~{JENNA’S POV}~

(SATURDAY)
“Does he have breakfast before going out, Jolie?”
I asked the housekeeper as she helped me set the table with what we had prepared for breakfast.
She was a mature lady and I appreciated Levi for that.
“Sometimes,” she answered.
“Can you help me call him down for breakfast?” I requested and she nodded and went upstairs.
I had already taken my bath and wore something for work since we’ll be leaving for work together.
Then after that, I will trap him into going somewhere with me.
I sat down at the edge of the round cozy table and waited patiently for my soon to be husband.
Just the thought of him being my husband made me blush and bite on my lower lip.
“Last night he was adorable,” I muttered to myself and that was when he walked into the dining area which was in the corner of the living room.
He glanced at me but said nothing as he went to take the seat in front of me and I smiled.
He had on a pair of black trousers with a deep purple shirt with the sleeves folded to his elbows to show his firm but smooth and skillful hands.
The first two buttons were undone and I noticed he was wearing a gold slender necklace to give a certain aura.
His hair was styled backwards to make him presentable but to me he looked more attractive.
“Good morning, darling.
Did you sleep well last night?” I lovingly asked but he didn’t spare me a look as he served himself.
“Yes,” he responded.
“Does this mean you love my presence?” I teased him and he finally shot me a look before looking back down at his food.
“I’m learning to tolerate you,” he answered and my eyes lit up in happiness.
“That’s a good process.
Would you be willing to follow me to a bridal shop?
I want to pick out a wedding dress and I want you to also pick a suit to match what I’m going for.” I lovingly requested while watching him closely as he muttered a prayer before he started eating.
“I’ll follow if you hand me back my position at work.” He bargained and I smiled as an idea came to mind.
He paused and looked at me with those sexy eyes then responded with, “Sure.”
“Will you be romantic with me in public?” I went on to ask and he nodded.
“If you do the opposite, prepare to lose that position.” I warned him and he gave a sexy smile before saying, “I hope you will be able to handle it.”

Once we were done and arrived at the office, he stepped out of the car first then held out his hand for me and I happily took it and let him help me out of the car.
The security standing outside welcomed us and Levi linked his fingers with mine and walked ahead as he lovingly pulled me along.
When the glass slide doors moved aside for us, we walked in and the staff who had arrived at work took note of us.
Some paused to stare while others bowed in greetings but he didn’t respond.
He acted like I was his sole priority and whoever tried to approach us, he would glare at them.
When we got to the elevator, he softly placed a hand on my back and guided me into the elevator before he got in as well.
When the elevator doors closed, I expected him to let go of my hand but he still held on.
I didn’t even know I was staring at our intertwined hands until he gave it a gentle squeeze before I looked up at him just to find him staring down at me with a slight frown on his face.
He wasn’t smiling as he had his eyes fully focused on my face.
And when I thought he would make an awful remark, he used his other hand to push an invisible strand from my forehead and that was when the elevator doors opened.
“Sir?” Someone called in surprise.
Slowly, he dropped his hand and reluctantly tore his gaze from mine to look ahead and it took a while for me to look away.
When I did, I frowned at the intruder.
It was Christiana, his PA.
She was genuinely surprised to see us together…holding hands.
Her eyes were slightly wide as she looked at our intertwined hands before looking at me and then him.
“Oh, sorry.
Good morning and welcome,” she hurriedly snapped out of her thoughts and I could see that it affected her.
So my instincts were right after all.
She likes him.
I believe you met my fiancée yesterday and I failed to properly introduce you to her.
I was just surprised that she came by unannounced and I didn’t notify you on time.
We’ll be working together from henceforth.” He informed her and her lips fell apart in surprise as she darted her eyes between us before slowly nodding.
I could tell her brain was still trying to process everything.
Without waiting for her to respond, he led me out of the elevator and she quickly stepped aside.
I was enjoying the treatment he was giving me even though it was all a lie.
He led me to his office and the workers saw us and were surprised but didn’t hesitate to greet.
I waved at them in response but Levi didn’t respond.
He just led me to his office and when we were away from watchful eyes, he finally let go of my hand and I hated the emptiness I felt.
He faced me as he slid one of his hands into his trousers pocket and did a nonchalant pose.
“How was that?” He asked and I couldn’t help but stare at him in amazement.
“It was bad,” I responded and he glared at me.
“Next time just let me,” I dismissively said.
“I cannot do that,” he refused.
“Why?
Because you know I will do better?” I taunted him.
“Because you will go overboard,” he responded and I rolled my eyes at him and turned around.
When I started walking over to his desk, he caught my hand and pulled me to himself but not to the point of me crashing against his chest.
Our eyes held each other and I narrowed them at him in suspicion and curiosity.
“What a lovely duo,” someone suddenly said and we both froze in confusion.
Slowly, I turned and Levi’s office chair swerved around just to reveal someone who was already seated on it.
It was someone unknown but very handsome and…a man.
“Nick.” Levi breathlessly called the person’s name and I looked back at him to see him clench his jaw.
Then I looked back at the unknown man who went by the name, Nick.
Wait!
‘Don’t tell me he’s an ex!’ my brain screamed in frustration.
