The three robbers blocked by Kuroko looked at each other.
They then burst into loud, mocking laughter that was sharp and unpleasant to the ear.
“They sent a brat?
Is Judgment that short on people?” “Alright, little girl, if you don’t get lost, you’re going to get hurt!” One of the fat robbers spoke with disdain.
As he spoke, he threw a punch toward Kuroko’s face.
Just before the fist hit her cheek, the girl moved like a nimble cat.
She slipped past the side of the incoming punch.
Her face was calm and showed no fear.
She easily avoided the attack and spoke coldly.
“Low-class lines like those…” Using the robber’s own momentum, she gave him an extra push.
At the same time, she stepped hard on his foot and shoved him forward.
The fat robber’s body flipped through the air, and he crashed heavily onto the ground, falling unconscious.
Only then did Kuroko finish her sentence in her unique voice.
“…are just stepping stones to your defeat.” “You bastard!?” Seeing their partner taken down so easily in a single move, the other two robbers finally began to take the young Judgment girl seriously.
“So cool!” Saten’s mouth hung open in wonder.
“That’s our Kuroko~” Mikoto praised with a proud look.
She seemed very pleased to see her friend doing so well.
“I told you it’s not safe.
Don’t go out there now.” Uiharu grabbed the young lady who was the tour guide, quickly stopping her from doing something dangerous.
“But…” The guide looked frantic, trying to pull her hand away from Uiharu.
“What’s wrong?” Mikoto asked as she walked over.
“A child is missing!
He said he was going back to the bus to get something he forgot,” the guide explained anxiously.
“Then, Uiharu and I will…” Mikoto started to suggest, but Saten interrupted her.
“I…
I’ll help too.” Looking at the determined look on Saten’s face, Mikoto smiled and nodded.
“I understand.
Let’s split up and look.” “Yes!” Saten and Uiharu answered together.
The four of them began searching for the child near the buses.
Tsukasa sat back leisurely against the seat, watching Kuroko easily pin the fire-user robber to the ground with needles so he couldn’t move at all.
“If she teleported a needle into the brain or heart, that guy would be finished.
Even just putting one in the thigh is enough to stop them.
Kuroko really is a partner of justice~” Tsukasa commented casually, a wooden stick from a finished popsicle hanging from his mouth.
“Hmm?
Where did you come from?
Forget it, get over here.” The last robber was retreating toward their getaway car when he ran into a young boy who had suddenly jumped out from the bushes.
Maybe his brain had a short circuit, but the robber decided to take a hostage.
Bank robbery was already a serious crime, and now he was adding more to it.
He was practically asking to stay in prison forever.
“Who are you?!” The boy’s voice sounded young, mixed with confusion and fear.
He tried to struggle, but it was useless.
The robber easily dragged him forward.
“No!
Stop it!?” Saten suddenly rushed from behind and grabbed the boy.
This made the robber stop.
Angry at being interrupted, the robber snarled at Saten.
“You bitch, let go!?” The noise quickly caught everyone’s attention.
They all turned to look in Saten’s direction.
When the robber realized he still couldn’t pull the boy away, he became furious.
He raised his foot to kick Saten in the face.
But the moment his foot left the ground, a figure suddenly appeared in front of him.
He felt a cold object press directly against his forehead.
The cold sensation made the robber freeze instantly.
He didn’t dare to move a muscle.
Cold sweat ran down his brow.
In front of him was a silver handgun.
Tsukasa was holding a pistol against the robber’s forehead, and the situation had flipped in an instant.
Everyone froze in shock.
Then their eyes widened, and for a moment, they didn’t know what to say.
“Oi, don’t be in such a hurry.” Tsukasa still had the popsicle stick in his mouth as he spoke to the robber in a lazy tone.
This careless attitude made the robber even more terrified.
He quickly raised both hands, afraid that if he upset the man, he would be killed.
“A…
a…
a gun!?” Uiharu held her head in her hands and screamed in panic.
With those words, everyone finally snapped out of it.
“Hey, you guy!?
Watch out, or I’ll arrest you for illegal gun possession!” Kuroko shouted at Tsukasa, rushing toward him as fast as she could.
“It’s just a BB gun, don’t worry.” Tsukasa pulled the trigger.
A small plastic pellet shot out, hitting the robber’s forehead.
The robber felt a small sting and knelt on the ground, holding his head.
Shame and anger quickly filled the robber.
He had actually been scared by a toy gun.
In a fit of rage, he stood up and swung his right fist toward Tsukasa’s face with all his strength.
[BANG!] A loud crashing sound rang out.
Everyone instinctively looked toward the noise.
They saw the robber embedded into a nearby wall like a piece of art.
Right in the center of his face was a deep fist mark.
He was clearly unconscious.
“So…
strong~” Saten whispered in a daze.
“Ho~ the control on that power was good.
At least he didn’t explode.” Tsukasa squeezed his hand and commented.
If he had used even a little more force, there would have been a very messy scene.
Hearing this, a vein popped on Kuroko’s forehead.
She slapped Tsukasa’s hand and yelled.
“What do you mean ‘control was good’?!
I told you, normal citizens should stay out of this!
Just leave everything to Judgment!” “Instead of worrying about small things, shouldn’t you focus on the robber who is about to escape?” Tsukasa ignored the angry girl and pointed to the fat robber.
He had woken up from his faint and had climbed into a white car to drive away.
“Uh…” Kuroko’s cheeks turned pink.
She was clearly embarrassed by how quickly she had been proven wrong.
“Hey!?
Get out of the way!
Do you want to die!?
I don’t care anymore!” The fat robber shouted as he saw a short-haired girl blocking his path.
The car accelerated and charged toward her.
The girl blocking the road had blue sparks of electricity dancing all over her body.
It was Mikoto.
“Mikoto, don’t—” Kuroko was about to stop her, but Tsukasa covered her mouth with his hand, stopping her words.
The girl looked up at Tsukasa in shock.
“The iconic scene is coming,” Tsukasa said with a smile, looking expectant.
Mikoto showed no panic as the car rushed toward her.
She flipped a coin from her fingertips.
Intense lightning gathered at her hand.
The moment the coin fell back to her finger, a sound like thunder exploded.
The coin shot out like a cannonball, turning into an orange-red beam of light that flew straight at the car.
The Railgun hit the car’s chassis.
The kinetic energy instantly flipped the car into the air.
The car spun several times in the sky before crashing to the ground.
Inside, the robber survived thanks to the airbags.
“It feels like something is missing.” Tsukasa watched as Mikoto looked cool while brushing the hair away from her forehead.
He rubbed his chin, feeling strange.
Then he felt something moving against his palm.
He looked down and saw Kuroko glaring at him with eyes that looked like she wanted to eat him alive.
She was surrounded by a dark aura.
“Oh~ so you were the narrator lady.” Tsukasa realized his mistake and let go of her mouth, finally allowing Kuroko to breathe.
