…

April 24, 2022.

The Reincarnation Space descended.

Without warning, a single sentence surfaced in the minds of every person on Earth.

Then came a blinding sweep of white light.

By the time everyone opened their eyes again, they found themselves standing in a plaza.

Everything about the place was white.

The background was white.

The ground beneath their feet was white.

Even the air seemed to carry that same endless, sterile brightness.

And the plaza itself was impossibly vast.

It resembled the Hyperbolic Time Chamber from Dragon Ball—so immense that no one could see where it ended with a single glance.

Faced with this unfamiliar space they had been dragged into without explanation, disbelief was written all over every face.

…

“Did I transmigrate?”

Han Yue stared at the boundless white surroundings and muttered under his breath.

At that moment, it was the only explanation he could come up with for everything happening in front of him.

Just as that thought crossed his mind, an unfamiliar voice suddenly rang out beside his ear.

[Welcome to the Reincarnation Space.]

[This is a world composed of various instances.

As long as you clear instances, you may obtain rewards and grow stronger.]

[During the initial phase, each person has ten chances to challenge beginner instances.

In beginner instances, you will not encounter other reincarnators.

However, if you die inside an instance, your death will be real.]

[The higher the difficulty of the instance you choose, the richer the rewards.

After your ten beginner-instance attempts are exhausted, an additional special reward will be granted according to your overall evaluation.]

[Note: Many instances contain series routes.

Each time you successfully clear an instance from the same series, your final reward will increase by 10%.

However, once you choose a series instance, you will no longer be able to choose unrelated instances afterward.]

[Now then—begin your journey of reincarnation, rookies!]

[…]

As the voice faded into silence, a holographic status panel appeared in front of Han Yue.

[Name]: Han Yue

[Nickname]: Not Set

[Reincarnation ID]: (Zone D) 9527

[Constitution]: 7

[Spirit]: 9

[Strength]: 8

[Agility]: 8

[Unassigned Potential Points]: 0

[Skills]: None

[Items]: None

[Reincarnation Points]: 0

[Overall Combat Power]: Unranked

…

“So this is my panel…”

Han Yue looked at the floating data in front of him and murmured to himself.

Just then, a tiny flying sprite appeared out of nowhere and drifted over to his side.

“Hello, Master.

I am your exclusive Question Sprite.

If there is anything you do not understand, you may ask me.

Also, please set your nickname.”

“A Question Sprite, huh?”

Han Yue looked at the little thing flapping two tiny wings in front of him.

It looked vaguely bird-like, though not quite enough to actually be called a bird.

In his eyes, it was probably the equivalent of one of those beginner helper NPCs in games—something specifically designed to answer questions for newcomers.

Which meant this little creature was most likely another product of the Reincarnation Space.

A quick glance around confirmed that he was not the only one.

Every other person nearby also had a similar sprite hovering at their side.

As for the nickname…

That was a serious problem.

For someone like Han Yue, who suffered from a severe case of naming paralysis, being asked to come up with a codename on the spot was practically torture.

“Just reverse my name and call me John.”

“Nickname has been set successfully.

Master, do you have any other questions?”

Very quickly, Han Yue organized the information he had just heard from the mysterious voice and began asking the Question Sprite everything he wanted to know about the Reincarnation Space.

The answers he got made one thing clear:

This world was extremely similar to the infinite-flow novels he had read in his previous life.

One instance after another.

One life-and-death scenario after another.

Clear them, and you would receive rewards based on your final evaluation.

The highest evaluation was S+.

The lowest was F.

However, there was also a ceiling to how high your evaluation could go, and that ceiling depended on the difficulty of the instance itself.

For example, in a beginner-difficulty instance, the highest possible evaluation was only C-rank.

As for so-called beginner instances, they were essentially a rookie protection period.

For the first ten scenarios, you would not run into other reincarnators at all.

They were effectively single-player instances meant to ease newcomers into the system.

But “ease” did not mean “safe.”

If you died inside an instance, that death was real.

No retries.

No resurrection.

No waking up in bed drenched in sweat only to discover it had all been a nightmare.

Death inside meant death outside.

Beyond that, many instances were part of larger series.

Harry Potter.

Star Wars.

Marvel.

Franchises like those all counted as series instances.

Once a person chose an instance belonging to one of those series, they would be locked into that path.

If they failed to successfully clear the mainline content of that series, they would lose the chance to choose unrelated instances later on.

Naturally, that restriction came with benefits of its own.

Every time someone successfully cleared another instance from the same series, their final reward would increase by an additional 10%.

The higher the difficulty of the instance, and the higher the evaluation earned after completion, the greater the reward.

Inside each instance, there were not only main quests and side quests, but also hidden quests.

And if one wanted to reach the highest possible evaluation, completing those hidden quests was essential.

At the same time, the Reincarnation Space was not designed to let anyone rest forever.

After completing an instance, a reincarnator would receive a seven-day rest period.

Once those seven days were over, they were required to enter their next instance.

If they refused, one thousand Reincarnation Points would be deducted for every additional day that passed.

And if their points were insufficient?

They would be erased on the spot.

After going through all of that information, Han Yue finally raised the question he cared about the most.

In a world of reincarnation, it was also one of the most important questions possible.

Could the characters inside instances be brought out?

The meaning behind that question was enormous.

If the answer was yes, then the people within those worlds were real—living, breathing beings of flesh and blood.

Their joys were real.

Their suffering was real.

Their lives were real.

But if the answer was no, then everything inside those instances was no more than a passing illusion, a temporary dream.

And in that case, no matter what he did in those worlds, it would have nothing to do with reality.

The answer he received ultimately put his mind at ease.

After successfully clearing ten beginner instances, a reincarnator could spend Reincarnation Points to bring characters out from worlds rated S-rank or higher.

Not only that, but every character within an instance was unique.

Once a specific person had been brought out by someone, no one else would ever be able to bring that same individual out again.

It’s not really mandatory—I’ll eventually upload all the chapters here—but it helps a lot in supporting me and allows me to dedicate more time to it.
