⟨ Won two rounds of a fight with an opponent way beyond human limits. Number of assists, two. Calculating total Casllay... ⟩

I opened the panel while heading back to my dorm, after Sister Maren, Seraphine, and I parted ways. Just checking in, seeing how much time I had left.

Wait, holy shit!! I got 1000 Casllay from beating the beetle woman? This is actually so nice. I completely forgot that combat also pays.

Although I was up against a city-level threat, that’s probably why I got a big amount instead of just 10 or so.

"Wait–"

"I’M ON MY LAST DAY!! LILATHEA, HELP!"

The instant panic was showing up, raw. Thank God there was no one around to hear me screaming at the panel. I was hoping Lilathea would answer, but she didn’t. She still wasn’t back yet. What is she, an office worker who can just take leave because of the workload?

It’s fine, calm down, that’s why you have Rue as your last option. I knew I would somehow end up in this situation. I could buy The Starving Hour potions and do 10 full rounds. Sounds possible, right?

My heart started pounding, and I could feel my blood rushing to places I didn’t know existed. Seeing death this close to me again. After getting a second chance and coming this far, I’m not giving up.

There’s also so much left to do. Save Wendel, make a wife out of Saelith, and Sister Maren. I’m falling for her, to be honest.

I closed the panel, determined to grind Casllay and make a mess out of Rue. I have to be dominant, nothing else will do.

I sprinted toward my dorm room. Students were allowed to come back into The Greyclock Conservatory, since there was no danger now. Obviously the tower with the lab’s door was restricted, I heard other students gossiping about it as I ran past them.

I was just a few meters from my dorm room when I saw Rue right by the door, in her maid uniform. She looked quite worried, and when she spotted me, she walked toward me.

"Master, thank God you’re safe. They said to evacuate, so I had to leave. When I didn’t see you in the garden, I became so worried."

Rue covered her mouth, her eyes a little teary. She came closer, then pulled back because she didn’t know what to do in that moment. But I read her and gave her a hug.

She hugged back. For a moment I completely forgot about the 25-hour countdown. Which is a bad thing.

"Rue. You don’t need to worry about me. I’m completely fine."

Rue pulled her hands back, wiping off the tears.

"Okay."

"So... I need to talk with you."

I grabbed her hand and guided her inside the room, locking the door. Rue took the hint, she wasn’t expecting it and was also surprised, but she was already tying her hair up.

I needed to be clear with her, or she might get uncomfortable. I didn’t want that in the middle of intercourse.

"Rue, look... I intend to go all out today. I’m not planning to sleep for the rest of the night. Nor am I going to class tomorrow. We are going to have sex non-stop."

Rue took a step back in shock, eyes widened and blushing.

"If that’s what you want, I’m ready. But please try not to get me pregnant."

"No need to worry about that."

Rue had asked for it during our first time, and I did tell her to stop saying such things. Good thing she’s learning.

I reached into my belt pouch and took out the potion of The Starving Hour, one I bought just in case. Showing it to Rue, her eyes locked onto it.

"This potion basically helps with stamina. I suggest you drink three or so sips of it. I’ll be drinking this too."

"Understood, I will. But can you explain why you’re so invested? I mean, there must be a reason."

Rue asked while I opened the potion bottle. The scent was strong, lustful, enough to set the mood of the room. I did see Rue catching the scent.

"I know it sounds suspicious, but I can’t tell you the reason. I can tell you this, though, having sex makes me stronger, and I need to get stronger."

I’m glad she doesn’t see herself as a slave now, and is actually asking questions. And the first one completely wrecked me. Why did I even tell her in the first place?

But to my surprise, she actually believed me. Giving a smile, she gracefully took the potion bottle from my hand, pressing her lips to the opening like a lady at a fancy restaurant date, and took a few sips as instructed.

A few was enough for her, she had the stamina. I needed more to survive this, definitely.

Rue handed the potion bottle back to me, and I drank it down like some caffeine energy drink before a hardcore gaming session. The taste was alcoholic, but it left my mouth with a weird, calming, open sensation.

I looked up, Rue was standing, mouth open, sweating, her hands gripping her maid skirt hard, trying to contain herself.

It took a moment for the potion to take effect, but when it kicked in, I could only see Rue, everything else was blurry. The blood was rushing faster.

The brief glimpse of her lips turned me on, her small, soft lips trembling with need, like mine. My brain didn’t even register me taking a step closer to her, or it could’ve been her coming toward me.

Our lips were soon an inch apart, then we kissed. I lifted her in my arms, gently carrying her toward the bed.

Her fingers ran through my hair, pulling me close. This was the first time Rue engaged like a partner who knows what she wants and what I need. She’ll learn it, with the help of the potion, one day.
