"Husband, should I take us back to Mayavana?’’ Hidimbi asked, looking at him.

She didn’t look panicked, Karna thought she would be, but instead she was blushing.

Karna wanted to ask her why she was blushing. However, he didn’t— fearing what if she thought he was dense or something. So, he instead focused on her question.Full novel: Reincarnated In a World Similar To Mythology — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

" Why?" Karna asked, spinning the arrow between his fingers.

We had walked all the way here. Now what’s the point of going back there in the forest?

’’With my Maya, I could only take us to the places that I already saw. If I took us just somewhere on the way here, they could sense my Asuri Maya and find us in no time," Hidimbi said, holding his hand, intertwining her fingers with his.

Yeah, she wasn’t shy, though she acted shy sometimes. Only she knew why. Though her earlier blush was real, it was still there just a little bit.

"I see. Well, no need for that. Let’s see what they want to do, " Karna said.

" Sigh, fine, Husband, " Hidimbi said.

"You’re already tired of me, aren’t you?" Karna asked, after seeing her let out a long, exhausting sigh.

’’N-no, no! Husband, I just want to spend some alone time with you. Here it was so much bother.’’

’’ We had just spent a week in a hut completely alone. Well, don’t worry, though. I know it was not enough. You will get your alone time until you get tired of me.’’

"I would never! Hidimbi retorted.

"We would see, " Karna chuckled.

They kept talking, ignoring every eye on them. The crowd’s whispers grew louder and louder.

They didn’t know yet that Hidimbi was an Asura. Their whispers were mostly about confusion: why their prince attacked him, or how he was able to catch his arrow. What was this armor and earring he was wearing? And how shameless they were, getting intimate in public.

"Now let’s go down there. I don’t want them to chase and come to bother us later, when we would be spending some alone time.’’

"Yes," Hidimbi happily nodded.

Hidimbi moved her lips, but she wasn’t speaking. It appeared she was again chanting some kind of spell, which Karna wasn’t interested in knowing at all.

Right now, he could directly use all the powers with a single thought.

So he was afraid that if he heard her spell, maybe he would also copy the requirement to use the spell before using his powers.

He had no confidence in the blessing of the gods. They always leave too many loopholes. So later they could easily kill the target.

That’s the most probable reason he could think of why evil always loses in mythology, which was good, though.

Maybe my worry was unnecessary, as my divine blessing was related to seeing and touching, not hearing.

In the next second, Karna finds himself standing on the ground, with Hidimbi still holding his hand.

In front of him stood an old, long white-bearded man— Dronacharya- and Next to him was Arjuna, holding his golden bow. Both Guru and student had the same frown on their foreheads.

Of course, it shocked them greatly after seeing how Arjuna’s arrow was blocked with a bare palm. Karna himself was a little surprised. He felt his reaction speed had increased a lot.

Maybe he still didn’t understand the true power of his divine blessing, but he decided to explore it later.

"Here it was, your" Karna threw Arjuna’s arrow back at him.

Arjuna caught it just before it was about to pierce his right eye.

"It was you!"

The left side of Arjuna’s four brothers walked forward. It was Bheem who shouted.

His current appearance was that of a wild man, as his hair was filled with dirt, and there was a small amount of blood on the side of his forehead, just above the left eye.

After taking such a hit from Duryodhana, he stood perfectly fine. It told that his durability was no joke.

" Yes, it was me, " Karna smiled at him.

’’You didn’t learn the lesson I taught you back then, did you?!’’ Bheem said, glaring at him, as if he would rip him apart right now.

’’You know him, Bheem," Drona asked, looking at Bheem. But before Bheem answered him, someone else spoke.

’’We met him six years ago. He insulted Brother Bheem, so he threw him far away, ’’ Arjuna said.

So it’s been six years. Karna thought and calculated his age.

So, I’m twenty-three now. They’re never gonna let me leave alone again!

Karna thought about Mina, Priti, Lysa. The promise he made to them before leaving, though it was not the first time he broke his promise. But he too felt bad. He didn’t do it deliberately. It just happened.

It was even a mystery to him how the hell he sat in the same place for six years, calling out to the same god whom he didn’t even respect much or anything.

He felt someone was playing a game with him. How the hell was he even reincarnated in the first place?

Sigh, I would destroy him if I found out someone was using me as a puppet. I even hate the thought of it. Sigh, overthinking again.

’’Arjuna is right. Looks like he didn’t learn his lesson. Dare to stop Arjuna’s arrow. I’ll throw you even farther this time!’’ Bheem stepped forward.

’’Stop, Bheem,’’ Their eldest- the Righteous Prince Yudhishthira stopped him.

Bheem stopped in place, folding his arms, gripping his mace tightly in his right hand. Since Yudhishthira was the eldest and the image of that Righteousness, his four younger brothers respected him greatly. In one sense, those five brothers were united as one, and that was their strength. And the same goes for Duryodhana and his 98 brothers; they didn’t fight with each other.

It was always like 99 vs 5

’’ Husband, I want to kill them for disrespecting you,’’ Hidimbi said.

"Husband? hahahahahaha! You married an Asura, hahahaha! She tricked you! You were tricked by an Asura.’’ Bheem burst into laughter

Karna shook his head and chuckled.

’’Idiot’’
