ROSALIA’S POV

Alpha Salvador stepped forward.

“At the end of the day, the two of them are now legally bonded. This sentinel is a member of the Salvador pack. And so now she will be under the protection of the Salvador Pack. We have done nothing wrong according to bonding law,” Lorenzo said authoritatively.Full novel: Rejected The Alpha, Bound To The Wolfless Bastard — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“I had an agreement with Alpha Moncaro; she is my bride!” Alphonso complained.

“Then you’ll have to sort out that agreement with Alpha Moncaro. The bonding mate law works differently,” Lorenzo went on.

Alphonso bit his lip.

There was nothing he could do.

Lorenzo had effectively shut down a pack war.

I was impressed but confused.

“We’ll be taking our leave now,” Lorenzo said to Alphonso.

“You’re in a rush to leave?”

“There’s no point in us staying in this situation.”

“No, you can’t do this. I wont allow it,” Alphonso argued.

His sentinels stepped forward and revealed their claws, ready to attack Salvador,

Lorenzo wasn’t fazed as his own sentinels stepped forward and revealed their claws.

My eyes widened.

Were they really going to fight right here?

“Alphas please. Violence in the temple will not be tolerated,” the temple keeper warned and stood between the two Alphas.

The temple sentinel/guards came forward and stood by him as well.

“Stand down,” the temple keeper ordered.

Alphonso contemplated for a moment.

You could tell he really didn’t want to accept.

However, he finally yielded and waved his men off.

He came to me and cupped my face again.

“I’ll find a way to get you back. Don’t worry,” he whispered.

That was the last thing I wanted.

I looked up at him, distraught.

“Alphonso, I love you.” I lied.

Lorenzo then came to me, and I got up to follow him.

“I do apologise for how your wedding turned out,” Lorenzo said to Alphonso.

I felt Alphonso’s eye on me as we walked out.

“How could you let this happen?” I heard him ask my father.

“Wait, Alpha Ramirez, I had no idea this would happen,” I heard my father say to Alphonso.

Being passed from one powerful pack to another one is insane.

Had this whole plan been for nothing?

If Lorenzo wants to use my power, what do I do?

The temple was a mess as all the wedding guests were moving about, chattering loudly.

They stared as Lorenzo, Helio, and I walked out.

The whispers immediately began.

“The sister hijacked the wedding.”

“Apparently she arranged for Rosalia to get taken by another pack.”

He should have married her anyway.

Who is that man?

“He looks like Lorenzo?”

With Lorenzo leading the way, I followed them out of the temple.

Helio was behind me.

His car was just outside.

It was a sleek black Land Rover.

I sat in the seat next to Lorenzo.

I took one last glance at the temple as the car drove off, wondering what I had gotten myself into.

So I wouldn’t look suspicious, I continued to cry.

They weren’t all fake tears, though.

I was terrified of what was going to happen to me now.

“What exactly did that sentinel tell you?” Lorenzo asked me.

Is he pretending not to know?

Surely, if he sent Helio, he would already know.

“He told me I have to form the bond with him. I was scared to refuse. I don’t know if my sister planned with him,” I started choking on words as if the tears

An uncomfortable expression was on his face as he stared at me.

He ran his hands through his hair.

And we fell silent.

He took out his phone and began tapping away.

The car drove us to the edge of Madrid, and the countryside came into view, far from the dense city.

Soon a large grove of olive trees came into view along the side of the road.

The car parked by a pair of large gates of a property surrounded by the olive trees.

The gates soon opened, and the car entered the driveway.

A massive Spanish Ducal villa was at the end of the driveway.

It was very different from the modern mansion of the Ramirez Pack.

“I apologise for the inconvenience, Ms Moncaro. I know your wedding went far from what you anticipated. However, you will be a guest of Salvador indefinitely,” Lorenzo told me.

I sniffled and then replied.

“I understand.”

Why did he seem so confused by the events at the temple? You are reading on g.com, the official source.

Moreover, he hadn’t brought up my ability.

Helio hadn’t told him?

“Welcome back, Alpha Salvador,” a middle-aged man greeted him as he stepped out of the car.

“Gabriele,” Lorenzo called the man.

He was well dressed in a fine suit and had a ‘no-nonsense’ look about him.

He must be Lorenzo’s Beta and right-hand man.

“Take her to a room near my office,” he ordered one of the servants.

“I’ll be with you shortly, Miss Moncaro.”

One of the servants came forward to take me inside the house.

Lorenzo stayed behind talking to Garbriele.

In the second car behind us, several Salvador sentinels stepped out.

I noted they held down Helio.

His arms were restrained behind his back.

My eyebrows shot straight up.

Helio was certainly his relative, but was he treating him this way?

In fact, why was he a sentinel not in a more respectable position?

“What the fuck was that wolfless bastard thinking?” I heard Lorenzo whisper to himself.

“What happened?” Gabriele asked.

“That sentinel almost caused a war. He bonded Rosalia Moncaro.”

“Isn’t that the sister with no ability?” Gabriele asked.

Did Helio purposefully try to start a war?

“He picked the worst time to fuck up. Mendez is coming in three days.” Lorenzo went on.

Walking into the mansion, their conversation became distant as I walked further into the house.

The interior of the mansion was just as impressive as the outside.

It had the gothic/renaissance design of a Spanish ducal house.

Black and white tiles.

The walls were lined with paintings of olives, grapes, wine, and farmland.

The Salvador pack specialised in wine and olive oil production.

They owned several vineyards and olive tree fields across Spain and France.

I was led to a sitting room on the third floor.

“Please wait in here and help yourself to the refreshments and snacks. If there’s anything else you need, let us know.” The servant informed me.

There were four couches in the middle of the room laid out in a square.

A large table was in the centre.

On it were a large bowl of fruit, plates of biscuits and sandwiches, a jar of water and a teapot.
