting the name of Duryodhana.

Vidura thought: Pitamah Bhishma saw clearly that Kuru Vansh was already divided. He decided to advise Pitamah to divide the kingdom into two parts and let both Duryodhana and Yudhishthira rule, or the end would be tragic.

Down there on the ground, Drona and Bheem lowered their head.

Vidura could see they had just lowered their heads out of respect but still didn’t realise their real mistake; they felt shame to stop halfway in front of the public like children; there was no regret that they were trying to kill each other as brothers.

Soon, Dronacharya announced them as equals in the mace fight. The public roared, while he made the other princes show their skills.

Vidura glanced in a specific direction in the crowd, where he found a two-eyed man. A young man with a divine charm. First seeing him, Vidura thought he was the incarnation of the Supreme Lord that sage Vyasa told them years ago. He was so beautiful that those who saw him once were not able to focus on the prince’s performance, as their eyes kept returning to him again and again.

But his appearance didn’t match the rumors he heard about the incarnation of Lord Preserver.

Who was he? Vidura thought and gazed back at the arena, and began to narrate to his brother.

After everyone’s turn, it was Arjuna’s turn.

Karna was most excited to see this because now he could get some divine arrows from Arjuna.

Everyone before just showed their skills and strength, but Arjuna was going to use divine arrows; at least, he used them in mythology.

" Husband," Hidimbi clung to his arm.

" Hmm? Karna raised his brows.

" I think the second person found out I’m an Asura. He looked at us many times," Hidimbi whispered in his ear.

" Who?" Karna asked.

"The one who stood next to the king."

Karna glanced at the king and the guy who stood next to him. It was Vidura, the king’s advisor.

" Well, it didn’t matter, but why were you looking at the boring stuff? Don’t you like the show down there?"

" I’m worried they will imprison us separately!"

"OH, come on, there was no medicine for needless worry. Um, want a kiss?"

"Yes! Yes," Hidimbi nodded quickly.

Karna chuckled before he leaned forward and gave her a small peck on her lips. But he even looked at Hidimbi’s face; words of public fall in his ears.

"T-they had modesty!"

" So, shameless.. "

"Who are they..."

Those who saw them started whispering to others. Karna saw a young woman covering her face with her hand and looking at them between her fingers; her cheeks were all red.

Karna playfully smiled at her.

"Ahhhhhh!" The woman screamed, looking away.

Karna laughed.

"Husband, what are you doing in front of me?"

"I don’t do anything."

Hidimbi didn’t stop glaring at him.

"Oh, come on, I just smiled ", Karna complained.
