Back on Earth, Adrian was highly successful.
He was the topper in both school and college and the always the smartest guy in the room.
He easily received a very well-paying job after completing his college studies.
One day at his job, just a few days after joining, his boss picked a mistake in his work and used the opportunity to humiliate him, bringing him down from his high horse of success to the lowest point of reality.
But this backfired for the boss.
Because Adrian wasn’t the type who would obey, bow to others, or wag his tail around them, no matter who they were.
He didn’t like it one bit.
He even thought of punching his boss, but held himself back because he didn’t wanted to get involved with the authorities.
So…
He quit his job.
He resolved never to work under anyone ever again.
Then Adrian started his own company.
It did well in the beginning.
But when the time came for the company to expand, investors wanted equity in his business.
By then, Adrian’s shares had already been diluted to 51%, and he refused to lose anymore if his control over his own company.
He didn’t wanted to bow before investors who could one day hold power over him.
So…
He rejected every future investment.
Eventually…
The company went bankrupt.
He became unemployed and frustrated with his life.
Because he knew he could do so much more.
He believed he could even change the world…
But he couldn’t do a damn thing on earth.
Not because he lacked talent.
Not because he lacked ideas.
But because…
He could never give up control to anyone.
Depressed, he spent the last of his days watching television.
Then one day…
An earthquake struck.
His building collapsed over him.
As death approached, only one thought remained in his mind.
“Just one more chance.”
He never gave up.
He just wanted another chance, a chance to do over again, and this time he swore he won’t stop at anything.

And he got it.
He reincarnated as the 33rd Prince.
At present, it had been a few months since the King decided Adrian’s future and never came to look at him again.
Now Adrian had firmed resolve once again.
That he would become the next King and be the greatest King of all time.

After thinking for a while, Adrian arrived at an answer.

Then the king would simply become just another man of the land he once ruled.
So Adrian now knew what he needed exactly.
He needed people to believe in him, believe that he was the next King.
Only then…
He could become The king.
His first target was obvious.
Ronald.
A loyal servant.
A devout believer.
A man whose faith could become Adrian’s greatest weapon.
So Adrian began planning how to make Ronald believe that he had been entrusted with the will of God.
Once the plan was complete…
He patiently waited for the perfect opportunity.
A few days passed since then.
Then…
The opportunity which Adrian waited for finally arrived.
There was no one else in the room.
Only Adrian…
And Ronald.
Using his cradle for support, Adrian stood up and carefully adjusted his angle so that the evening sunlight behind him formed what looked like a divine glow.
He took a deep breath.
Trying to speak in a heavy, commanding voice—which still sounded childish because of his tiny body—he said,
“Ronald, my faithful servant… Adrian has been entrusted with my will, and I wish for you to support him in his endeavours.”
The moment those words left his mouth…
Adrian deliberately collapsed back into the cradle, not giving Ronald anytime to question him or observe anything further
Then…
He pretended to faint.
Soon after…
He genuinely fell asleep.
Ronald stood frozen.
Completely confused by what had just happened.
For a moment…
It had looked as though someone had descended into Adrian’s body.
Maybe…
It was God.
But then another thought came.
What was the will that God spoke about?
Why would a mere child be entrusted with such a responsibility?

The prince finally began speaking.
