“No… no.”

Director Eli shook his head so quickly that his glasses nearly slipped off.

Director Eli’s voice stammered as he spoke.

He forced a stiff smile as he glanced at Eric, whose cold gaze alone was enough to make the room feel suffocating.

“You can take Miss Alyssa with you.”

Eric simply nodded.

Without another word, he held Alyssa’s hand and left the office walking toward the elevator.

Alyssa barely had time to process what was happening.

Lisa followed behind them, her eyes widened with shock.

Her mind was still struggling to process everything that had just happened.

The elevator doors slid open and they all stepped inside.

Eric pressed the button for the ground floor.

Alyssa stared at the glowing number.

Her mind was racing.

Wait.

Something isn’t right.

“Mr. Eric, I think we’re going to the wrong floor.”

Her voice came out breathless.

“I need to go back.

I need to pack my stuff and leave the company.

Besides…” She hesitated before asking “I don’t even know where you’re taking me.”

Eric turned to face her.

He released his grip on her hand, when had he taken it?

and looked at her.

“Miss Alyssa. We are not going to the wrong floor.”

His voice was calm.

Certain.

“I actually came here for you.”

Alyssa’s breath caught.

How does he know my name?

She searched his face.

His expression was unreadable.

Oh, right.

Director Eli called my name a hundred times in his office.

But that didn’t explain the rest.

What does he mean he came here for me?

We’ve never met.

I’m not famous.

I’m a nobody.

She looked at him, her brow furrowed.

“How did you know my name?”

Eric’s lips curved into a faint smile but he didn’t answer.

Lisa looked from Eric to Alyssa.

She felt invisible.

Like she wasn’t even in the same elevator as them.

*What is going on?.

She wondered.

Since when did Alyssa get to know the CEO of All Stars Entertainment?

They stepped out onto the ground floor.

Alyssa stopped walking.

“I think you got the wrong person, Mr. Eric.”

She turned, reaching for Lisa’s arm.

“We should go back.”

“Aren’t you Alyssa Moore?”.

Eric’s voice stopped her.

She turned back.

He was smirking.

“Yes. I am.”

“Then I’m talking to the right person.” Eric stepped closer.

“Miss Alyssa. You’re following me to my company. Right now.”

Alyssa’s heart pounded.

His company?

All Stars Entertainment?

Alyssa’s eyes widened and Lisa’s mouth fell open.

For several long seconds, neither of them spoke.

Had they… just heard him correctly?

Alyssa stared at Eric in disbelief.

Her heart pounded so loudly she could barely hear anything else.

She wanted to scream.

She was really going to All Stars Entertainment.

The company every actor dreamed of entering.

The place she had only ever seen in magazines and online interviews.

All Stars Entertainment.

He’s taking me to All Stars Entertainment.

“I need to get my belongings first. With Lisa.”

Her words came out in a hurry.

She couldn’t afford to miss this opportunity.

Whatever this was.

Beside her, Lisa was just as stunned.

Unlike Alyssa, she wasn’t thinking about luggage.

She was still trying to process what had just happened.

Her eyes widened.

A flicker of excitement crossed her face.

All Stars Entertainment.

It had always been her dream to get a closer look at that building.

But going inside?

That was something she never would have written in her bucket list.

“You don’t need to worry about that.”

Eric’s voice was calm.

Almost too calm.

“Your belongings are already downstairs.”

Both women turned at the same time.

Several men dressed in black suits were carefully loading boxes and bags into the trunk of a sleek black Porsche.

How did they pack everything so fast?Alyssa wondered, her mind spinning.

Why does it look like everything was planned?

Lisa thought, her eyes narrowing.

“Okay, ladies. We need to start going.” You are reading on g.com, the official source.

Eric clapped his hands, drawing their attention back to him.

They followed him to the car.

An elderly man stood by the back door.

He bowed slightly as he saw Eric approaching.

“Young Master, you may go in.”

“No, Butler Lucas. Ladies first.” Eric gestured toward the open door.

Alyssa forced a smile and slid inside.

The leather seat was cool against her skin.

Eric followed, settling in beside her.

Butler Lucas closed the back door.

Then he opened the front passenger door for Lisa.

“Thank you,” Lisa murmured as she climbed in.

Alyssa turned her head.

She looked at the Sunshine Entertainment building one last time.

Then the car zoomed off.

The ride was silent as no one spoke.

Alyssa glanced at Eric.

He was focused on the laptop resting on his knees.

His fingers moved calmly across the keyboard.

The approachable man who had smiled and talked to her only moments ago seemed to have vanished.

Now, the person sitting beside her now was the Almighty Eric she had always heard about.

Cold, distant and untouchable.

The friendly Eric was gone.

Why did he come to the company?

What did he mean when he said he came because of me?

She searched her memory.

They had never met before.

Not once.

She turned to look at Lisa in the front seat.

Lisa seemed lost in her own thoughts, staring out the window.

The car suddenly stopped.

Alyssa looked outside.

The scenery was breathtaking.

She stepped out of the car, followed by Eric and Lisa.

Her breath caught in her throat.

The building in front of her was breathtaking.

A towering glass skyscraper stretched into the sky, reflecting the afternoon sunlight like a giant crystal.

The architecture was sleek and modern, radiating prestige from every angle.

Near the entrance, enormous silver letters gleamed proudly.

ALL STARS ENTERTAINMENT

She moved closer to Lisa, who was also staring at the building.

“It’s really big, isn’t it?” Alyssa whispered.

“It’s… even bigger than I imagined.” She said as she let out a quiet laugh.

“Yes. It is.” Lisa nodded without taking her eyes off the building.

Eric turned to look at them.

A small smile played on his lips as he watched them admire his company.

“If you like it that much,” he said calmly, “You can always come to admire it” he said.

His words immediately caught their attention.

Both Alyssa and Lisa turned around to look at him.
