“We can?”

Alyssa and Lisa spoke at the same time, their eyes widening with excitement as they looked at Eric.

A faint smile tugged at the corner of Eric’s lips.Full novel: Ruin Me, Dear Wife — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Of course.”

He slipped one hand into his pocket.

“Don’t you want to see inside?”

“We do.”

Alyssa’s voice was barely a whisper.

“Come with me, then.”

Eric turned and walked toward the entrance without another word.

The two women looked at each other.

For a second, neither of them spoke.

Then they both squealed softly like excited fangirls before quickly covering their mouths.

“I can’t believe this,” Lisa whispered.

“I think I’m dreaming,” Alyssa whispered back.

Eric turned and walked toward the entrance.

They had only ever seen All Stars Entertainment on TV.

They had spent countless nights zooming in on pictures of the building on their phones, dreaming.

Now they had the opportunity to step inside.

It felt like a dream come true.

Trying to contain their excitement, they hurried after Eric matching his pace.

The moment the glass doors slid open, both women froze.

The lobby was breathtaking.

The marble floor reflected the crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.

Large digital billboards displayed promotional videos of the company’s biggest stars.

Award-winning actors and internationally renowned actresses smiled confidently from every screen.

The entire building radiated luxury.

Staff members bowed and greeted Eric as he passed.

Alyssa and Lisa were mesmerized.

This is huge.

They entered a private elevator with Eric.

He pressed a key, and the elevator began to ascend.

The ride was silent.

No one spoke.

Alyssa’s heart raced.

The elevator stopped at the top floor.

The doors slid open.

Standing outside was a young woman dressed in an elegant black business suit, a short black skirt and black heels.

Her dark hair was pulled back in a sleek ponytail.

Her skin was soft and fair, but not as pale as Alyssa’s.

She was undeniably beautiful.

Not the delicate beauty Alyssa possessed, but a cool, sophisticated elegance that demanded respect.

Her sharp hooded onyx-black eyes calmly studied Alyssa and Lisa with quiet precision before settling on Eric.

Lisa and Alyssa both looked at her.

She was stunning.

She stepped forward slightly.

“Welcome back, Mr. Eric.”

Eric gave a small nod.

Then she turned to Lisa and Alyssa.

“Welcome to All Stars, Miss Alyssa and Lisa”

How does she know our names?

Alyssa’s mind raced. You are reading on g.com, the official source.

She looked at Lisa.

Lisa looked back.

The two women exchanged a confused glance before awkwardly looking back at the woman.

Neither of them knew how to respond.

They didn’t even know who she was.

Sensing the awkward silence, Eric cleared his throat.

“This is Xenia. My assistant.”

“Nice to meet you, Xenia.”

Alyssa’s voice was polite.

“It’s a pleasure meeting you, Xenia.”

Lisa smiled.

Xenia smiled back.

“I’ll be looking forward to working with you both.”

She turned to Eric.

“Mr. Eric, everything is ready.”

Eric nodded.

“Follow me.”

He walked ahead with Xenia.

Lisa and Alyssa stood frozen outside the elevator door.

“What did she mean by she’ll be looking forward to working with us?”

Lisa’s voice was low.

“And I’ve been meaning to ask you—how do you know Mr. Eric?”

Alyssa shook her head.

“I don’t know. I’m just as confused as you are. I don’t know what’s going on here.”

Lisa looked at her closely.

“How did you afford this dress?”

Alyssa’s breath caught.

“I’ll explain later. Right now, we need to catch up to them.”

She pointed.

Lisa followed her gaze.

Eric and Xenia had already walked several meters ahead.

“Oh no!”

The two women hurried after them, as they quickened their pace until they caught up with Eric and Xenia.

The top floor was eerily quiet.

Unlike the bustling lobby downstairs, there wasn’t a single employee in sight.

The silence made the entire floor feel even more exclusive.

Only four people were allowed there at that moment.

Xenia stopped in front of a pair of sleek black double doors.

She placed her thumb on the fingerprint scanner.

Beep.

The doors unlocked with a soft click.

Please.”

She stepped aside.

Eric entered first then Lisa and Alyssa followed behind.

The moment Alyssa stepped inside, her breath caught in her throat

The office was enormous.

Everything was decorated in shades of black, grey, and silver, giving the room a clean yet intimidating elegance.

Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the entire city.

A luxurious black leather sofa sat in the middle of the office, surrounding a polished marble coffee table.

Near the windows stood an oversized executive desk.

On top of it rested a black nameplate with elegant gold lettering.

ERIC WALKER

Alyssa couldn’t stop staring at it.

She watched as Eric casually removed his suit jacket and hung it neatly on a nearby stand before taking his seat behind the desk.

He looked toward the two women.

“Please, have a seat.”

Alyssa and Lisa sat down on the couch.

They looked at Eric.

Confusion was written all over their faces.

They couldn’t hide it.

They didn’t even try.

Xenia stepped forward.

She handed them two documents.

One for Lisa.

One for Alyssa.

They opened them and scanned through the pages.

Shock hit them like a wave.

They looked at Eric.

Then at Xenia.

Eric smiled.

His gaze locked onto Alyssa’s face.

“Yes. That’s the reason I came to look for you, Alyssa Moore.”

“You want me to sign under your company?”

Alyssa’s voice was barely a whisper.

“Yes.”

“But I’m a C-list actress. I thought All Stars Entertainment only signed A-list actors.”

“We do.”

Eric’s voice was steady.

“Will she be signed as a C-list actress under your company?”

Lisa’s voice was cautious and professional.

She needed to know the ground situation.

A contract was one thing but status was another.

If Alyssa transferred only to remain a C-list actress, there would be little difference.

“No. She won’t.”

Xenia spoke this time.

“All Stars Entertainment doesn’t have B-list or C-list actors. We only have A-list actors.”

“But I’m not an A-list actor.”

Alyssa’s voice cracked.

“We will make you one.”

Eric’s eyes locked with hers.

The weight of his words settled in her chest.

Alyssa turned to look at Lisa.

Every actor’s dream.

Every musician’s dream.

Every model’s dream is to sign under All Stars Entertainment.

It has been her dream.

Lisa’s dream too.

Lisa looked at her.

She smiled.

Then she nodded.

Alyssa turned back to the documents.

She opened them again, read through every line.

Then she picked up the pen and signed her name.

Lisa did the same.
