Early the next morning, the two got up early.

However, they still lingered on the bed for a while before finally getting dressed and eating breakfast.

Their mission today was to explore according to the underground pipeline map, find the underground warehouse, and empty out all the supplies inside.Full novel: RV Survival: My Anime Waifu Catalog! (HOTD+Mieruko-chan+Food Wars) — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Because of that, they needed to set out early.

While eating breakfast, Shiro opened the Codex system in his mind.

The “Friendly” under Marikawa Shizuka’s portrait had changed to “Affection,” giving Shiro another 1 point in Physique.

‘If I exclude the final unlock reward, then from the current pattern, Acquaintance gives the biggest reward.

Is this encouraging me to unlock more Codex entries?’ Shiro thought silently to himself.

After breakfast, Shiro put some food into his system warehouse.

Then, after confirming that his revolver was fully loaded, he finally left the parking lot with Shizuka.

They did not hesitate along the way.

At the moment, the only remaining players were their group and Sun Yao’s group.

Shiro was not worried about Sun Yao.

His combat strength was definitely above Sun Yao’s, and more importantly, the current players still did not have ranged weapons.

With a revolver in hand, fighting other players would be a dimensional advantage.

If not for the limited ammunition, Shiro would have been tempted to clear the way with gunfire.

The medical station was also a three-story building, and it occupied a larger area than the Town Office.

After all, it was a place meant to receive patients.

There was even a small internal garden for patients to walk around in, and Shiro could already see zombies wandering inside the fence.

“Let’s go.

We’ll be careful.” Shiro glanced at the main gate.

The security uncle, now a zombie, was still inside the security booth playing with a phone.

However, the phone had long since run out of battery.

The zombie security guard was merely following the instincts from when it was alive, randomly tapping away at the screen.

After passing through the fence, Shiro gently pushed open the hospital’s main door.

The old hinges let out a sharp groan.

The light inside was dim, and the air was filled with a strange smell of disinfectant mixed with mold.

Past the entrance was a small waiting hall with several rows of plastic chairs.

Directly across from them was a reception desk, and behind it was a corridor leading to the treatment rooms.

Their footsteps echoed through the empty waiting hall.

Shiro tightened his grip on the baseball bat, his gaze quickly sweeping across every corner.

There was no movement behind the reception desk.

There were no zombies in the seats of the waiting hall either.

“Strange.

It’s too quiet.” Shiro did not relax.

Instead, he became even more cautious.

Based on their experience over the past few days, a relatively enclosed public place like this was usually where zombies gathered.

The fact that there was no movement now meant either they were lucky, or the zombies were hiding somewhere else.

Shiro gestured for Shizuka to follow.

The two walked one behind the other through the waiting hall and arrived at the corridor leading to the treatment rooms.

There were three rooms on each side of the corridor.

The door signs read “Consultation Room One,” “Consultation Room Two,” “Treatment Room,” “Pharmacy,” “Observation Room,” and “Storage Room.” “Let’s check the pharmacy first,” Shiro said in a low voice.

The pharmacy door was closed.

Shiro first pressed his ear against the door and listened for a moment.

After hearing nothing, he gently turned the doorknob.

The door was not locked.

The moment he pushed it open, a thick cloud of dust rushed toward them, forcing both of them to retreat a short distance.

Only after the dust settled did they return to the pharmacy.

The pharmacy was not large.

A row of medicine cabinets lined the walls, with all kinds of medicine bottles and boxes arranged messily across them.

It looked like the zombies had knocked them into disorder.

In the center was a dispensing counter, and scattered across its surface were medicine bottles and prescription forms.

“Oh my gosh, if these medicines can still be used…” Shizuka’s eyes lit up as she looked at the bottles and boxes inside.

However, her excitement quickly turned into disappointment.

These bottles looked unusable at a glance.

Although they were still arranged on the shelves, zombie blood and claw marks could be seen on them.

“Don’t touch anything yet.

I’ll make sure it’s safe before you come in.” Shiro carefully checked every corner of the pharmacy.

After confirming that no zombies were hiding behind the medicine cabinets or beneath the dispensing counter, he finally let Shizuka enter.

The two searched the pharmacy, but unfortunately, not a single bottle of medicine had survived.

Some were expired and unusable, while others had already been destroyed by zombies.

Left empty-handed, the two could only move on and search the other rooms.

Creak!

The harsh sound of hinges rang out again as Shiro pushed open the door to the observation room.

Several zombies in nurse uniforms, who had been quietly standing inside, turned their heads one after another.

“Ghh… ah…” They staggered toward Shiro.

The skin of these nurse zombies had long since rotted away.

There was no so-called uniform charm left, only a nauseating, stomach-turning feeling.

Shiro did not waste words.

His baseball bat swung back and forth, and he quickly killed all five zombies inside.

After searching around, they still found nothing.

After checking the remaining rooms, the completely empty hospital left both of them rather helpless.

“Looks like everything in the hospital was transferred to the Town Office.

We wasted quite a bit of time.” Shizuka sounded a little helpless, and her delicate hand kept fanning herself.

Since the hospital no longer had electricity, the entire building was hot and stuffy.

After spending half the day working here, the two had gained nothing except a body full of sweat.

“Forget it.

Let’s go straight to the underground warehouse entrance.” Shiro was just as helpless.

He had been hoping to find something useful inside the medical station, but now it turned out there was not even anything he could disassemble for steel.

It seemed the Zombie Mayor had moved everything useful to the Town Office while he was still alive.

Fortunately, Shiro had been part of the first group of players to enter the Town Office.

Otherwise, those supplies would have belonged to someone else.

“Mhm, let’s go.

It’s way too hot in here.” Shizuka nodded happily.

She had nearly been roasted dizzy inside this place.

After leaving the hospital’s main building, Shiro arrived at the inpatient ward in the rear.

According to the underground pipeline map, the other entrance to the underground warehouse was inside the inpatient ward.

The inpatient ward’s main entrance could not be opened.

Looking through the glass, they could see that the inside had been blocked by a pile of cabinets.

Even with Shiro’s Physique having risen to 8 points, there was nothing he could do.

“Looks like this warehouse was probably dug later.

The reason it connects to the hospital’s inpatient ward is probably because the Town Office couldn’t hold everyone in town.

The inpatient ward has enough space, and if they squeezed people in, holding half the town wouldn’t be a problem.

In that case, the underground warehouse should be the supply storage area for both the Town Office and the medical station.

There must be quite a lot inside.” Shiro stood in front of the inpatient ward, casually smashing the head of an approaching nurse zombie while analyzing the current situation.

“Then how are we supposed to get in now?

Don’t tell me we have to break a window and climb inside.” Shizuka tilted her head and leaned against Shiro as she looked at the inpatient ward, where even the windows had been blocked off.

She could not help making a helpless comment.

“No, we don’t need to break the glass.

Look over there.” …
